Our 3rd visit this month so got to know the staff .Close to Salford Hospital. Reception staff caring & helpful - particularly Mia and Sarah - they really looked after us .At breakfast time it was Karin who was so lovely & caring for us at some very upsetting times ( relative in hospital).Also the two men on bar (sorry forgotten names). Breakfasts are always good at Holiday Inn & that’s why we chose there. Salford Quays is great to walk around with plenty of places to eat . Lowry Centre is lovely. Room was great - and quiet too .

We were there quite a lot & unfortunately found the menu pretty boring after a while.Sandwiches not good at all..Also after a tiring day at the hospital, we returned exhausted and didn’t realise that food stops at 10pm .Very disappointing. Such a shame - would have given full marks otherwise.

Clean, comfortable. The staff were very helpful. Nice location. Can't comment on breakfast etc., as I decided I wasn't prepared to pay £20 and went out instead.

The parking is confusing. We parked in the carpark outside the hotel, only to find it's nothing to do with the hotel and had to pay immediately, and then had to move the car to another carpark around the corner with which the hotel have a deal. This worked out at £11 for 24 hours, which I suppose isn't bad. It was a couple of hundred yards away, which might be a pain if you don't have bags with wheels.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Manchester-MediacityUK and had a great experience overall. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, offering a comfortable bed and a great view of the surrounding area. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of MediaCityUK, with easy access to public transport, local shops, and dining options, making it perfect for both business and leisure stays. The breakfast was a highlight, with a wide selection of hot and cold options, fresh fruit, and great coffee to kick-start the day. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again in the future!

One downside was the parking. I selected the hotel on Booking.com using the filter for parking included, but upon arrival, I discovered it was paid parking, and I was charged £11. It would be helpful if this was clearly stated during the booking process to avoid any confusion.

The location was perfect as we were going on the Coronation Street experience. It's also perfect for anything at Media City. Staff on check-in / out were really friendly

Breakfast was disappointing with lack of bacon, etc. When my mum asked a member of staff for bacon who I believe was possibly the restaurant supervisor, she was spoken to very rudely. It seemed like there weren't even staff in the restaurant. There was one male, one female who were both working really hard and trying to do everything, and there was also a lady who I believe was possibly the supervisor as her uniform was different than the other two. She didn't seem to be doing much at all and spoke to my mum rudely.

The hotel was as we expected and was great value for money. The location was perfect for seeing a show at The Lowry. The food was fabulous. I'm always a bit nervous eating in at hotels, expecting microwaved food tbh. But the evening food and the breakfast were all fabulous!

Would have much preferred a standalone shower than over bath. The sides of the bath were quite high so was a bit worried about slipping on entry or exit. Also wasn't a fan of the floor to ceiling window! But the curtains were great to keep it covered whilst allowing light in. I'm sure most people love it though - kind of laughing at myself and my dislike of heights!

I contacted the hotel a few days before, mentioning it was my partners birthday at the end of the month. The staff went above and beyond and decorated the room in banners and balloons. Even went as far as to set up a little plate of brownies with happy birthday on them. We did get there about 2 hours before check in. When I got to the desk to ask about where is best to park, they were able to check us in early aswell with no extra cost so we could leave our bags and go sight seeing. The location of the hotel is in the middle of some amazing places. For the price that I paid for the room it really is amazing. The whole hotel and surrounding areas were so clean. No rubbish or dirty anywhere. The staff were amazing, specifically Jordan who was the one that made the room so special. We even got a complimentary breakfast for 2 on the morning and a free drink and snack. I also loved how if you were in the hotel bar, you could charge your drinks to your room if you don't have cash/card on you.

Only thing was that the rooms were a bit warm. You couldn't put the air-conditioning on and leave the room as it turns off, which is understandable, however as soon as the air conditioning went on it was amazing. Other than that, I could not fault our stay at the hotel.

location perfect, very close to parking, shops, bars, restaurants and lowry. loads of bars in area. our room had a view over the canal and lowry area which was nice. Full floor to ceiling windows. room perfectly clean with all facilities incl iron and board, hairdryer, kettle, soap, shampoo etc. plenty of space and storage areas. staff really friendly and helpful. lots of choice at breakfast. great that you can check-in at 2pm and out at 11am

price a little on the expensive side. with parking and breakfast for the two of us worked out at £200 for one overnight stay

How close it is to the tram station for easy access into the town centre/ Trafford centre and other locations, also nice easy walk to the coronation street set which was our main reason for the stay, also very clean and modern, staff were friendly we didn’t have much interaction with them as there was no need, the room was a good size bed very comfortable, slept very well, air conditioning easy to use, the breakfast was good, both cooked and lighter options available, very clean also. I also like the key card systems felt very secure with these, we were on the 8th floor and had an amazing view, not sure where it was though! But overall a lovely stay and will stay again in the future.

We had gone out early and came back about 11/11.30 and our room had t been cleaned and we had left a sign on the door so we went and had a coffee, as we had seen the cleaner was upstairs , we gave it another half hour and. Then went back up and it still hadn’t been done so we got ready for our afternoon at the Corrie tour, left and when we got back it had been done. Not a real problem as I say the cleaner was around.

The hotel was lovely really nicely decorated and the room was lovely staff were really nice helpful and friendly, breakfast was lovely they had buffet style fry up breakfast and had lots of other options like cereal toast pancakes so much choice

It was really hard to connect my phone to the tv so I could watch Netflix etc as there was so many showing up when I searched that I had no clue which one was the tv in our room , maybe a wee name change to have all tvs named after the room number would be much better for connecting , we had people trying to connect to our tv all night because most tvs have same name when doing a search to connect

Hotel is situated in a great little spot, literally a 2 minute walk to the quay where there are some nice restaurants. The hotel was very clean and good value for money. All the receptionists were nice and welcoming. The bar staff, a young lad and young lady were lovely and went above and beyond to find me an iPhone charger to charge my phone, as I had forgotten mine. I’m sorry I didn’t get their names but they were so nice. The lad recommended the Botamist restaurant for my mum and I to visit just a short walk away. It was amazing. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone! 😃
