Liz & Graeme are supper friendly, the B&B was a sea change for them and they run it fantastically. Nothing is too much trouble, from tea and cake in the garden and the most delicious breakfast. It was a true pleasure to stay there. Bedroom was supper comfy and everything you needed, inc little touches like "make up, face clothes" fan provided in the mini heat wave the UK was having. It's in a lovely village location, with a really great pub where the food was excellent. We stayed here on the off chance as our plans changed but would definitely stay here again, but for a couple of nights next time. There is also parking

The hosts were friendly and hospitable. It was our daughter birthday and they made a little celebration at breakfast which was lovely. We stayed in the family suite. It has 2 separate rooms which is very convenient when with children as you can enjoy watching tv without disturbing their sleep. Rooms were very clean with all the facilities. The beds were very comfortable. Beautiful garden and we were encouraged to enjoy it. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. Very good wi-fi connection. Overall a fantastic experience and the best BandB we ever stayed in. We will definitely go back!

Nothing, all was very good.

Wonderfully welcoming hosts able to share good knowledge of the local area. A warm and comfortable bedroom with all creature comforts; real attention to detail (fresh milk and complimentary beers and soft drinks in the guests fridge) and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. Although Ilchester is a small town with limited facilities we took our hosts advice and ate at very good Italian restaurant minutes walk away. Although just off the main road we heard no traffic noise and slept soundly. Thank you Liz and Graeme.

Nothing to dislike

We have stayed at many locations during the last two years. Liongate House has been the best by a country mile. The communication from the moment we booked to the minute we left was excellent. Liz and Graeme made us feel very welcome after our long journey and we were welcomed with a chocolate treat. Clean, safe and lovely accommodation. We will definitely go out of our way to book this location again in the future .. a real gem in a beautiful Somerset village. thank you x

A wonderful, warm welcome from Liz and Graeme, who couldn't do enough for us. The room was immaculate, the welcome drinks and homemade brownies were a wonderful surprise. It was a perfect place to stop over both on our way to and from Cornwall. Liz and Graeme are full of knowledge about the area (and indeed both about where we travelled from, and our final destination!), which was lovely. Finally, the breakfast was amazing - fresh and delicious.

The hosts, Liz and Graeme, were absolutely delightful and gave us a warm welcome. We had a good night's sleep and breakfast in the morning was excellent.

There are no negatives to feed back here. Liz and Graeme are doing an excellent job and we can heartily recommend Liongate House as a place to stay, if you are travelling in that part of the West country.

Lovely room with very comfortable bed, a sofa to sit on and a desk, too. Bathroom was excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean. Liz and Graeme made me feel very welcome and provided clear instructions for my arrival. Fresh milk was available for the tea/coffee in my room. Breakfast was exceptional for a B&B - lovely range of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, then a delicious cooked breakfast with home-made bread and jams. I will find an excuse to return!

Nothing - it was perfect.

We have absolutely nothing but praise for Liongate House. We were very comfortable in every aspect of our stay. A warm welcome was followed by time spent in a very pleasant and well equipped room. The shower room was extremely well planned and every detail carefully considered. We had a peaceful and restful sleep. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. The entire property was meticulously clean, contributing to a delightful stay.

Can't fault anything, really nice quiet location, not far from the Haynes Motor Museum and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. The room was spotless, great wet room with walk in shower, Breakfast was just perfect, best full English we have had in many years. Liz and Graeme were brilliant hosts, nothing too much trouble, very friendly. Lovely Italian Restaurant a few mins walk away. Car parking on site is no problem at all. All in all near perfect.

Great friendly hosts, we were welcomed with home made cake and coffee in their beautiful garden. The room was large and spotless. It had everything we needed. The three seashells made e chuckle. Breakfast was wonderful.

We found the bedroom very warm, even with the windows open, perhaps a fan would be good for the summer.
