THE ROOM WAS NICE AND CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE HOTEL IS IN A GREAT LOCATION IN ITS GROUNDS . i LOVE THE OLD MANOR HOUSE LOOK AND DESIGN . i ENJOYED THE QUALITY OF THE BREAKFAST AND THE RESTAURANT STAFF WERE WONDERFUL.. THE BARSTAFF WERE GREAT. i DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO USE THE SPA BUT IT LOOKED AMAZING . THE CHECK IN STAFF WERE VER PROFESSIONAL. I WAS THERE FOR A REST AFTER AN OPERATION AND I HAD A VERY GOOD REST. DEFINITELY A PLACE I'D LOVE TO VISIT AGAIN.

JUST A COUPLE OF MISTAKES WHICH WERE RECTIFIED IMMEDIATELY - THE ROOM ALLOCATED HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED FROM THE PREVIOUS OCCUPANT WHO MUST HAVE BEEN A SLOB! RECEPTION IMMEDIATELY GAVE AN UPGRADE. iN THE MORNING THERE WAS NO RECORD OF MY BREAKFAST RESEVATION - OBVIOUSLY THAT HAD BEEN ATTATCHED TO THE PREVIOUS ROOM - BUT AGAIN THE RECEPTION QUICKLY RESOLVED THE MISTAKE - SO I COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE.

I especially enjoyed the building (exquisite) and the grounds were also fantastic. Somewhere I would really enjoy getting lost in! I was lucky enough to be able to book a suite on this occasion and it did not dissapoint. The price I paid was more than worth it. In fact I’d say good value for money. The room was very spacious with lovely touches throughout from luxury hot chocolate, fluffy bath robes and slippers, not forgetting a large electric fan which I really appreciated as it was boiling hot that day!

There wasn’t much I didn’t like! The food is very reasonably priced and the quality rather outstanding, however I would hope for slightly cheaper drink prices over all but no one can have it all now can they?! :)

The breakfast was not bad, it had both a cold and warm choice so I was happy with that. The spa and other facilities were very nice and exceeded my expectations. In addition, the staff members were able to address my requests and have actually exceeded my expectations on those requests. This was a very special occasion, and indeed the hotel did a really good job to accommodate us. Overall, I believe the facilities are up to standard, and we would happily go back soon.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be a really big party going on. Children were shouting in the corridors at night, and we were not really able to get some proper sleep. We understand that this was probably out of the control of the staff, but this had carried on during breakfast, where the children would play with the cold food that was on the buffet. I guess this could be avoided by having a staff member around in such situations. The above paragraph is raw feedback on the "not so good" aspects of our trip. However please don't misunderstand this review. Our trip was really nice and we look forward to coming back, therefore, the pros definitely outweigh the cons.

The properties incredible. Outstanding beauty in the middle of what feels like nowhere. The decor is just incredible and Christmas exceptionally decorated. My friend and I chose to create a new tradition this year. To collate all of our Christmas’s presents, book a one night spa break in a twin room with spa access and it was just remarkable. And it’ll be a forever tradition going forward. The staff were incredibly supportive and lots of other customers were commenting when we’d got talking to them what a fantastic idea it was that we chose to make the most out of what would be a chore and last minute to organised enjoyable memories. The spa is remarkable. Incredibly grand, lots of seating areas. Lots of experiences to choose from. It was super quiet when we arrived and it was thoroughly enjoyable.

The room was quite dusty. Ceilings, cobwebs in corners and the floor hasn’t been hoovered. These are minor little house keeping improvements but they didn’t impact the stay we had whatsoever. on the main tables but not a kill-joy or anything No towels were provided when we arrived at the spa due to them running out. In addition to that, the changing rooms were extremely unclean. Robes, towels, slippers, flip flops were just everywhere. It was not what we expected at all given how beautiful the property and spa facilities were.

I was very kindly upgraded at check in. The room was large, very clean and had everything I felt I could need. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff I did meet were friendly. Good location and close to Wilmslow which was lovely. I didn't use the spa/gym facilities or dine, so I can't comment on these.

I was told that breakfast ended later at the weekend, at 11am, so went down at 10.30am to be told that actually the timings changed last week and it now ended at 10am! I also find it surprising that breakfast isn't included in the booking. There are lots of signs around asking people to be quiet, but I could hear chattering in the corridors and outside even in the early hours.

Suite was excellent but thought filter coffee would be available. Cleanliness was excellent and Elemis products in room were good. Spa was excellent with an enormous outside jacuzzi. Breakfast adequate but little selection if arrived close to end of breakfast.

Tried to pay for meal against room, my debit card had been registered with reception. However, the a’lcarte restaurant would not accept this method. Also the description of suites says they all have good views. My room was over the roof and could only see a small, patch of green countryside in the distance.

One night stay in a twin room which was clean and comfortable shared with a friend. View overlooking the golf course. Didn't opt for the breakfast option as wanted an early morning check out. Reason for our stay was a works Xmas party as we were booked in the dining room with the lots of others. A great night had by all and the disco was amazing after the festive meal.

A little over expensive room rate without breakfast included. Car park was quite a walk from the main reception.

Beautiful Hotel, the room was perfect, the location of this property was beautiful, and the spa was amazing 👏. Great value for money. Staff were pleasant and friendly too. Mentioned our concerns about cold breakfast we were served and was refunded, which was amazing. Excellent stay for my birthday. Can't wait to return.

Excellent building with great grounds and services

During our stay my car got hit in the car park by another car I know this as my car notified me of the time it was hit and then noticed the damaged. Reported this to reception they took pictures and ensured us we would be contacted, we heard nothing. Even after numerous calls to find out what was being done still heard nothing not even a courtesy call to say they couldn’t identify the person who did this. The stay was absolutely perfect but this left a massive sour taste and don’t think we will be back.
