Room was super clean Staff was super friendly and made our requests happen easily Location also had EV charger with fixed overnight fee which helped us to continue with full battery in the morning Breakfast was also having very wide range of different treats from buffe table

We visited during summer so room was very hot to sleep. Somekind of aircon would make this location 10/10 Also its situated close to fairly busy traffic road which bother a bit when sleeping windows open due the heat

What a gem! Our room was very clean and comfy and the dog was made welcome with some doggy treats. Easy dog walking around the hotel. The bathroom was as new with a powerfull shower. The diamond of this place is for sure the restaurant. Beautiful, fresh and seasonal ingredients that were so very well prepared. The beer was fabulous and brewed right next door. We can not fault this place.

Location is close to Rothenburg but will need a car (6km distance), room was small but fine. Easy to find. Very popular with locals. Breakfast was very good. Good as a stop off point on our way to The Netherlands. If you like your German beers, there is a brewery next door so there is a great choice.

The maitre d' was excellent but the waiting staff didn't make us feel as welcome. However this could have been the language barrier.

Nice building and rooms, undoubtedly clean and comfortable, modern well renovated bathroom. Friendly and English-speaking personnel. Very good breakfast. Large indoor restaurant with outdoors beer-garden and some good choices in the menu. Good beer from their own brewery. 3 Tesla chargers available for rent in front of the entrance (ask for the price at the reception, they charge a fee).

Room facing the local street in the village, implying noise from those few cars passing during the night. You should account for it if you're not planning to get up early in the morning, especially during the summer if you're sleeping with open windows, as the rooms do not have air-con (which is normally not a problem in itself). We found the price to be some 10% higher than other equivalent accommodations, for both hotel and restaurant - accounting for higher prices in this particular moment already. The hotel didn't have the family room for four we had booked but offered two adjacent doubles instead. It was no trouble for us, but it could have been for others, so they should have contacted us beforehand and asked.

The hotel pays attention to even the smallest details and they really try to make you feel at home. The owners are very nice people. The room had plenty of space and all the amenities. The restaurant is popular among locals and you find there a real German traditional atmosphere. If you come by car it is a very convenient hotel to visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber, as it is only 8 km away. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we were delighted.

The restaurant's menu is only in German (anyway, that was not a problem for us, as we speak German).

Fascinating old property in character but decorated and furnished to the highest specification. An incredible experience. The quality together with the ample portions of food in the restaurant was exemplary. The staff were so friendly and helpful despite our not being able to speak German.

everyhing was perfect

The staff were great and the hotel was very clean. We ate dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious! The hotel is just a short drive from Rothenburg and was very convenient for our travel plans.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable and noisy. Otherwise we have no complaints!

We stayed for one night Hotel Brauereigasthof Landwehr-Bräu during our journey from Slovenia back to the Netherlands. We had a very nice stay in a family room with our kids. The Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast had all we could hope for. Also the beers from the brewery are pretty awesome. Highly recommended!

Everything was good

Very original Bavarian. Very nice staff. Perfectly what we were looking for. Restaurant in property was something we will talk about as a family forever for how good the food and ambiance was.

Hot water not as good as commercial hotel, but not bad at all.

Attractive, traditional looking German decor with a very good Italian restaurant. We ate there all three nights and every dish was good. The continental breakfast was also excellent, with a much wider variety than I have encountered at other hotels. Lots of choices of breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, cereals and a great fruit salad. The man at the front desk was very helpful.

The bed mattress was a little firm for me and it was warm and we didn’t have air conditioning
