This place is a gem! The owners are beautiful people who can’t do enough for you. I was there to take part in the born survivor race and the owners put some biscuits and water outside my door for my return. The location is stunning and the property is equally as gorgeous. The breakfast is out of this world! The best English breakfast I think I’ve EVER had! I will definitely be back again next year.

The bed wasn’t to my personal preference. It was a very bouncy soft squeaky mattress and the double duvet on a single bed was a bit cumbersome. I did sleep well though as the blackout blind was great! I’m lucky that I’m only short but any taller than me would struggle in the attic room. Ear plugs are provided which I understood why as the noise from downstairs sounds like it’s in the room with you.

The hosts are absolutely fantastic. The rooms are stunning with ultra comfortable big beds and amazing views. The breakfast was so delicious, all freshly cooked, large selection from cereals yoghurts fresh fruits and freshly cooked English breakfast all in all if your looking for the best BB then this is the place Stayed at top rated hotels in this area, and this hidden gem is far better. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay relaxing inc cookies, tea, coffee, bottles of water in your room to real size shower gels, too, and not the mini bottles you find in hotels. They even provide ear plugs in case your partner snores. These little extras make this BB better any 5 star hotel in the area.

Dave and Valerie were very welcoming, a cuppa was offered almost immediately and was most welcome. Our room had an amazing view over the Lancashire hills and with a window seat to sit on and enjoy the view we couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was extremely good value, my husband had a full English the first morning and was impressed with the amount of food on his plate, all delicious. Our friend and I opted for a smaller meal but were equally as impressed. The room was clean, and the bottled water and biscuits were a welcome sight. There was a kettle and lots of choices of drinks to make. We'd definitely return, even if just for the view!!

Greeted with a smile and a decent brew, it's a beautiful hidden gem. I've been a few times before and will stay again. Stay here to visit family. Fabulous views any season. Home cooked full English breakfast plus selection of fresh fruit, cereal, and much more. Ultra comfortable bed, room full equipped with tea, coffee, cookies and ear plugs perfect if partner snores, if they don't then you won't need them as it's peaceful location. Fred parking A+++

As yet not come across a reason to find fault

This was a perfect B&B for us when going to a wedding nearby. The owners are wonderful, making you feel welcome. We were able to check in early (although no guarantee) which was perfect and gave us time to freshen up and change before the wedding itself. The room was a great size with a super king bed, which after an early morning and late night dancing was amazing. Breakfast the next morning was filling with loads of choice, including a fabulously delicious full English. Would definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful as in the middle of countryside and off the beaten track. Communal seating area so very comfortable and much better than having to sit on the bed when relaxing/reading as you do at many B&Bs. Excellent cooked breakfast - mushrooms were particularly tasty! Lovely hosts and very friendly

WiFi wasn't the best. Although not an issue for us, people with mobility issues need to take care as there's a small step between the bathroom and double bedroom

The property was perfectly situated. Such gorgeous rolling green hills all around. The room itself was lovely and cosy. Thoughtful touches with guests in mind throughout. Bed was super comfy and warm, shower was fantastic. We had such a kind hospitable greeting with teas and coffees offered to us too (perfect after our rainy walk in Malham). Breakfast was delish! Cannot fault a thing! :)

We loved the breakfast, it was delicious. The location was very picturesque with space for the kids outside to play in the evening. The communal living-room area was useful in giving us more space with lovely views. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the TV and wifi all worked well and we slept soundly. But mostly we were impressed with our welcoming and friendly hosts.

David was a warm and friendly host who willingly helped us with suggestions for restaurants close by and shared information and ideas on where we were next headed. Our room was spacious and well set out with an exceptional view over vibrant green fields. The bathroom was really clean and the bed large and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We couldn't fault anything.

Lovely quiet location. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. They made us feel so relaxed. If anything they could chill out a little and don't say 'sorry' so often, there was nothing to apologise for. We will book there again if the event we went to next day is happening again next year. Thoroughly recommended
