We had an excellent stay at the Tribe hotel Manchester Airport. The location was just a minutes walk to the sky walk, which gives you access to terminals 1,2 and 3. We flew from terminal one, which was about 6 mins walk. The hotel is new, and the rooms were brilliant for a one night stay over. The extra large double bed was very comfy as it is brand new. We didn't have dinner, but the buffy breakfast was delicious.

The parking was slightly confusing as when you come off the small roundabout to the hotel, the sign said Staff only area 2, which is confusing, ignore the sign and follow the road to the left where the carpark is. Ignore the carpark directly off the roundabout infront..

This is the airport hotel you need!!! It was the usual early-start-sleepover, so all we wanted was good food and a comfy, quiet sleep. And TRIBE excelled at all three. The room was totally silent, the bed was lovely, and our meal was outstanding. Didn't do breakfast so can't comment on that. (We stayed in a different airport hotel last time, won't name them here, but they totally failed at these basic requirements... sigh) We even got a loan of the hotel luggage trolley, cos one of our suitcase wheels fell off (dont judge but it's quite old). And a heads up.. the restaurant closes at 9.30 pm and it was REALLY busy. So consider booking ahead if you need food, don't be tempted to wing it. Nice buzzy bar to hang out in, too. And the best bit : it's right next to the train station and an easy peasy walk to all the terminals,. Only took us 10 mins to T3, although we do tend to walk quite fast. Highly recommended, esp at this price point

Ultra modern and interesting decor. Really attractive public spaces. Welcoming and pleasant reception staff. Lovely quiet room 135 overlooking the outdoor seating area. Clear signposting from railway station and only a couple of minutes walk.

The room was clean but my bed sheet which was in fact freshly laundered, still had pinprick bloodstains left on it which obviously hadn’t been spotted by the housekeepers. The black paintwork in the bathroom area needed cleaning on the door. The black skirting boards need paintwork refreshing. The ultra modern design hasn’t provided any space in the bathroom to put toiletries and cosmetics down except for the very narrow sink rim but bathroom lighting and mirrors were very good. The storage and desk in the room was also ample. Excellent tea and coffee provision.

Staff very friendly & location great for both the airport & the train station. The hotel has a lovely, comfortable atmosphere. I knew I had booked a room with an internal view, but it did make the room a little dark & was weird not knowing what the weather was like before leaving the hotel. They also managed by gluten intolerance well at breakfast

Having stayed for 3 nights, breakfast on the last day, the Saturday, was much more chaotic & seemed under staffed. The tables were not cleared or fully prepared, one of the coffee machines wasn't working & a queue to be seen to a table, even though it wasn't that busy. Also, small cups rather than mugs, both in the room & at breakfast, was frustrating. But generally I was comfortable there & will stay again in the future

Very easy going hotel with great vibe and great bedrooms and fantastic affordable food cooked in a viewable kitchen. Love to use it the night before we fly away.

Okay, Very disappointed with the onsite parking which has changed from our last visit from a ticket given on arrival to placing your registration on a computer so the cameras can recognise your car and open the barrier. You are given 15 minutes to park outside, register, receive your room key and move your car on the threat of being booked. This we did and were refused entry twice having to back up together with queuing cars behind and return to the hotel because the registration hadn’t been put on the computer. Eventually I was told to press a button on the side of the barrier to alert someone in the hotel to lift the barrier by remote. Worse still was the fact this happened next day on leaving! Hotel brilliant parking very poor😱

We loved the location. Being an airport hotel, everybody seemed happy and the vibe was great in the hotel.The staff were brilliant, attentive, to our every need and helpful. Nothing was too much, catered for our every need. One of the best hotel's , we've ever stayed in and again made our stay in Manchester for our first ever visit , a truely memorable and fantastic experience. Gotta mention Roxanna and Denzil, the staff members on the reception desk . A credit to your hotel. They were very welcoming ,informative and just fun loving people. I would come back to the hotel, just to see their smiling faces. Thank-you, once again to all your wonderful staff , for making our visit to your great city an awesome and unforgettable memory. Everything was great

The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the the airport arrivals which is convenient if you only have small bags. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially James who got us a table at the busy buffet breakfast hall when we arrived, probably one of the best buffet breakfast I've ever had by the way. They let us check in 2 hours early free of charge because our room was ready which was nice. The room was spotless, quite small but we didn't mind as we were only staying for one night. I'd definitely stay here again.

The drinks at the bar were very expensive and they only offered pizzas when we went down to see if we could get lunch. There's no shops within walking distance, we had to walk 30 mins to the nearest shopping centre in Wythenshawe. I suppose thats expected with an airport hotel.

We had the best and most hospitable stay. I wanted to specifically write about Laidy. She was simply OUTSTANDING. Professional, kind and so wonderfully personal in every respect. We came back specifically because of Laidy. On our first visit, my Mother in Law was unwell and so we were visiting her in hospital. I needed some feminine toiletries. I could not believe how kind, caring and helpful Laidy was in providing something to save my embarrassment. I believe this was so special and unique. When we returned for a second time, which we did the following week as sadly my MIL had passed away, Laidy immediately remembered us. She gave us a hot drink and welcomed us back as though we were family, which given the sad circumstances we greatly appreciated. Again the stay was OUTSATNDING. The food at breakfast was excellent and again, the staff were exceptionally happy, kind and attentive. It is an incredibly fantastic hotel, Laidy is the major reason we would return, which we will next time we fly on holiday from Manchester. We live in Bristol but as family live in Warrington, we have decided we would specifically take a flight from Manchester and hope that Tribe had availability. (We would have stayed with you when we returned for the funeral of my MIL but sadly the hotel was not available.

Absolutely NOTHING!

Stayed with 2 work colleges as we were working on the airport site for 2 days, so we had 3 rooms and ate on site. Really smart clean modern hotel. Rooms are optimised to be just the size you need, and the showers are super powerful and get hot enough to even satisfy my asbestos -skinned other half had she been staying. There is a really nice vibe in the ground floor bar and restaurant areas. The staff have a relaxed modern "casual" brand uniform, and everyone we interacted with was very positive, helpful and attentive. The on site restaurant is an Italian influence. The chef and team in there clearly know their stuff. We had fantastic Steak, the special Ravioli was stunning, and the puddings literally had the team melting into their chairs in delight. Coupled with a really great wine recommendation, the dinner was way above expectation. We would go there just to dine. Overall, the stay was a fabulous social experience not just a necessity for a business stop over. Highly recommended.

Room, although small, was well laid out and equipped, very clean and comfortable. Great shower with hair conditioner which is always a big plus for me. Lady on reception desk was lovely and kind to my small grandson. Breakfast set out nice and early which was great as we had an early flight. Fantastic value for money.

We didn’t have dinner at the hotel as the meals were a little pricey and I was unsure if there was a kids menu. We were told that we could grab breakfast to take away as we had an early flight, however there were no containers or bags to put it in. We did ask and they brought us some boxes but it would be great if there were some to hand.
