A super breakfast, freshly prepared and with good variety. The evening meal was most enjoyable. Nigel is a superb cook and rightly proud of the food he prepares. Our hosts, Joan and Nigel were very friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was spacious with a comfortable bed and very welcome shower and bath with abundant hot water. We made good use of the cosy lounge after dinner. We hope to return on our next visit to Lancashire.

The lodge is very remote and quiet and is surrounded by countryside.The staff were very friendly and acommodating,and once you are informed of your room and time of breakfast you are left alone. The rooms are very spacious and well firnished.The beds are very comfortable,and the breakfast is served with a smile and is very good and varied.

The Wi-Fi in the lodge is very slow and irratic.Normaly this would not be an issue,but because of the location of the lodge,you would have to travel to find entertainment. There is a tv in the room,but we normaly surf the internet,unfortunately you cannot do at the lodge do to the poor internet speed.

The Room was lovely and comfortable, the breakfast was so nice you got plenty infact we had to ask for a smaller portion for the next morning as we couldn't finish all of the first breakfast, they was so nice and helpful would recommend Middle Flass Lodge to friends infact I have already recommended it to friends....The location was just right as we was going to a wedding the following day and it wasn't to far away so thank you so much for letting us stay will be coming back again.......

The Middle Flass Lodge is set in a lovely location. Peaceful in the countryside. Plenty of options for walking the Yorkshire countryside with a lovely walk around the reservoir just a short drive away from the Lodge. Checking in was easy and pleasant, greeted by Joan and Nigel (aka Paul). They both made us very welcome, providing us with all the info we require for the weekend stay. The room was everything we could have needed. Lovely garden view. Breakfast was perfect. delicious cooked breakfast every morning with an option for continental options too. Joan and Nigel were very accommodating, providing us with ideas on places to visit or places to eat locally. A homely, warm welcome from both Joan & Nigel. There was a stair lift to the bedrooms which, fortunately I didn't need to use this time. Our bedroom was well decorated , clean with most comfortable beds. The 'en suite ' bathroom was very clean & sensibly appointed with a shower in bath & plenty of toiletries.The towels were changed daily. Their restaurant menu was varied, imaginative & locally sourced. We believe that Nigel is a well known chef of high regard which he certainly deserved. We enjoyed a full breakfast each morning which 'set us up' for the day served by the ever helpful Joan .

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Lovely surroundings, warm welcome, great breakfast. Good food served in the evening too, which unfortunately we didn’t book because we were unsure of our arrival time. All looked delicious though.

Rooms a little dated and we had no hot water in the morning, however after a phone call to reception this was quickly rectified with an apology so not really a problem.

Great hosts and facilities! Comfy beds and you didn’t want for anything! All en-suite rooms with tea/coffee/water provided…. Great breakfast too! Joan and Nigel were great hosts and went out of their way to help us when we needed it!

The hosts Joan and Nigel were very friendly and welcoming and prior to our stay communicated by email prior to arrival ensuring our stay was straight forward . The property was well maintained with plenty of parking and the rooms clean and spacious with everything you needed. Food was exceptional, the evening meal prepared by Nigel was outstanding followed by time in the lounge and plenty of choice from the well stocked bar for a couple of our group while the rest of us attended a family wedding nearby. Breakfast options suited all our groups dietry requirements, the breakfast cooked by Nigel was served piping hot by Joan, setting us all up for the day. Highly recommend Middle Flass Lodge for a stay and thankyou to a lovely couple who made it home from home for us all.

So friendly…almost like being with family. Couldnt have been made more welcome..Lots of choice at breakfast. Packed lunches provided not just for and a friend who was also booked in …but for others, on Day2, who were in the village, on a Course with us. so peaceful, too. A huge thankyou

The breakfast was lovely, with lots of choice. The couple were very friendly and welcoming.

Some people would find the decor a bit dated, though it didn't bother us. My bed was a bit lumpy, but I was very tired, so slept quite well.
