Beautiful location. We were attending an event in Settle. It was only a 10 minute drive away. Staff were excellent and very professional The room was lovely and comfortable, I loved the character. Enough space for 2 people. Stylish shower room. Breakfast was very tasty and well cooked. If I had been staying longer I would definitely have had an evening meal there. The restaurant area looked really nice.

For the price there could have been more choice of cold options on the breakfast maybe pastries or cheese and cold meats. Saying that what we did have was well cooked and presented. A fan in the room, it was a warm night when we stayed so that would have been a good addition to the room. TV wouldn't connect. Not a problem for us only staying one night and not spending much time in the room but if I was there longer it would be a bit of an issue.

This was the perfect start to our trip and we were so sad to leave! The staff were really lovely and welcoming, particularly to our dog - making sure she was always comfortable and watered. The room was stunning and extremely comfy with orthopedic pillows and a lovely duvet. Huge TV if you wanted it which was great for me as I'm blind as a bat. Tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk in the room. Everything was spotlessly clean. The food was delicious and really unique dishes. Both breakfast and dinner were great. The pub, conservatory and garden were all really lovely. We would absolutely stay again and loved it very much.

The only very minor improvement would be that our Sunday roast only came with broccoli as a veg and was bolstered by mash and roasted pots (both delicious) - likely due to us being one of the latest to eat - but I would have had a different meal with some more veggies had I known.

Hotel Review: I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond, kindly waiting past the check-in time as I had called ahead to let them know I was traveling from far. Check-in was a breeze, and I felt welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was stunning—everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort and luxury. The large bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved the huge smart TV and the Nespresso coffee machine, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was also a highlight; it was spacious with a beautiful shower that made me feel like I was in a spa. Although I was too tired to make it to breakfast, I have no doubt it would have been just as lovely as the rest of my stay. I also appreciated the flexibility with a late check-out, which made my schedule so much easier as I was attending a wedding nearby. Overall, this hotel was exceptional and offered great value for money. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, high-quality stay with top-notch service.

That I didn’t get to spend longer there!

Easy access just off the A65, located in a small Yorkshire Dales village. Traditional Pub full of of character that caters for all age groups. It has great amenities, including a wonderful beer garden-featuring peacocks & friendly chickens roaming around! The views of the Dales from the garden-Lovely!! There is a large conservatory on the back, that is very cosy, bright & modern-leading onto the patio. This modern look blends nicely with the more traditional/ character features of the original pub building itself. Stayed one night with my partner & look forward to staying again soon-HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! For us the best part of our stay was the wonderful staff; who went the extra mile always. Very professional, friendly & accommodating! In a nut shell- a very slick, hardworking, well organised team, who always had a smile! We had an evening meal & breakfast the following morning. The food is- FANTASTIC!!! The best we’ve had in a pub anywhere 😋. Our room was very comfortable & had all the amenities needed & had nice features. View from our window was great! All in all-a great overnight stay at The Plough Inn Wigglesworth. 10/10 to the pub, service, food & especially to the wonderful staff. Keep up the excellent work & see you all soon. 👍😀

The female staff and the chap at breakfast. Great breakfast. The shower was excellent and the mattress and bedding were comfy. Good real ales at reasonable prices.

The middle-aged guy serving in the bar in the evening was curt and unfriendly. Less vitally, the bed pillows were too fat together and too thin on their own. No chocs or biscuits in the room. Overpriced IMHO.

A really excellent experience from the time we walked in to the time we checked out we were treated with excellent courtesy & wonderful service. The welcome was really warm & friendly, the room was beautiful, warm & clean, with excellent facilities. The restaurant was busy, but the staff were very helpful & attentive without being overbearing. The food was really first class, all cooked freshly & exactly as requested, from a superb breakfast to lovely evening meals the chef excelled. It’s one of very few hotels I’ve stayed in in over 40 years that I wish I could have stayed longer. A longer stay is certainly on the agenda in the near future.

The Plough is a traditional yet stylish country inn with rooms, nestled in the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales. There is always a fire burning in the pub on an evening! In addition, the restaurant is wonderful with the finest local ingredients (the cheeses!) used to produce sumptuous meals. Even the B&B breakfast featured extraordinary omelettes from eggs raised next door and local cheese from the next village. Such a treat! The staff are so friendly and eager to point out local things to do and tell you about life in the Dales. And getting there treats you to countryside and views beyond believe. Just a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Can't wait to return!!!!

Our stay at the Plough was incredible. I can't commend enough the staff and the owner for making such a welcoming and lovely experience. We were hoping for a local, relaxed vibe with a bit of fun and it completely exceeded our expectations. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with some nice walks to go on nearby. They had thought of everything, and everyone was willing to help as much as they could with every need. The food was impeccable - the chef put so much effort into the choices he made for the tasting menu we had, everything complemented each other brilliantly and clearly had so much effort put in. The staff were so accommodating with every request we made, and they have such a brilliant team there, we feel very grateful to have spent our New Year's Eve with the Plough. Thanks so much to the team for all your efforts, can't wait to come back in summer and enjoy a sunny version of the Plough!

Nothing - everything was exceptional.

We stayed just the one night but it was fantastic. The pub is beautifully decorated with two open fires. One in the bar area and one in the restaurant. At the time of our stay, the Xmas decorations were in place and it gave a very festive feel. The room was great and the bed very comfortable. The coffee machine was fantastic and the small flask of milk was a nice touch, rather than UHT. The restaurant was a delight and the food was excellent. The breakfast was equally as nice. All the staff were extremely helpful and I would thoroughly recommend staying at The Plough.

We stayed for one night on our way to the lake district. We arrived late on a Sunday night and the kitchen was closed. The staff were very good and organised some really good smoked salmon sandwiches and chips, which were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast the next day was good too. We will definitely go back for a longer stay.
