The location was good for trams, 10 minutes from the hotel. Lovely charactor property. The interior of the old part of the hotel still had all its charms of the past. Warm and welcoming when you entered the building. Lovely warm welcome from the staff. They were more than happy to answer questions or just chat.
The part of the hotel I stayed in didn't look that welcoming, it was a modern build. Once you entered the building, it was warm and very clean and a nice fresh smell. The room was very clean. The bed and and pillows were really comfortable and cosy. Bed linen and towels were lovely and white. I had a fridge and microwave. Kettle and plenty of tea and coffee. Had breakfast, a continental, plenty to choose from. There is a full English breakfast available. Overall it was amazing value for money, they could easily up there prices for what they are offering. Will definitely stay again.

Clean, comfortable room. Great shower - like, really great. Convenient off road parking. Local Co Op nearby for an end of night bottle of wine. Digital TV with more than ordinary terrestrial. Mini fridge in the room to keep my travel snacks cool.
Wi-fi was intermittent - I lost connection on my second night. A random smoke alarm (or other alarm) started ringing circa 11pm - but at least pleased to know the sounder worked. Breakfast was nice, but pricey - £20, and only one sausage on my full English.

The property has a character and life of its own . A manor house with its tasteful historical design unlike tasteless modern buildings of steel and glass . Plenty of parking. Easy access. My son and self were served breakfast by the lady at the restaurant, with personal human touch . This is rare in corporate hotel chains but always present in family owned hotels Ike this .
Looks a bit old and would do with a bit of a touch up

Staff are very friendly and helpful Although the decor is a little dated, everything seemed clean and tidy Good location, lots of shops and places for food nearby Plenty of parking, car park can be a little tight but it’s fine Building is interesting, some of the windows have a stained glass type design etc
I think the normal double rooms are quite small, fine for one night but I would suggest the superior doubles are much better for multiple night stays, they are also a lot quieter Some of the rooms could do with more plug sockets in general/plug sockets closer to the bed ideally It can be very warm, especially in the corridors as the big radiators always seem to be on

Decor was lovely, room was east to find, lots of storage space, light and airy and unsuited was nice, spacious and clean. Location was perfect for the metrolink. Staff were really really welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. Superb stay. Free parking too.
Was confused by the tea and coffee facilities in the room, as no kettle to them them with? But this was not a deal breaker as breakfast facilities down stairs were excellent.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, and both times have been a great experience. The service is consistently excellent. During my first stay, the lady at reception was especially kind she personally showed me to my room and took the time to answer all my questions. Her warm and helpful attitude really stood out. Overall, I’ve been very happy with each stay and would gladly come back again. Highly recommended!

I've stayed in this hotel alot normally I get the double standard room which are value for money. However this time I booked the superior double. Not so much value for money the TV didn't work at all. And the shower/bath seal was broken and flooded the bathroom floor!

We arrived from Ireland on an early morning flight to attend a wedding in the area, our check in wasn't to be until 1430. Jackie at reception and room staff sorted out both rooms for us for 1130 to allow us time to get ready which was so helpful as wedding was at 1530. Thanks again also to Jackie for arranging taxi's and advice about atm locations etc. We had breakfast next morning with plenty of food, tea, coffee etc and breakfast staff were very obliging
Nothing to complain about, the rooms were what we expected clean and warm location is good, what more do you want?

We had a very warm welcome, despite it being -6°C from Rashid. We found our room to be warm, clean and very well equipped. Raheem made us a very lovely breakfast and was extraordinarily attentive.
This property seems to get a bad rap, yes it is a little bit tired in parts but we had a perfect stay, that exceeded our expectations. It was excellent value for money and we would definitely return. Thank you

Bed sheets are clean, towels are clean, location of the hotel is good. Well yes there are some stains on carpets and some marks on the walls but the price is a reasonable. If you are looking for a Premier Inn quality then this hotel may not please you. As someone who is looking for a clean bedsheets, towels and a safe location, I can say this hotel is more than enough.
