Good size double bed, quality tv with easy access to channels, good storage, and a bathroom with an actual bath, room service, and hotel restaurant were good quality and easy to order. Overall, as a solo traveller, this hotel is great as it is in close proximity to bus stops straight into the city centre and has shops, cafes, and takeaways in close proximity also Would definitely stay again when I next visit Manchester
The room could've done with having a fridge Even a small one to keep perishables The vending machines at the entrance Only took coins and cash There was a fire alarm, and we had to evacuate (somebody got stuck in lift) (Not the hotels fault. I felt like adding it because it was pretty funny)

The breakfast selections were well laid out. The unannounced 'Test? Fire alarm' took us and a few guests by surprise - some left so quickly, they locked themselves out of their rooms. The soup of the day was lovely, as was the chef's curry (chicken jalfrasi) and the portions were fine.
This was our 1st time to this hotel. If it is known by the staff that you need a code to drive out of the car park - then, make it an absolute MUST to give to anyone who says their "checking out"!! I.e. don't just take the key cards and say goodbye, leaving them stranded at the gate!! You need more plug points IN USER FRIENDLY LOCATIONS and at User friendly heights (i.e. not tucked by the door or beside the waste bins!).

It was very useful having a car park. Friendly service at the bar. My room and bathroom were excellent. I slept really well.
My car space was not wide enough. My door had to touch the car next to me to allow me out even though I had reversed 3 or 4 times to park exactly in the middle of the space. A few of the spaces were wider but another driver was complaining of the same problem. The bar snacks looked good on the wall menu but it was out of date. The choice was not so good as the old menu. Decafeinated coffee was available but only instant and not the best instant brand either.

Having found the details for the hotel a couple of years ago it has become our goto hotel for when we fly from Manchester. It is located near the airport and you can book taxis on a one way or return basis at a very reasonable price. If like us you usually land in the small hours there is a number to call for a private taxi to take you back to the hotel ( as the shuttle bus stops about 11pm) The rooms have always been clean and the beds are comfortable. They have a bar which does food and drink at reasonable prices. The parking is safe secure and good value for money.
If I had to nit pick - the car park is a bit tight.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. Location is perfect bus stop right outside to head into nearby towns and Piccadilly. Beds were extremely comfy. Ended up pay for an extra night due to loving it here so much. Would definitely like to stay again.
Only down fall to our stay was that the restaurant wasn’t open and had to pick up our food from the bar instead of room service but this wasn’t to much of an issue. Was a little bit expensive to add on 1 extra night but I get that we done this quite late on so this might of affected the price.

Ideal for the airport, taking a black cab from railway station costs£25,believe theres a bus but i choose not to mess around especially on a cold wet sunday evening at 7pm. shuttle service from hotel at 6am fir airport was £10 booked at reception, free early morning wake up call at chosen time, room as described, clean, comfortable sleep, tea & coffee, good shower, attatched resteraunt, menu mebe a little limited but adequate at £15-25,dunno if you can prebook a table, there was a que for resteraunt so i sat in bar area,my,food order took over half hour at 8pm with only 2 staff on,not overly busy either, there's a bar which I didn't use so no idea of prices. On a par with Premier hotel and similar. Prices also similar, convenient for airport
Nothing..it was about what I expected having stayed in similar hotels over the years..probably needs updating in some areas but then in a hotel this big then that's to be expected..not an issue just an observation

We paid £85 for a one night stay and an additional £9.95 for a breakfast in the morning. The room was modern, clean and nicely kitted out with complimentary tea and coffee. The breakfast was a buffet style with lots of varied options - including small cartons of alternative milk which was good for my friend who couldn’t have dairy. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Although this is not a problem with the hotel as such, we did struggle to sleep as the road and people outside were quite noisy at nighttime - only something to bear in mind if you’re a light sleeper. Also, upon arrival we were allowed to check in slightly early but as we went to our room there was man still fixing our shower. Not a problem for us, just a small lack of communication between staff at that moment.

We arrived in the evening after a flight back from the Canary Islands. We didn't need a meal so we had a quick drink in the bar before going to bed fairly early. The room was great, with a double & single bed, tea/coffee making facilities. Everything was spotlessly clean and we slept very well. The room was a bit warm so I took the duvet out of the duvet cover which made it more comfortable to sleep. We have already booked to stay again in January. Thank you to all the staff.
We had trouble parking the car, but then at reception we were told about the ramp going up to another floor of parking. That worked out really, and it was very easy to use the exit ramp when we left in the morning. During the evening we went down in the lift from floor 7 to the bar area. Although there are clear signs which say NO SMOKING, the lift stank of cannabis, which we did not want to inhale. I reported it to the receptionist and asked her to spray some air freshener in the lift. Not sure if this was done, as we went back up to Floor 7 in a different lift.

The room was spacious, the large windows opened to let in fresh air when it became too warm, the normal radiator was easy to control in the room. The bathroom was fresh. The bus stop for the airport and the centre of town was right outside the hotel and only £2 per journey. The food menu and bar was inexpensive and good. Overall, a very comfortable experience with everything on the doorstep or inside the hotel. Tesco Express 10 mins walk away.
The old moxy looking carpet in the room was the only thing that was disappointing about our stay.

Location was great for where we was going. The fact it was free parking was a bonus. The bar staff were so nice The room was nice apart from the dated bathroom Bed very comfortable The coffee/tea and biscuits facilities were very generous
The Main Guy at reception was EXCEPTIONATELY RUDE and he was the last time we stayed at the hotel There was no heating in the room so we had to call down to reception and was told to go and collect a portable radiator, I would have expected this to have been brought to the room given the circumstances.
