Every staff member we had contact with was a credit to the hotel. The breakfast chef ensured the buffet items were prepped in small quantities and regularly refreshed, there was a mix-up with Booking. com billing but the reception staff resolved the situation promptly. I was impressed overall.

some public areas are a bit tatty as is the service room on the first floor, which is open to the guests. There is a poor repair on the stairs which has a screw head protruding on the tread which is a bit of a trip hazard. The

The staff here were exceptionally polite and helpful. Cannot fault them on anything. From checking in, to checking out, every interaction was smiley and nice. 10 The bed was comfortable and very clean. Apart from the normal one soft and one harder pillow that i didn't get here (both were medium) i cannot fault the bed. 9 The fact i (as a solo traveller) had a chain on my door was a surprise and perfect! Dusty door frames. Tops of all the doors were very dusty. But small matter over the fact the rest of the place was very clean. -3 Could not have a bath! The plug kept pushing it's way out of the plughole so the water drained and didn't fill the bath. Tried several times and gave up and had a shower. -7 No room service at all. -6 People standing just outside the main entrance smoking, so i had to walk through them. -9 18/40

Noisy people next room at 2 in the morning

The staff were phenomenal. They were courteous and efficient and very accommodating. The room we had was very comfortable and roomy. Excellent bed provided us with an excellent sleep. There was a good selection for breakfast, and the food was well prepared. Nice ambiance in the restaurant and, again, excellent staff. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to the Altrincham Interchange where you have access to all modes of transport. We have been to Cresta Court before, and we will definitely be back.

The restaurant is closed for mid-day meals.

Easy to access by public transport & short safe walk, after midnight,from Manchester Piccadilly. Warm welcome, even late at night. Comfortable room. Great buffet breakfast. Perfect for city break. I was able to have a lovely walk along Bridgewater Way towards Manchester the next day. The best hangover cure, & inspiration for the working week. I'll definitely return to BW Cresta Court.

Hotel is perfect. Altrincham is nice. I hope Best Western, will ask Altrincham Station to improve. I do not expect to have to return to my hotel, when in any town centre, simply to use toilet. Altrincham Station toilets close at 3.30pm on a Sunday.

We stayed one night at the Best Western hotel in Altringham as we were meeting friends nearby. We chose the hotel because it has a very good amount of (free) car parking and also was within walking distance of the Metro station that we planned to use the following day. Customer parking here is valid for 24 hours and so we had time after our breakfast to travel to another appointment in Manchester using the Metro before returning, collecting the car and moving on to our next destination. In summary, despite an unexpected delay checking in and having to haul two suitcases up two flights of stairs, our stay was not an unpleasant one. The hotel met the criteria for our visit in that it had ample parking spaces and was close to Altringham Metro station, being able to leave the car in the car park whilst we visited Manchester was also a bonus. We both slept well and the breakfast kept us going well into Saturday. Would certainly consider visiting here again if we were in the area.

Arriving late afternoon on a Friday in August, we were first told that the hotel had no record of our booking. Apparently, the booking system has been 'upgraded' during the year and any bookings made in the early part of 2023 while not ‘lost’ are not to hand and need to be ‘found’ in the registry. One member of staff was struggling to cope with this reoccurring problem not helped by the subsequent arrival of a coach party. After about an hour’s delay, we were given the pass key to our room on the second floor though unfortunately the lifts were not working either, (though they were operational when we checked out the following day).

I didnot enjoy my stay bcos I found out on getting to the hotel on Friday night that I was double booked and was unable to reach booking. Com to rectify this and refund the 2nd booking to my account . This really ruined my time of the The celebration I went for up till now I am still at a loss as to how to claim this double booking money Janet komolafe

Staff especially Danielle was very good

The hotel was dog friendly so we were able to bring our furry friend with us for our stay when we were visiting family and friends. The staff were really nice and the location was very close to a dog park

Not the hotel fault at all but the main road outside was quite dangerous if walking your dog - there’s only traffic lights on one side of the road and cars constantly coming from the side without the lights. Like I say not the fault of the hotels and if driving not a problem

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful, it was the perfect location for what we needed. The room was huge and shower worked perfectly

My only complaint was the heat of our room, the radiators were off, the windows were open and even with the massive fan provided (which was a big bonus) it was still absolutely stifling which made for an uncomfortable night
