So for me thr pros out way the cons: We was put in room 210 massive crack down the wall, the tissues box fell off the wall, the contactless on the outside if the door fell off, the shower wash bottle was empty. It wasnt what I excpeted thats say that. We had just travelled 9 hours and honestly couldn't be brothered to go and make a fuss, so me and my fella slept on it had breakfast went and took some pictures spoke to reception (Jennifer) who we will give a shout out to was lovley she put is in a lovley suite which very much made up for it so thankyou very much Jen :) We hope to back soon

We chose the Best Western Pinewood for its reasonable price, convenient location near Manchester Airport, and our previous positive experiences with Best Western hotels. The room itself was clean, a good size, and the bed was comfortable, which made for a generally pleasant stay. We also enjoyed the food at the hotel restaurant—it was tasty, even if the menu was a bit limited. Overall, the hotel offered good value for money, and we would consider staying again.

There were a few areas that could use improvement. The room was uncomfortably hot, and we weren’t able to adjust the temperature, which made it difficult to sleep well. I also found that I needed an extra pillow, but with an early flight the next morning, I didn’t want to wait or call down to reception by that point. Another issue was with the restaurant’s set menu. We had booked it online but were told on arrival that it wasn’t available to us, as it required advance payment—something that hadn’t been made clear during the booking process. Finally, it would have been helpful to know about the available discount on parking; unfortunately, we only discovered this after we had already paid the full price.

The staff were fantastic, friendly and made me feel welcome and if I needed anything they were more than helpful, spotlessly clean everywhere. Food for the evening meal and breakfast was really good quality and enjoyed both meals. Shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. Room was big enough for what I needed and plenty of storage space. Food and drink prices were reasonable for a hotel.

I understand it is quite an older building however it was a little noisy, the pipes and radiators were making a churning sound all night long, so I did have an interrupted sleep. But that was my only gripe! I did think it was slightly high per night to stay.

Absolutely amazing member of staff (Jen) assisted in changing our room to be suitable for my elderly grandmother. We had requested an accessible room with twin beds and this had been acknowledged but unfortunately we we arrived we found out that this isn’t actually possible due to the type of beds in accessible rooms. Jen came to the rescue and changed our room to a larger one and provided an extra camp bed.

We got a parking ticket due to the stress of sorting the rooms distracting us from immediately booking in on the app.

Staff are lovely. Breakfast was ok for our needs, (although it was a shame that there was no muesli type cereal or brown seedy/granary type bread.) Garden is pretty - a nice view of it from the bar. Room & bed was very comfortable and quiet, with a controllable heater, tea & coffee, kettle, an opening window, good size TV, good shower & bathroom.

Electric Car charger - outrageously expensive, a real rip-off/scam! We have an electric car so delighted to see there is an on-site charger. However the price is ridiculously expensive - much more than even the Motorway Service areas, and that's saying something. On Zapmap it's quoted at 99p per kWh, but we gathered from another guest that it is in fact MORE than that when you charge up, more like 109p per kWh. That is the highest rate by a long way that I have seen anywhere. Motorways are 79p at the most. You can guess that we did not use it, we had to go to elsewhere.

Room size good and it was a quiet friendly hotel.

It’s a bit tired and dated. Ordering breakfast from Tom involved filling in a form, which was hard to find, then trekking down to reception to hand it in. There must be an easier way. It the end I got breakfast elsewhere. I also didn’t like to pay extra for parking when the other nearby hotels I use on business offer free parking.

I really liked this hotel particularly for its access to the motorway network. It had a warm comfortable room with plenty wardrobe and drawer space and a writing table. It also had a superb guest information book. I also appreciated the bath as well as a shower and a good quality hair dryer. It was quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable with two hard and two soft pillows. The staff on duty at breakfast were very nice and helpful - a really enjoyable breakfast experience. Staff at reception a bit uninterested. It would have helped to know in advance that I could have used the leisure facilities in a nearby health club.

Nothing - this is a good Best Western hotel and has great access to the motorway network and shopping centres.

The room was both spacious and immaculate, and the bed was exceedingly comfortable, ensuring that I had an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was a delightful and diverse selection, catering to every preference, making it an ideal start to the day. The check-in process was expedited and cordial, and the staff made an effort to ensure that I felt at home. Everything was precisely as described.

It was a bit disappointing that the coffee machine wasn’t working, especially after enjoying such a restful night’s sleep.

Room was clean and a good size. Smelled fresh, window was left open for air circulation before we arrived. Front desk staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. We got a good night's sleep, the bed was quite comfortable. The room had an electric heater and warmed the room to a comfortable level quickly later in the evening. Breakfast was good, buffet style, small amounts in the dishes to keep everything fresh, decent selection.

I'd give the room 3.5 out of 5, not a sad face but I wasn't able to change the picture. We arrived at 6pm. Balcony Room was over the kitchen so had the noticeable hum of the kitchen ventilation until about 9pm, which sounded like someone playing the same base line music over and over again. As we went out for dinner, this wasn't an issue for us but if you are staying in the room all night, the noise might become annoying, we could hear it over the TV. After 9pm it was quiet as kitchen had closed. King size bed was not a king size bed. It was a double width bed with an extra foot on the length. Should not be classed as a King size bed. I specifically upgraded our room for a wider bed, neither of us are 7' tall.

The room was adequate for a single room, clean, comfortable bed and good tea and coffee facilities, The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food. Although I was on my own I felt very comfortable in the hotel.

When I booked in late at night, the person who booked me in told me that I was in room 401 and to take the lift to the third floor, which I did. Unfortunately, I had to encounter about 4/5 lots of stairs with my luggage. Having just had an assisted flight from Greece, because of difficulties with stairs, I was dismayed at the number of steps I had to go down to my room. When I went down to breakfast and followed the signs, I found that I only had to go up two lots of steps and this took me to the second floor lift. So I had struggled down all those steps for nothing. Also, when arriving at the hotel, I couldn't see a ramp to go down and again had to drag my luggage down steps.
