What an absolute gem of a b&b. Fantastic hosts Michelle and Paul run a really good place here. Facilities are great and they provide so much that you just don't get at other b&bs. Your own sitting room as well as the bedroom with ensuite. Ensuite has a large bath and a separate spacious shower. We had a personal greeting from the hosts, welcome fizz and our breakfasts suited us perfectly with a wide selection of breads, spreads, cereals, fruit, berries and yogurts all waiting for us to help ourselves when we were ready to. Located on the edge of the national trust Dunham Massey estate it's a short trip in to Altrincham where it's an easy tram ride in to Manchester. You can visit the city and towns locally before relaxing in a peaceful countryside setting to finish the day. I would highly recommend this lovely b&b and the fabulous Michelle and Paul as hosts. Yes I've mentioned them twice, they are that good! We came for training courses in Altrincham but we will be back for leisure trips in the future.

Breakfast was superb! The fridge was well-stocked with prepared grapefruit, fruit juice, milk, butter and marmalade/jams. These were replenished every day. The pantry offered a wide choice of cereals and porridge and a selection of fresh bread every day. Upon request, our hosts even gave me a small pot of 'Marmite'. Then they offered us a microwavable container to cook eggs and fresh eggs arrived every day! Coffee, tea and sugar were always available. Our bedroom was huge, with a really comfy king-size bed. There was ample wardrobe and drawer space, bedside lights and tables. There was an enormous en suite with both a very large bath and a shower, and piles of fluffy white towels. Even dressing gowns were available! With the door open between the two rooms, we had both early morning light and evening sunsets! Again, we could make hot drinks in our bedroom. Unexpectedly, but delightfully, we also had a living room of our own downstairs, accessed directly from our own front door. This room was easily big enough to have a sofa and armchair, plus a kitchen table and chairs, right by the window, looking over the front garden, with flowers, birds and views over the fields. This was a lovely place to enjoy our ample breakfasts! There was a large TV and a useful coffee table. We also had access to a downstairs loo/utility room, where we could refill the kettle. There were two outside spaces where we could sit, with a cuppa. The first was a large bench, with table, in the front garden, directly outside our sitting room and the other was in the back gravel area, with views over the fields. The location was perfect for us: Speke Hall, RHS Bridgewater, Arley Hall & Tatton Park all within easy reach. We could walk to an excellent pub! Best of all were our hosts, Paul and Michelle. They were so friendly, wonderfully hospitable, always helpful, very kind and great fun to spend time with.

Absolutely nothing could have been better! This was the best B'n'B we've ever stayed in. We really hope to go again.

What a fabulous place to stay. Michelle and Paul are incredibly welcoming and friendly. As are their happy dogs. So nice to have our own, cosy living space and garden as well as a very comfortable bedroom and en suite with bath and shower. We were provided with a plentiful supply and variety of breakfast goodies. We were able to walk to two pubs, Swan with two Nicks and through the Dunham Massey estate to the Axe and Cleaver. Both very good. Michelle and Paul share their home and their kindness with their guests and all this, along with the location, makes for an excellent place to stay. Thank you - we had a lovely stay.

What a fabulous place! Great location and the hosts Paul and Michelle are wonderful. So friendly and a glass of Prosecco with a strawberry on arrival. They really have thought of everything and we even had our own lounge! Comfiest bed we have stayed in away from home. Exceeded our expectations and a great pub/restaurant 5 mins walk away x

What’s not to like? We loved everything about our stay and our hosts

The hosts were a very genuine and caring couple, and went out of their way to make my stay just right. I like a h to bath and this was a good feature for me as many places don’t have enough hot water. The breakfast was left out for me to have at convenience. They gave me a welcome glass of fizz and were just genuinely nice people.

A peaceful and very convenient location. Our hosts had supplied everything we could possibly need. We liked the space and having a separate lounge / kitchen.

The central heating wasn’t working properly and our room was cold. We could not work the blind in the bathroom.

The beautiful location within NTVillage of Little Bollington. The wonderful reception from Michelle & Paul and the faultless way they looked after us. The well appointed bedroom was large with a proper ensuite bathroom and we had the use of the comfy lounge cum breakfast room- perfect! Lots of maps & interesting reading material. Good walking from the door straight into NTDunham Massey along the Bollin Valley Way & Bridgewater Canal - perfect. Even several hostelries for evening meals only a few minutes on foot. In truth a magical property in a wonderful position but the highlight for us were our lovely hosts Michelle & Paul!

This is difficult since we had such a super weekend and though we found no difficulty sleeping at night . A lie in may have been problematic with the occasional low flying aircraft heading for Manchester Airport.This was certainly not a problem for us as we had 3 good nights sleep.

Lovely quiet location, very friendly and genuine hosts, who were lovely to chat to. Excellent facilities, lovely room and very comfy bed, which allowed my Wife and I to have a relaxing sleep on both nights. No hesitation in returning to the property and would highly recommend.

Nothing, everything spot on!

Very good location. Excellent arrangement giving us independence. Everything that we required was available and more.

That we couldn't stay longer. I'd have liked to been able to state "very good" but it's not an option. I would normally think " excellent" for a hotel with all facilities ie pool, gym etc.

Lovely location. Very homely and relaxed 2 pubs in easy walking distance. Close to knutsford, Manchester.Altringham close enough to the Airport if you have an early flight. Paul and Michelle the hosts were lovely and welcoming. Their 3 little dogs were very friendly.
