Comfortable bed, great looking bathroom, big tv, good lighting, usb plugs,

Toilet struggled to flush, toilet seat didn’t fit and the lid slammed down, thats a 20 pound simple fix, very weak shower, Heavy bathroom door that slams shut on its own, it nearly caught my hand once and would have done damage, I could hear doors slam in nearby units. No air conditioning, we opened the window at night to fix the stuffiness. The temperature was good because it was a cool night. I wouldn’t want to stay there in a heat wave. You know about the problem because I noticed a portable fan on the floor

We usually stay at one of the onsite cheapest range hotels at Manchester . Tried this one as alternative for return flight. It’s great value and a real bargain Big ,clean ,comfy , well furnished and equipped to high standard modern rooms , pub onsite serving good food and really kind and efficient staff ( our flight back was delayed so food service was finished but they provided sandwiches and couldn’t have been more helpful ) it’s only ten minute drive from Jetparks Ringway ( which has shuttle to & from terminals every 15 minutes ) and room only cost is same as cheapest basic room on the airport . Highly recommended

Nothing to dislike.

Convenient location as a festival we were attending was only down the road, clean and spacious rooms, very comfy bed, lovely pub next to the hotel and easy check in/check out. Managed to get the room ready way earlier than expected which was really handy!

Felt like staff could’ve been a bit friendlier and a bit more attentive but we thought this may have been due to them running the pub at the same time as the hotel so understood they were busy. Also feel as though it would be good if they had a mini fridge in the room as it was annoying having to drink warm water.

Great location, next door to a lovely pub, Sainsbury’s is around the corner and it’s a short walk to restaurants. We had a roast dinner in the Pub and it was great. The hotel is fairly basic but the rooms are big, quite modern. Lovely staff working in the hotel, helped us a lot during this particular stay. Thank you.

There’s not always somebody working on the front desk due to pub duties but the staff we met are lovely. However, they do have a phone that you call to alert them for any needs and can be there in seconds.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. In fact, I stayed there twice before flying back to NZ. The manager, Chris, was friendly and super helpful a real credit to the hotel. My room was clean and spacious, and I especially loved the deep walk-in shower. The location is perfect close to all the neat shops, bars, and restaurants. So plenty to see and do. I will be happy to return again next year.

Carpet needed a clean. In hallways.

Room was good, the only problem was they didn’t replaced the tea/coffee, had to ask for more at reception. Bed was really comfortable.

Reception, when we arrived there was no one in reception, a note left on desk asking you to call the restaurant to ask for reception! It was awaiting until the lady came! Again when we wanted extra things for the room we had to wait a while for the receptionist to come. Although the receptionist was lovely.

The staff here are amazing, really friendly and helpful. We had a very stressful experience at the airport and 13 of us (including kids and babies) needed rooms at short notice. The lady on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, she shorted rooms, cots etc without any fuss and sorted us a section of the restaurant near the fire so that we could get warmed up and relax. The food was fabulous! Really lovely place!

Nothing negative at all

The hotel is perfectly located in the Wilmslow area, with the town around the corner, places to eat, cinema, nice nearby parks to walk and relax in. The room was perfectly clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable and I slept really well.

A minor thing really, but on the freeview tv on the tv guide list, the channels may have appeared but the programmes didn't.

Modern, clean and spacious rooms with decent bathroom and shower. Exceeded our expectations. Love the location in Wilmslow and close to all facilities. Excellent to have a car park too. We enjoyed breakfast in the pub in the morning and like the bright and well decorated interiors. The staff were very friendly and welcoming too. Definitely will stay again when visiting family.

Nothing not to like

Excellent location, easy train ride into Manchester, easy drive to the Peak District, and having Sainsbury's right next to it was very convenient for us as we like to just have a light breakfast in our room. Spacious room with much better lighting than in many hotels. The room (22) was very quiet, despite being over the main entrance and next to the elevator (we never heard it). Plenty of parking spaces. Wi-fi was strong, once we'd managed to log in to it.

Only minor things:- - Logging on to the free wi-fi was a performance. - The TV reception was poor - picture kept breaking up. We watched on iPads instead. - The fan in the bathroom was ineffective at dispersing condensation. - The corridors of the hotel seemed exceptionally warm, but inside our room was fine.
