Room was clean, large and had a bath, great for getting a proper rest before an early flight.

Airport shuttle bus was fully booked already at the time we wanted (6am). Given the main function of the hotel is to get people to flights, there could be more shuttles at peak time. Or, reception could explain more clearly just how short the distance is, since we could have just walked and had a little longer in bed!

Dry convenient for the airport - walked from the train station to the hotel but this is not an easy route but only took 15 minutes. Got the excellent free shutttle back to airport the next morning and all was very smooth, great driver! Hotel was clean and comfortable and the bed was excellent. We are in the restaurant and were very pleased with the quality of the food and very friendly waiting staff.

Receptionist ignored me when it was my turn to check in ( only one person in front of me, it wasn’t busy) and walked to the other end of reception desk waited for Cabin Crew who had just come thru the door and proceeded to check them all in ! Had to wait 10 mins for another receptionist to come out of the office to attend to me !

Room was excellent although the bathroom was a bit shabby. Shuttle bus was perfect. Breakfast was very good.

Quite a lot of noise in the corridor, even in the night. Signs up asking guests to be quiet would be welcomed.

The first thing was rung the number to get a lift…answered promptly and only waited about five minutes… the bus driver was so kind… a real gentleman… he certainly is the face of the hotel and does a excellent job… the breakfast choose hot and cold was really good… again good staff…explaining how the system worked… marvellous value for money

I did go for some food in the restaurant early afternoon… staff again very good… had to wait for quite a while… disappointed… ordered fish and chips… nothing special at all… cost l thought expensive for what l had… the restaurant was almost empty… perhaps that why

The location to the airport with the shuttle is the reason I usually stay here. The staff are very very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy! The shuttle drivers were above and beyond in their kindness.

The room was ground floor right adjacent to the outside area where everyone smokes and the shuttles and cabs come to pick up. The room was stuffy so we were forced to open the window, this was not in any way quiet or comfortable. For the money compared to other hotels close by big disappointment.

Everything! The staff were really accommodating, being a bit of an airport geek I asked whether our booked twin room faced the runway/terminal - I'd didn't. However, the manager gave us a free upgrade to a bigger room with two double beds overlooking the terminal on a high floor so we could see lots of planes coming in and out. It was great. The beds were super comfy, the shower lovely and the room very clean. The bar and restaurant staff were lovely and welcoming and the food was good. Breakfast was really nice with a good range of options and fried or poached eggs were cooked to order.. It was a 5 minute walk from the station and the hotel also offered a free shuttle service to the station and all terminals. This was the best airport hotel iive stayed in and would definitely do it again.

It is very convenient and close to the airport especially if we have early morning flights. Airport transfer is available and staff are friendly. Checking in was a breeze.

The airconditioner was not working and we were not informed of this. It was only mentioned after a phonecall was made and they mentioned coz it is a old hotel. I still believe something could be done as it can be pretty warm during summer. Nonetheless 2 fans were provided for a big room and a family of 4. Basic needs like toothbrushes and toothpaste were not available. However towels, bodywash and shampoo were provided.The interior of the room is a bit dated.

The hotel was excellent for our requirements. Check in was efficiently managed, and the staff were very friendly. The provision of a shuttle service from and to the airport terminals was much appreciated service.

Two things. First, it would have helped if there had been some guidance about the method of operation of the air conditioning. Second, the idea of an on-line check in is good, but there were features on this system that I couldn't understand. Why, for instance, did the system abort the check in process because my mobile number had 12 digits, which is the UK standard.

After driving for four hours, being delayed by rush hour traffic, and then returning my hire car, I was hot, stressed and tired. I was greeted at reception with a welcoming smile and allocated my room on the 6th floor. The bliss of being able to run a nice hot bath - indescribable. I did not make use of the restaurant or room service so cannot comment on that. I did book the morning shuttle which was very efficient and helpful. The bed was high (and I’m vertically challenged), however, I slept soundly and there was no noise disturbance whatsoever. A big bonus was being able to have the window ajar through the night. Well done for that.
