Everything at Lagoon Breeze was amazing, the room was super big, very comfortable, complete kitchen and bathroom really nice. Aircon worked great, also had a fan. The property its immaculate, looks perfect all day long and its absolutely wonderful. The entry to the beach is just crossing the road and with one of the best places to stay and enjoy, lots of corals, sand to relax and a beautiful turquoise sea. The breakfast was way better than expected, huge variety of fruits, bread, jams, pb, juices, coffee, teas, and the staff was lovely. The reception was great, they received us super friendly and helped us with everything. There was snorkeling gear, some shoes and kayaks to use for free. We booked the airport transfer and we were very happy about it, very good service. I can´t recommend enough this place, looking forward to come back soon.

Nothing at all

We had the pleasure of staying at Lagoon Breeze for a week, and here’s what we thought: Pros: The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, which made our stay very comfortable. We loved the daily towel service – such a nice touch! The pool was a great spot to relax, and the breakfast area was cozy and inviting. Having barbecue grills available was a bonus for our evenings. The location is fantastic – just a short 15-minute drive from the airport. Free snorkeling gear is available, which is a fun perk, even if the equipment is a bit worn. The master bedroom had air conditioning, which was a relief after a day out. The bathroom was large and well-equipped. The kitchen had all the basics, making it easy for us to cook when we felt like it.

Cons: If you’re traveling with family, be aware that not all rooms have air conditioning throughout. Ours had it only in the master bedroom, which might be uncomfortable for others staying in additional rooms due to the heat. Wi-Fi isn’t available in the rooms, which could be a downside if you need to stay connected for work. You’ll need to head to the common areas like the pool or reception to get online. Breakfast was decent, but we’d love to see more variety, especially in the fruit selection. A little change, like adding a boiled egg, would be a great improvement.

We loved everything about this property! All the staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful! So safe and clean and beautifully landscaped! Snorkeling right across from the property was excellent!

The location is excellent. LBV is located right across the road from the best beach on the island for snorkeling and swimming with gin clear water, abundant fish life, and a very quiet beach. The pool area is lovely. The gardens are beautiful and the staff are amazing - they are so accommodating. Probably the best we have encountered on our 12 visits to the island. The breakfast supplied is also wonderful. We especially liked the great selection of local fruit.

We initially stayed in the two story villa and the rooms are a little dark and dated. The top floor has low beams so watch your head. However we moved to a single story 2 bedroom villa which was wonderful. The rooms are getting a little tired and the showers could do with an update as they only have rain heads and the silicon is a little dirty but that’s really no major. They still work perfectly fine.

The studio villa was very well appointed, with AC. Breakfast included local fruit that was served with Easyo yogurt, meusili, toast and coffee. It’s a very quiet location, on the south coast of Rarotonga. A public beach is just across the street. Snorkeling equipment is available for guests. Beach towels are available. Rooms are cleaned daily. Barbecue facilities are scattered throughout the property. If you want to eat out there are several restaurants nearby. There are also two petrol stations nearby that have convenience stores.

We enjoyed the pool and the beautiful gardens. Each villa had a nice deck, with a roof.

Second time staying here, staff are very friendly, grounds are immaculate, a credit to the hard working staff! Breakfast is a treat and nice touch having the local paper to read, pool was great especially with the hot spell we were having. Nice to see and get to pat their cats, especially when missing ones at home.

2 bedroom villas have stairs and with not having carpet or matting it hurts when you fall down them 😂 teenage son fell down them first day there and you would think I’d learn not to do the same thing a couple of days later 🤪 Felt the one thing missing was a full length mirror only had head shot ones in the bathrooms

Best beach on the island is just around the corner, in close proximity to all good eating places (excl Tamarind). Very friendly and helpful staff, beautifully organized gardens and areas around the villas, quiet (apart from the roosters but they’re everywhere, you can’t hide from them) and safe (a night guard gives a great peace of mind). Nice light breakfasts with seasonal fruits, several bbq spots available (shared between two villas max), fairly clean and well looked after.

Villas do need a bit of renovation, breakfasts could probably have a better variety and include dairy free options at least (only one yoghurt option, only one type of milk). Limited selection of the swimming gear / sizes.

Great check in process. Super clean 1 bedroom villa. Plenty of space and modern. Extremely functional layout. Great ceiling fans (+ aircon which we didn't need to use). Hot water stopped but was fixed by plumber and maintenance guy. Upoko Ina, our fabulous cleaner (that rhymes), was superb. She did a great job and was extremely friendly and informative! All the staff were wonderful. The gardens are lovely and each villa had ample space outside for lazing or running around. No TV in the villas - a great plus! Spent most of our time outside on the outdoor chairs.

I cannot think of anything that we didn't like. Maybe getting wifi into the villas in the future.

The villas were beautiful inside and out and the whole area and set up was nice and private, lots of gardens and bush/ plants to cover your area from neighbours. Pool area was spacious and beautiful that catered to both younger aged kids to older aged adults. Delicious free breakfast of mixed fruits/ yogurts/ cereals/ hot and cold drinks provided every morning in the cafe, it was also cool seeing games and a kids playground area for the young ones. Staff was super generous and helpful getting us settled in and making us feel at home during our stay, from the receptionists welcome to the housekeeping ladies who were awesome to chat to daily. Communication online with them leading up to our stay was also great. It was also really nice seeing all the groundsman and security guards doing their work during all hours of the day and night. The location of the villas is close to many dairies and grocery stores. And of course right across the road from the lagoon which is a top bonus.

There’s nice bright outdoor lighting lined along the driveway and around the front of each villa. The lights that were outside the villa we stayed in were a little too bright and shone right through the closed curtains which made it a little harder to settle during the night, there’s an electric air conditioner in the main room of our villa that worked awesome, there’s also ceiling fans in the main room and outside the lounge area/ x2 single bed room but they were a little too intense and loud even having them on the lowest #1 setting but other than those little things everything else about the villas were perfect!

Spacious villas, beautifully maintained gardens, amazing stuff. Everything feels comfortable, cozy, friendly and relaxed. Walking distance to amazing Aroa beach (lots of fishes and, at the end of July, we regularly saw turtles at low tide). At high tide, it's possibly to snorkel just across the road from the hotel. Close to everything (by car, 15 min to Muri night market, 10 min to Avarua, 5 min to closest good food places). Playground and trampoline at the heart of the hotel complex next to breakfast/cocktail cafe - kids entertaining each other in the morning and before dinner. Snorkeling gear available at the hotel - not too many masks/tubes but reef shoes, flippers and kids life jackets came in very handy. Kayaks. Beach towels. Board games, books, table tennis. Lovely, albeit a bit too refreshing pool. Nice breakfast - fresh and canned fruit, yoghurt, muesli, cereal, milk, juice, toasts, jam/honey, coffee/tea. Cocktail bar - just two hours a day, nothing super special but, surprisingly, probably better than many famed bars around, and the bar lady is very welcoming.
