Everything! From the. Moment that I arrived I was greeted by Jan the owner who escorted me to my room and. Explained about the WiFi and also facilities in the local area. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The shower room was clean and inviting with plenty of towels provided. The hair and body shampoo was quality. The breakfast was vast and comprehensive. The setting and grounds were immaculate and well tended. Taking coffee in the morning sunshine was particularly pleasant. Car parking was adequate for all the guests. Finally, the hosts, David and Jan, made my 3 days visit some of the best hotel stays that I have experienced. I would highly recommend and hope to return in the near future. A marvellous expererience.

Absolutely nothing.

We loved our little stop over at Ash farm! The vintage boutique decor and countryside feel made this stay exceptional! Never have we been offered complimentary sherry nightcaps , lovely gesture ! We had a 4 poster room with a lovely view of the garden, in which we had a lovely nights sleep. The hosts were lovely , very welcoming. I can’t recommend ash farm highly enough. We had to skip breakfast as we had an early start, which was a shame as it smelled lovey.

My only complaint , if I had to make one was that the beautiful cats didn’t want to come and say hello and get a fuss . I was highly disappointed as they really beautiful :)

Fantastic location. This B&B is close to M6/M56 and set in lovely grounds with parking at the back. The property is in a peaceful village location surrounded by lovely walks including the Dunham Massey NT estate. Wide variety of options (hot and cold) for breakfast and welcome tea/coffee/biscuits in the bedroom along with bottles of water and decanter of sherry. Next door to The Swan with Two Nicks village pub which serves excellent meals.

One tiny issue that could easily be corrected is to use conditioner/tumble drier for bathroom towels which were very stiff to use!

Lovely house with beautiful grounds surrounding. The host were friendly & welcoming. Nice little touches with biscuits & sherry! Lovely big bed, ample parking & nice little boozer next door. The selection for breakfast was vast & of high quality

Room is a tad small & not much room around the bed, The shower was powerful, so a mat is needed due to screen only fitting half the shower basin. I feel the continental breakfast should have been included in the price. Also, the approach needs looking at.. wasn't really a buffet as you couldn't help yourself to certain items, so ended up being alittle awkward having to request items like porridge & toast. The host was lovely just not an ideal set up

Location is excellent, quiet, rural. Evening meals not available but great pub and decent food, beer and wine next door. Plenty of walks. Complimentary decanter of Sherry, biscuits, coffee, a great selection of teas in the room. Lounge and honesty bar, large garden. Staff extremely obliging. House has loads of character and the bed was enormous. Breakfast selection very comprehensive from cornflakes to kippers via full English.

Nothing

Beautiful location, beautiful hotel, inside and out. Nice pieces of art on the walls. Friendly staff who were extremely helpful. Lovely gardens. Great pub right next door and Dunham Massey a very short walk away, which I haven't been to before. Breakfast was great and I even tried the vegetarian black pudding and liked it (don't like regular black pudding). The coffee at breakfast was premium tasting. Great selection of teas, coffee and biscuits in the room, plus bottled water. Room warm. TV allowed us to login to streaming services (Disney+). I would love to stay again and have recommended to family and friends.

Nothing, everything was great

We had a lovely room with a HUGE comfy bed. The room itself had a very nice cottagey feel but had an excellent modern ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was amazing but could have fed a family of 4 rather than just the 2 of us! The cottage is in a good location with a decent pub next door and easy walking distance to the Dunham Massey (National Trust stately home, gardens and park).

It was all great!

I loved the living room with the help yourself to a wine bottle - that was a nice touch as we had travelled a long distance and did not get time to go to the shops. I loved the bed - I have never slept in a bed so large and so comfortable. The shower was excellent. The breakfast was amazing and the best eggs Benedict I have ever tasted

The weather - everything else was perfect

Great location, with pub next door for evening meal. Tranquil setting with plenty of parking. Our room was small but had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It had its own entrance door to the garden, which had plenty of seats and a large grassed area. Breakfast was exceptional and cooked to order. The choice of cereals, fruit and pastries was 5* and fresh coffee was made to order as well.

Pleasant rural location, with good walking from the door. And a pub next door which had excellent food. The hosts were delightful, the rooms - both bedroom and public rooms - had lots of character and were very comfortable. All mod cons in a traditional old setting. Lots of thoughtful additions. A lovely outdoor space to sit.

Nothing, all perfect!
