It advertises itself as Bed & Breakfast but it is not strictly a B&B. There are facilities in the room to make your own breakfast. Cups, kettle, crockery, cutlery. Microwave. The room is excellent value for money. We had to ask for towels. We were also a bit unnerved to arrive at 9pm from Banbury after work to find we had to ring somebody to access our room but somebody answered and explained the key was in the door of the chalet. You can't expect too much when you are paying £48 per night but the bed was a bit uncomfortable, the bathroom was small and cramped but the shower worked.

The mattress - it was a bit lumpy The slightly eccentric decor - did we really need quite so many poppy prints? One of the bed side lamps was not working

Very convenient bolthole to attend a conference. Did exactly what I needed it to do. Great location and nice and quiet. Very cheap and not a palace, but much better than I expected for the price, I will happily return. I was running late due to the motorway being shut, so wasn't going to get there for last check-in. I called ahead and they left the key in the room for me so I could arrive at any point. Very helpful and took the stress off the journey.

Carpet was a bit stained (looks like someone walked in without taking their shoes off) No towels, but I'd already read this and brought my own.

The location is good very serene but we missed the turn because the sign was hard to read because it was extremely dark. The room was fully ready bed made neat. The one I spoke to over the phone concerning me arriving late to the facility was nice and she did exactly was she said she would do to help me get access to my room. She was really helpful

Very peaceful location, though hard to find.

Although it was called B&B I was not advised what to do for breakfast, there was no milk nor cereals in the room. Rather early check-out of 10 a.m. & late check-in of 4 p.m., though I was allowed access earlier.

It's in a beautiful location, great value for money. It wasn't my first time staying here and I'm sure it won't be my last.

The noise from the guests above me going up and down the metal stairs.

Self catering unit, which I liked. Close to where I had to be. Staff very friendly. Not posh but great price

A bit tattered, but you pay for what you get

I had read the previous reviews but we were not put in the Butlins style chalet but in a flatlet in the rear of the property which was quiet. Car park right outside on a gravel area. We were only a couple but had a family sized room with a microwave and a fridge. The double bed was comfortable enough for the one nights stay.

Why no towels. We thought that was very odd.

Good value for money. Convenient location to the venue that we were attending.

No towels. No reception to see a staff member. I had to ring up to find out which room I was staying in.

What can’t you like at that price - c’mon, great value and can’t complain at all

The location was just right to how close we needed to be to family has we live out of town would definitely stay again when visiting family

No hand soap in the dispenser other than that everything fine
