Location. Close to various metro lines and railroads Eateries nearby Printemps and Lafayettes within walking distances.

Some small insects inside the room. Toilet drain smelly occasionally but could be subdued by running water for a while.

The location is perfect - very close to the train station and metro, also an enjoyable walk to many of the attractions. The rooms were exceptionally quiet and very comfortable - we loved the design details and especailly that the bathroom was separate to the shower/sink area. Loved having coffee in the room in the morning and the teas available in the lounge/cafe area near reception.

There is nothing that could be improved on here. Just a perfect place to stay and look forward to returning.

Also thanks to la directrice Miriame who upgraded our room and gave us free spa she’s one of the reasons why our stay was so great I also forgot to mention the great location 10 minutes drive to champs elysees and the area the hotel is in is amazing.

The best advantage of Hotel Phileas is its location. It is directly adjacent to exit 8 of Lazare station, making it convenient to travel around Paris. Breakfast hours were 7 AM - 11 AM, which allowed us to finish sightseeing before it got crowded, return to the hotel for breakfast, and then rest. The tea time snacks provided from 2 PM - 10 PM were also very satisfying. Although the cakes weren't great except for the madeleines, the beer was excellent. The staff, including Oliver (which I was told is a French name), were very kind and enthusiastic. The hotel also offered a free day spa, which although limited to 30 minutes, was still very helpful in relieving travel fatigue.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Paris. The service and the staff’s attentiveness were excellent. The breakfast was good, and when I asked for gluten-free bread and olives, they responded immediately and brought them to my table. Tea and coffee were served throughout the day, and the homemade cakes offered in the afternoon were delicious. It’s a charming boutique hotel, and the rooms were appropriately sized for Paris standards. The soaps and shampoos provided in the room were of high quality, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel's location is also excellent – it’s right across from both metro and bus stops, which made getting around the city very easy. We were able to reach all the main sights in Paris effortlessly. The surrounding area is safe and pleasant, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel for anyone visiting Paris.

It would be great if the hotel could consider adding more Mediterranean-style breakfast options and a wider variety of gluten-free choices to further accommodate guests with dietary preferences.

Clean, modern interior, very friendly staff, good location Have some cozy corners to rest in the lobby, even fireplace (electrical as i understand) We didn't have time to visit spa, but we took breakfast from the hotel - everything is fine Comfortable for me that the room has coffeemaker, teapot, and hairdryer separated from the bathroom Oh, and there is an umbrella stand in the lobby with free to take umbrellas if the weather is bad - it was useful

Small details that didn't ruined our stay

I had great stay at the hotel. The location is very convenient - next to Saint Lazare train station, but the area is quite quiet. And it's also a direct metro line to Orly airport (only took me 30 min to reach the hotel). The pleasant surprise was to get a room upgrade! The room I got was very spacious, the bathroom products provided were from Rituals. I also got complimentary macarons and chocolate which was a nice touch. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I didn't use the spa facilities even though they were included in my room and didn't have breakfast. Overall I'd highly recommend this hotel, and will stay again.

An excellent place to state if you want to be in the center of shopping (Gallerie Lafayette etc) and access major tourism sites. The train station is right in front of the hotel and a taxi rank also. The hotel staff and friendly and helpful and the hotel is pleasant.

The location is a 10/10. Straight facing gare saint lazare. Metro and train station. You can reach Supermarkets, shopping, patisseries, restaurants within 2 minutes walking A great welcome from the reception team Rooms are spacious and very very very clean The toilet and the shower cabinet are separated. Some people mentioned the noise caused by the station while the hotel did the job, the room is equipped with 2 windows, double glazed with sound proof each.

The staff was fabulous. The other good part was Spa, but not worth the money that I've paid for the hotel.

The wardrobe in the room was tiny. I'm not sure who can put their clothes there. I guess only children I wasn't particularly impressed with the breakfast. The gym equipment is outdated. There are only three types of weight: 1kg, 3kg, and 5kg. All in all, the hotel needs to improve in many categories.
