A beautiful, quaint, rural farm on the outskirts of Manchester, very close to the airport. We were immediately greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the host and were shown to our room which overlooked the lovely cow sheds (perfect for my 7yr old daughter). The host informed us about the local amenities and showed us the dining/breakfast room. Our room was spotlessly clean with fresh cotton bedding and warm heating for the snowy weather. In the morning we had two freshly made bacon sandwiches waiting for us in the kitchen oven and an array of other breakfast options to choose from. This place is so conveniently located for the airport in the most beautiful countryside setting. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion.

Nothing, it was perfect!

This barn conversion accommodation, located near Tatton Park, offers a stylish, open-plan space with a minimalist, industrial design. The unit includes a ground-floor double bed and another double on the upper level, accessible by stairs. The bathroom is spacious, and the shower offers high-pressure warm water. WiFi is fast, and communication with Caroline, the point of contact, was efficient. Check-in is from 3pm, and check-out is at 10am (I assumed check-out is at 12noon, so please be mindful of that). The stay offers great value, with inclusive parking and a delicious breakfast featuring bacon and egg baps (soft rolls, yum!), cafetiere coffee, yogurt, fruits, cereals, and croissants. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and the area of Cheshire is worth exploring.

I was so surprised with this place and the unique way they have converted barns on a working farm, with all the pressures on farmers today it was great to see someone who has created a wedding venue that is so imaginative with also using old farming machinery to highlight the place. The accomodation was hi spec with everything thought of for a lovely stay. I loved it! The breakfast room, overlooking the cows munching away on their breakfast, while you have yours which had everything even freshly made hot bacon butties were brought through. I can praise this place enough definately stay here again.

Absolutely nothing

First of all it’s located in such a lovely area. Super close to the airport. We had a flight late afternoon on the day after our stay, and we were able to stay in our room for a late check out free of charge. The property itself was beautiful, lovely individual rooms with stunning yet simple interior. The bed was so so comfy. We didn’t want to leave. The breakfast options were endless and all set out brilliantly. And we were greeted by the cutest and friendliest farm dogs. Would definitely stay here again.

The morning we woke up we could hear staff/cleaners walking about and chatting just out the back of our room as there must be a corridor there, we just got a little nervous they were going to walk in when we were showering or something but they didn’t. Also if you don’t like noise then you won’t like the loud aeroplanes that go over quite often. But we expected it as we chose this location to be close to the airport.

Such a convenient stopover destination for Manchester airport. We booked the family room and found it to be an excellent clean, tastefully decorated, peaceful property. The communication from the host Richard was excellent even though I arrived very late at the property. All instructions were very clear and straight forward. The beds were super comfortable and everything required was provided. The breakfast setup from fantastic and had everything that was needed to enjoy a nice tasty breakfast to start the day. The hot bacon butty waiting in the warming oven was a lovely touch. I will definately consider using this location again when travelling from the airport and would/will highly recommend to all friends. A big THANKYOU to the hosts for offering such a great place to stay.

Our room was very clean and spacious. We had ample parking. The host provided a take-away breakfast sandwich for us. The host suggested the nearby Church Inn for dinner which was excellent. Wi-Fi and TV was excellent. Very nice bathroom and the shower is excellent. The whole property and all facilities were outstanding.

We could hear approaching aircraft as the Manchester airport is nearby, but we selected this location so it would be quick to get to the airport the next morning. It's a little confusing finding the correct entrance upon arrival.

A full English would be the icing on the cake but it was lovely but I think that would be great. Although I enjoyed the bacon butty: awesome rooms. Lovely and cosy. Caroline was a lovely host.

Could put things in the mini bar fridge and charge after. Saves messing around, but very minor. A full English would have made this a 10/20 as opposed to 9/10

Great location for us, room was spacious and clean, beds were comfy, plenty of tea and coffee etc in the room. We will definitely be back in the future. I almost booked somewhere else and then this place popped up. I read all the reviews and looked at all the pictures available, it ticked all the boxes for us and when we arrived it didn’t disappoint. Thank you

Unique type of stay (in a good way!). Clean, tidy with a really comfy bed. Quite nice way of providing breakfast. Tastefully presented accommodation.

Nothing really. Would be great to be able to walk safely to one of the nearby pubs (they obs can’t do much about that !) Maybe some instructions about how to use the heater. The airport is close by so that has its positive and negative points.

I travel to Knutsford quite regularly for work and like to try new places and The Tens Owen House Farm has been on my list for a while so when I get there I was more than happy with my expectations. I chose a last minute midweek stayover rather than commuting home and dealing with the stress of the M6 and this decision proved to be a winner. The rooms/cabins/chalets as I would describe them were absolutely perfect. The room was so comfortable, warm, had a great hot rain shower, had a real nice theme to it and felt really cosy. I really like the design of the place and how they have kept the traditions of the farming life yet it was modern and quirky. I was a 10 minute drive out of the town into the countryside but could of been anywhere. A great sleep was had as it was very peaceful and come morning I was fully recharged and ready to go again. The host Caroline was really friendly and helpful too and makes a quality bacon bap. Breakfast is limited but that works for me, I am not a full English lover so the 'help yourself' essentials and filter coffee were all good. I will definitely return next time I am working over that way. It is also worth noting that there are 3 decent pubs in close proximity if you want to dine in the evening.
