Value for money, tea and coffee facilities and good location.
The room was cold, the heating didn't come on until 9 pm and was only on for two hours. This was raised with the staff and were advised to use an electric heater which didn't heat the room. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too so and requested additional pillows on booking and the request was confirmed, however, no additional pillows were in the room. I had to ask the staff for additional pillows which were provided. The bacon and sausage weren't too high quality and were cheap quality.

Excellent location for Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor Museum, both of which I was visiting, very easy to find just set back from the main road but I heard no road noise during my stay. Lots of parking available. Next to an Indian restaurant where I had breakfast which was very nice and freshly cooked. Excellent coffee. Sadly didn't get the chance to try the restaurant but hopefully next time. Very friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. No noise at night and slept very well. Excellent value for money.
The only point I would make, which other reviewers have also mentioned, is that the room was looking a bit tired and could do with a refurb.

The place is situated in a new road building site. However, it was super quiet and off the beaten track. It was the weekend of Storm Darraugh, but I slept through the wind. I was in room 1 at the front and next to the door, which was easy for transferring luggage. I did hear the door slam, when other guests arrived but it didn't happen late and not often as there are only 7 rooms. The fact that there are only 7 rooms also meant that as a solo woman, I felt safe, and it was very quiet and peaceful. There is an Indian Cuisine restaurant close by, and this is where you can order your meals and take away food to go, too. I chose a simple breakfast of mushrooms on toast, which was good. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and the bathroom was huge! The shower was very hot and easily regulated. The double bed was comfy, and I slept well on the mattress. I have a dodgy back and knee, so the fact the mattress was comfy was welcomed, as most other hotel mattresses can leave me tired and in pain the next day. The best thing about the stay was the customer service. Shah was very friendly, approachable, and helpful. This hotel is very affordable, and the room cost was extremely good value at £50.00 per night, including breakfast. Thank you, Shah and Hawk House, West Camel, Somerset. I would stay again.
The approach to the hotel is tricky, and the sat nav gets confused. This is not Hawk House's fault. If you call them, Shah is excellent at 'flying' you in!

Shah is a delightful and friendly host who takes a great interest in his guests. Breakfast, which is served in the spotless Indian restaurant, is a little unusual with beef sausages and turkey rashers alongside more familiar elements of English breakfast, but they are surprisingly tasty. No longer on the main road which used to run past it, it is not as noisy a location as it once was, and the double glazing is excellent. The room was comfortable and well appointed, though it took me a while to work out how to operate the television!
The breakfast offers could be better if there were some muesli and fruit, marmalade and honey. But what was provided was very good, especially if you like spicy mushrooms.

The twin room was large, clean and comfortable. The check in service was efficient and friendly. There was a spacious bathroom, with a good sized shower cubicle and the shower was powerful and hot. No complaints. The Blue Camel Indian restaurant, on the site, served amazing food and the staff were very friendly.
It was a little out of the way from any facilities, other than the restaurant. There was some some traffic noise from the dual carriageway, not far from the front of the site.

Location was very handy for working at RNAS Yeovilton. Beds were comfortable and bedding and room generally clean. Location was surprisingly quiet and we slept well. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate an Indian meal in the Blue Camel restaurant on site which was excellent. We didn't have breakfast as had a very early start, but staff gave us extra fresh milk for drinks in our room which was very welcome. I will definitely stay again. Very good value for money
The lamps were very dusty and unfortunately the Wi-Fi was not working, but wasn't really an issue as we didn't spend much time in the room.

Our room was clean & ideal for a night’s stay. Tea making facility provided, shower was efficient & room temperature was perfect. The staff were all pleasant, friendly & efficient. It was great to be able to sit down for a delicious Indian meal after our tiring journey & our breakfast was perfect!
The car park was dark & we weren’t sure where we were meant to park on arrival but the staff advised us & we were pleased to be able to park safely & so close to our room. Our room was adequate but fairly small if we intended to stay for longer.

The location was easy to get to and although located next to a road, it was a quiet road with little traffic so it was not noisy. Breakfast was served in the restaurant located next door to the accommodation. Good selection of cereals and yoghurts and you could select a cooked breakfast too which was served promptly. The Indian restaurant next to the location served excellent food for our evening meal.
The outside area needs a little tidy up and the parking spaces need to be more clearly marked as wasn’t obvious where to park.

Didn’t know the area and the amenities were a bit of the way out in Yeovil or a services about 1half miles down the road ,the staff were polite and helpful ,the bed was so comfy, fresh towel were provided, and we did try the food next door not a big selection on a Sunday buffet but it was nice
Some damp in bathroom ,breakfast not bad but very oily no bacon we had turkey rashers smoked not nice (think no bacon due to religious reasons)
