When I arrived my 1st impression was not positive. How wrong I was. Totally adequate for a few days stay for cricket. Location is prime , everything is here in Chorlton you need!! The room was sound, clean & comfortable. The staff were the bonus though, excellent with all I came across. The “new” manager Chris, is a diamond. I hope he’s there when I return, as this will now be my “go to” accommodation when I come for my yearly visit for cricket at Old Trafford!! Brilliant, thanks ALL!!! Tim The Ref - Oxford

Bar prices were excellent value for beer, the rooms were of a good standard compared to some pub accommodation. Situ of the The Spread Eagle was close to the tram but also a variety of pubs and restaurants.

The rooms were adequate and the corridors and rooms of the accommodation were extremely high temperature. There was a party on until midnight with extremely loud music but finished promptly at 11.55 but it's a busy pub so to be expected.

Exactly what we were looking for! A typical English pub with accommodation, located in a lovely area full of places to eat all kinds of food and enjoy great beer. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for fun and simplicity, just like us. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming especially Dean and Shauna who were amazing people and great people fantastic company made mine and my husbands stay so comfortable it was like going from one home to another will definitely be staying again without a doubt

Facilities were great very clean great location great entertainment the pub was lovely clean and welcoming and the larger is beautiful best I’ve ever had and very cheap everything was fab

Room was so big Beds were really comfortable Lovely staff Plenty mirror space Lovely shower but could have been descaled however still worked well

Shower had a lot of lime scale but worked and was nice and hot Light didn't work above one bed for night time but not a massive issue Not enough plug sockets only 2 could have done with another one near other single bed

Very good wifi connection, comfortable beds, huge bathroom with bath tab. Easy to access. Free parking, easy to check in.

Only downside was the toilet in the room took for ages to fill up water in the tank after use. The room was above pub so live music was ongoing until midnight. But we expected it and it was not too noisy.

I am aware that the business recently came into possession of new ownership. This was my first time staying here and I can honestly say I was more than happy with the service of the staff, the prompt response from the owners when I raised an issue late in the evening and the attitude they had to responding to the issues. Shower was amazing, room had the basics but everything that was needed.

The mattress on my bed had seen better days, very thin and could feel the springs every time I moved. Also didn't get to sleep until gone midnight due to volume levels from the bar area below. I was only there for one night however so it didn't present too much of a problem. A lot of the issues i brought to the attention of the management were around previous ownership and I was reassured that they planned to address these issues and act on them.

Spacious twin for two adults. Double windows. Bed linen and comfort excellent. Spacious bathroom with window and efficient shower. Friendly staff

Ugly lighting in room, especially bedside lamps. Only one socket. Central heating too high throughout building — turn it down!

We were happy with the facilities, we were not looking for 5 star so was happy with what we got. the rooms were clean and well maintained. The only down side being they did not serve food, but the bonus to being in Chorlton was that there were plenty of resturants and cafes that we could go to.

Clean and spacious rooms. Lovely staff. Location was great as we had to leave early in the morning to the airport (15min drive only). Overall good experience.

The rooms are above a lively pub, so staying there on a Saturday night is not for people that prefer quiet accommodation.
