The staff were incredible, the ladies in the evening when we arrived helped me with my bags as I had a rather worn out little baby. They also came with wee toys to entertain him at the table while we waited for food, which came very quickly & the battered fish was delicious. George in the morning for breakfast was lovely, his baby girl is a similar age, so was sweet to have someone so understanding and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely delicious (the previous night I'd stayed in a fancy hotel on our road trip, not impressed) Casa Mere beat their breakfast 100x over, just so so yummy! The mushrooms were on point & they poached an egg for my wee boy... & he demolished it all, so I'm taking that as a good review from him too! Room & bed were fab & very comfy, as was the sofa bed thing, super soft. I was able to move that towards the bed so that i could safely co-sleep with my toddler too, very handy! Would definitely recommend!!!

I couldn't work the fan (but it is a freakish heat wave across the uk) they can't control the weather though!

The hotel was very good value. For one night, the hotel is great, and the staff friendly and helpful. My first day I had a freshly cooked breakfast which was lovely. I would strongly recommend for very short stays.

I stayed for four nights, and would only recommend the hotel for one night stays. My room had no natural light and was tiny. Breakfast finishes too early in the week, and I missed it one day, food was cancelled one night because there was a large group dining. When you come and go in the evening, you have no choice but to walk through a congregation of the locals at the bar, which is uncomfortable, especially as the evening progresses.

The breakfast was poor quality! But I was very impressed with the help and attentiveness of your staff member Angela the customer service provided by Angela was second to none and there was nothing more Angela could have done during our stay she was beyond exceptional for this reason! I also must comment that the one night we stayed Angela was also continuously working cleaning and carrying out her duties, but also checking that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable which it was especially because of Angela! I would definitely recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again, especially aslong as Angela is an employee at your hotel, I would like you to pass on our heartfelt thanks from us all and would hope she receives some recognition for her amazing customer service!!!! Thanks Angela you were the best and we all enjoyed our stay because of you! Caryn x

Staff all really friendly & helpful. Bed was comfortable. Able to eat at hotel, although food selection was limited, food was good. Convenient for the show we were attending at Tatton Park.

No fan in room. Sofa bed had a big dip in the middle - couldn't sit on it. Room not serviced - not too bothered about that as we were only there 2 nights - but toilet paper ran out (can't see in the holders until it's gone!)

It'd was such a straightforward stay with my 3 girls. No hassle, great service and food. Would 100% stay again. Latter mentioned issues didn't get in the way at all, just some things that would have made it better :)

Unfortunately, we found an old sock under a bed and the remote control wasn't connected to the TV. We then found another remote under the bed as we were packing to leave- this one worked fine. No Do not disturb sign. No lock on the inside of door Also the WhatsApp bot was not great with some of the information being inaccurate.

The hotel was ideal as it was 5 minutes drive from our event we were attending. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the pub attached (The Kilton) was great. We have booked again for June next year.

We were disappointed in the booked breakfast the next morning, would have been nice to be asked what we did and didn't want on it and the quantity wasn't that good, could have done with a bit more.

The parking tickets x 3 that my daughter and son came for a meal and picked me up when I was trying to get my head around sorting my brothers funeral. Although speaking to member of staff on the telephone Mo was very helpful and will be sorted but it would be better to not have the extra hassle. Suggestion to have a sign near the door or tills saying if you are a guest parking tickets will be issued if you do not put in your regristration. it would be less hassle for your staff and also customers.

Room was very clean and tidy. What made the stay great was the staff- I was greeted by such a warm welcome from George (FOH manager) on reception and what a lovely guy! He was very professional yet so attentive. Travelling solo for work as a female can be quite daunting but George really made me feel so welcome and at ease.

The room smelt a bit damp but other than that it was full refurbed and clean.

We, a group of 4 couples, were very dubious having read recent reviews on the hotel but upon arrival 4 hours before check in as going to a festival close by the staff were fab letting us check in early, although we couldn't access our rooms so early. We had a drink in the pub while waiting for our transport which was a lovely quaint little pub. We returned at 10pm, still quite worried about what we would find.... what we got was a big room, clean, comfy bed, lovely bathroom with a big walk in shower in our room on the ground floor, our other friends on the first floor all had baths with showers over. Nothing like we were expecting from the awful reviews! The next morning we all purchased breakfast in the restaurant at the pub. It was £10.50pp and had everything you could want... toast, a huge variety of cereal, fruit juices, tea, coffee and pastries all help yourself then they took an order for cooked breakfast, again a lovely selection of full cooked, hot porridge,fresh omelettes, which were huge... and more. We were very impressed and it was red hot and really tasty. All in all, it was a lovely stay, the staff were really friendly, the room was much more than adequate for the price and the breakfast was well worth the money! We would all stay again if we were visiting the area.

We liked it all, but If I had to be picky, the shower wasn't very powerful although it was a huge walk in shower and the bathroom looked very newly done, and whilst you could see the hotel was being refurbished, I hope they would change the carpet, which looked a little old... but that really is me being fussy. But for £53 a night, we got much more than we expected!

We booked our stay at casa mere to simply sleep in the room and have accommodation near to a main road off the motorway. The stay was comfortable and good value for money, we slept well on the bed, didn't have any issue with cleanliness or dust in the room, whenever we spoke to the staff they were helpful and catered to any issues we had. Would fully recommend staying here.

The room was a bit dated with older features and could do with some minor amendments to freshen it up. The outside had rubbish, overgrown hedges and needed a bit of tlc.
