The accommodation was great! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We arrived a bit earlier and asked to check in slightly earlier and the hotel was very accommodating. The room we stayed in was great! The breakfast was decent and had plenty of options. The location was great and walking distance from Old Trafford. I will definitely stay here again, lovely experience.

Not much to dislike or criticize. There was a bit of dust in the room which is a small issue since the rooms were cleaned everyday. The bed was also slightly hard but overall it was still a comfortable stay. I would book here again.

The room was great - awesome to have a fridge available! Also great to be able to adjust the air-con to warm or cool the room to desired temperature and be able to open the window. Breakfast was great and handy to have available until 10am. Coffee wasn't great - but you had Cafe Nero in the foyer. The staff were AMAZING! My son wasn't well but the staff were very helpful and accommodating with being able to take up a breakfast tray and dinner order. Fantastic to also have the local corner shop and Tesco express in walking distance.

The only catch was a very limited menu for room service and in the bathroom [room 230] alot of the tiles moved and look like could do with re-grouting.

The property felt new and clean. We experienced a quick and efficient check-in despite the hotel being really busy! All the staff we encountered were kind, helpful and friendly. The Garden Inn is the perfect location for the football at Old Trafford. Being tall, my son and I really appreciated the extra large twin-beds. Lovely smelling toiletries in bathroom, powerful & spacious shower. We had a great view from our balcony and sitting outdoors/having the door open.

Nothing really. Perhaps the gym was a bit underwhelming with 2 cardio machines out of order. But that said, it was clean and tidy with AC, water and towels available.

A spotlessly clean hotel. Car park was free and right at the door. Which is better than city centre hotels. The breakfast was good. Far better than motel one which didn't provide shampoo, soap or body lotion. Nice sized room. I appreciated being able to use the gym. And the view of the cricket ground from the restaurant was amazing.

Two machines out of order in the gym. When I first arrived at hotel one receptionist was busy and didn't acknowledge me. The next girl was disinterested and not on for any chat at all. Thankfully by 5pm there was a great bloke on reception. Full of fun.

Breakfast wrapped up well before the displayed time, they were already running out on items around an hour before finish time and no staff was monitoring the buffet item levels and had to be reminded even after fully running out of the basics. This is becoming more like a Hilton standard across branches and brands whether it's Garden Inn, Hampton etc, personal experience from 2 stays within 3 months. Minimal options for Vegetarians

I had stayed at same hotel 3 weeks ago . Although I had not booked that room but the staff on reception upgraded to pitch side room. I had excellent view of the stadium. During day the room was very well lit . Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would like to mention Phillip who not only gave me all information on both my visits but helped me by booking taxis for me . He even searched and found out the best Indian restaurants for me. He was extremely polite , friendly and a pure definition of professionalism. Room was clean and had all amenities that I needed. I did not use the room service but it was available.

When I stayed the first time 3 weeks ago the room was not on pitch side but had better overhead lighting which was very helpful as I was there for a course and needed more light to study. However the room did have table lamps which I could move. Just an observation that the television in the room on last visit was wall mounted and had big screen compared to this room but that did not make much of difference to me. Overall it was very comfortable and I would stay in this hotel on my future visits .

The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly .. everyone we encountered greeted us with a smile and ‘how can I help ‘ Shout out to Jay on reception and Ian on gate 2 Both very helpful on the Friday night of our stay and the staff on reception on the Saturday were all very accommodating too It made our stay memorable for all the right reasons There was a cricket as well as a football match and although the hotel was busy with guests and their various demands, we only saw exceptional behaviour from the staff and all managed their role very well I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt that this time it truly deserved a positive review We had the best time at the football and the whole experience at the hotel as well has created a great memory for us all Thank you everyone !

We only booked than the night before as we were going to see day 5 of the test match and how lucky were we to find this. First of all, location was incredible. We went to see the cricket and couldn’t get any nearer. The ease of parking was amazing; pulled up, gave name, parked, 10 feet away from the front door, what more could you ask for? The staff were super attentive, could not do enough to help and were really friendly. After a day at the cricket we went to the bar to watch the Euro final and had some delicious food and drinks. Asked at the bar for extra tea bags and were given a jug of milk, tea, coffee and sugar to take back to the room. The room was spacious, and immaculate. Nice toiletries and a big shower. Only small negative, the pillows were not very firm but the bed was comfy and the room was lovely and cool with air con. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and sat overlooking the cricket ground. There was so much choice and all was beautiful and we could take a coffee away with us as well. Finally, check out is not until midday which gave us lots of time to go for a walk around the area, lots to see and do there if you are going for a longer visit, before we set off on our 2 hr drive home. This hotel was incredible value for money and we are already looking at coming back.

The whole experience was above expectations. The beds were of a high quality and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, spacious and the position of the shower controls were well thought out. The temperature control was easy to use unlike other hotels we have stayed at recently. Everything was considered including the cushion options for the outside chairs, ideal for watching cricket. The kettle and fridge were of a high brand which was a pleasant surprise. TV channels were plentiful and was surprised to find Sky Sports available, we have never had this before. The inclusion of Lancs TV and the cricket scoreboard is a fantastic addition for any guests staying for the cricket.

Only small criticism is felt rushed at check in and check out.

Loved the situation within walking distance of old Trafford football and then cricket on Friday. Just brilliant. Reception pleasant and friendly. room clean and tidy. Room service, quick and warm still. And the man who brought it up to us was lovely. Everything was smooth. Car park brilliant. Felt safe and secure especially with it being a match day, great security and procedures in place. Wonderful check in and out time making for a relaxed stay. 100% booking again for our next game.
