The pool/spa is not to miss! I only had one night here and almost didn’t bother, but I was so glad I went swimming. The restaurants are also very nice, might be a touch expensive but bundling breakfast with your booking is abundantly worth it and quite delicious. I am gluten free and they had a lot of good options for me, including “French fries” cooked in a dedicated fryer so there is no cross-contamination.

The air conditioning in my room was out, but I didn’t bother complaining since it wasn’t too bad. So I can’t speak to how the staff may have responded if I had needed to complain. The property is a little spread out but I found the signage was pretty good and I didn’t have any trouble finding things—just follow the signs, not your sense of direction!

Easy hotel to get to...... plenty parking, the hotel lobby looked a bit run down from the outside with reception not clearly signposted,. However once inside it was like stepping into another world, very nice lobby overlooking bar and restaurant staff on reception were excellent .. very welcoming and cheerful, check in was quick, room was clean and comfortable...... the leisure facilities were ok..... the highlight of the our "one- night airport" stay was the bar and restaurant, great cocktails served at the very smart bar, then had the most amazing fillet steak in the restaurant (one of the best fillets ever - and I've have had a lot of fillet steaks)..... again staff were on point to add to the experience..... only gripe was the parking charge of £16 per night, (no discrepancy for disabled badge holders)... most 4 star hotels only charge £10 - £15 p/n ..... would definitely stay again.... even if only for the steak ! 😀

The room (family room) fit 4 of us in comfortably. The bathroom was large and the water pressure strong. The swimming pool area was brilliant, with a large, clean pool, plus jacuzzi, steam room, sauna plus cold plunge. The breakfast (at additional cost) was very nice.

Very hard to navigate around the hotel. It is a huge property with only a few floors so finding the way around, getting from reception to the room, then to the leisure centre is time consuming and complicated. I regularly saw lost families wandering around unsure where to go. Nothing the hotel can change but don’t stay if you will struggle with this.

Rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable. USB charging ports in the bedside lamp, nice hot shower and comfortable beds, paid extra for breakfast but it was a very nice and the buffet was kept clean and tidy. The staff were on the whole very pleasant. Also, I was expecting 1 bed and 1 sofa bed as there was three of us staying but actually got two queen size beds which was a result. Sadly did not get to use the leisure facilities so cannot comment.

A little pricey but a comfortable stay and I feel worth it if you use all of the facilities. Called room service on the first night to ask for a blanket which I never received. Drinks were fairly expensive but the bar area had a lovely atmosphere and stayed open after 11. You need a bit of spending money to fully enjoy your stay.

Even though the prices are a bit high, they are worth it, since it's an upscale hotel, close to the airport. The rooms are big, with a spacious bathroom, a desk, and a large TV. The hotel has a bar and restaurant, where you can get a drink and something to eat. The breakfast is decent, but mostly British style warm plates (bacon, beans, scrambled eggs, mushrooms). There's salami and ham, along with some cheese, for a more continental breakfast. Also, there are several types of cereal and yoghurts.

The layout is very strange, it's like a maze, so getting to the room can be difficult until you memorize which turns to take. They have maps on the walls, with "you are here" signs on them, to help you navigate.

We booked this hotel to break up a long car journey at a convenient half-way point. We had stayed before, but didn't feel we had the best experience. This time was great! As a family (with 3 and 8 year olds), the pool facilities were amazing. The pool was superb. Our family room was spacious and the pull-out sofa was perfect for our eldest. We missed out on the restaurant last time due to it being taken over by the crowd from an Air Canada flight cancelation, so we revelled in the menu this trip. It was (way!) above our normal price range, but we had known this when we booked. That said, the food was of a very high standard. A great experience.

Our room was stifling with the four of us. The AC that we set down to a reasonable temperature seemed to undone by a timer that meant we roasted (not easily done in February). Not the best sleep.

Really positive stay. Friendly staff and a warm welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Great meal options on offer in the restaurant and really delicious good quality food. Complimentary EV charging point in the car park so really helpful having a full charge to set off with on our departure.

Only one can of water in the room for two people and was informed that this is the hotel policy. Would have liked a little more variety at breakfast eg. low sugar options for muesli, non dairy yoghurts and vegetarian alternatives for the hot food. However, there was a sufficient selection of hot food available so you didn't leave hungry and none of the above detracted from an enjoyable stay at the hotel.

It was such a lovely hotel with all the facilities you could need or want especially on the eve of your holiday being so close to the airport and the hotel and staff go above and beyond to help make your stay that more comfortable and with ease!

The executive lounge and on site restaurant were exceptional the on site spa was just what we needed to start of our holidays and just the treat we needed it helped so much with relaxation and getting a good nights rest what we needed as we needed to be up and out for 3 am but staying here made that feel so much easier and comfortable thank you so much to all the staff that helped out stay be all that much more amazing! The staff really compliment the hotel nicely with all the facilities as well you’d struggle to find better in this location .

Hotel in general very good. Perfect location for travelers from Manchester Airport. Clean, very friendly stuff. Just price for parking bit nonsense, It should be included in room price. 16 pound for one night...

Room was not ready on check in time, we came after 4pm, so they had allocated us to different room. I had requested baby cot bed, hotel approved request, but they forgot to put in room. Good thing I had pushchair with basket for sleeping in case. The most bad thing was that there was no lift. So to go out or even to restaurant we need to carry pushchair in hands through the stairs. Atleast we was in same floor as Leisure centre. So it was easier to access. Pool area was very nice. However we had great time.

It has everything we needed as a family and it was spotlessly clean and spacious rooms, very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and food was lovely in the restaurant & breakfast very nice. Staff also very friendly there too! Leisure club was great & very clean, warm and organised. Showers very hot in leisure club and kids enjoyed themselves tremendously

The shower head didn’t work in the hotel room, but everything else worked perfectly and it didn’t bother us as we showered in the leisure club.
