The whole experience was above expectations. The beds were of a high quality and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, spacious and the position of the shower controls were well thought out. The temperature control was easy to use unlike other hotels we have stayed at recently. Everything was considered including the cushion options for the outside chairs, ideal for watching cricket. The kettle and fridge were of a high brand which was a pleasant surprise. TV channels were plentiful and was surprised to find Sky Sports available, we have never had this before. The inclusion of Lancs TV and the cricket scoreboard is a fantastic addition for any guests staying for the cricket.

Only small criticism is felt rushed at check in and check out.

Loved the situation within walking distance of old Trafford football and then cricket on Friday. Just brilliant. Reception pleasant and friendly. room clean and tidy. Room service, quick and warm still. And the man who brought it up to us was lovely. Everything was smooth. Car park brilliant. Felt safe and secure especially with it being a match day, great security and procedures in place. Wonderful check in and out time making for a relaxed stay. 100% booking again for our next game.

The only thing, it’s personal preference obviously, but we’d been travelling for nearly 3 hours and got stuck in traffic and when we got to the room I just wanted a biscuit or something but there wasn’t any complementary ones. This is minimal and

Breakfast was great, staff were friendly, great view and facilities nice. The location was literallt a two minute walk from where I needed to be which was great. Easy to order food too although a bit of a walk which I don't mind but some might!

There was quite alot of noise from "neighbours", especially outside on the neighbouring balcony at night talking loud and banging things. Although not the fault of the hotel, maybe more could have been done to prevent this. For example in premier inn with a quiet time after 10pm etc. It was only frustrating as my reason for travel was a course and didn't get the best of sleep due to this which is not to do with the facilities.

We arrived early before checkin and the staff were very accommodating in showing us to the bar. We had a drink in a lovely bar area. Our room was spotless and could not be faulted. The bathroom was beautiful and clean. View and balcony of the cricket stadium was amazing. We also enjoyed the security at the hotel after the match. Having someone on the door to check guests are in the hotel was a great reassurance to us. Such value for money and would definitely recommend again.

There was not alot we didn't like, there was only 1 incident when we had a knock on the door which woke me and my partner up around 8.20. They then opened the door but couldn't as we had the catch on. They left then appeared shortly after. I was awake this time and when they knocked again I answered the door and it was a staff member. She she didn't say anything when I asked if she needed to get in the room? She just said it's fine and don't worry. Very confusing and a bit unfortunate we were woken up.

Our recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Manchester and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully laid out, providing both comfort and functionality. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were just what I needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, a great hotel with excellent service—highly recommended for anyone visiting Manchester!

The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too soft for my preference, and the duvet wasn’t the warmest. Even with the thermostat turned up to 29°C, the room didn’t feel as warm as expected. If the hotel could improve the bedding and provide firmer pillows and a warmer duvet, it would make the stay even better. That said, I’d still recommend it for the excellent service and cleanliness.

Fantastic location, especially for those attending Old Trafford. 5 minute walk to the stadium and very easy navigate. Not too far from city centre/ Trafford centre either and there is a tram line right outside the door. Staff are superb - this includes the girls at the check in desk, who allowed us to check in at 10am with a complimentary upgrade, the breakfast staff and the security at the door at nighttime. The room is good too, nothing I can fault here. Cannot complain about breakfast either, but it is just a standard buffet and nothing special. I would 100% recommend staying here and will definitely be back for future matches.

The only minor issue I have is the route to the room. From reception we had to go in the elevator to the first floor, then walk to another elevator to get the the fourth floor.

The bathroom was lovely, great that all toiletries are provided. The room, including bathroom, was very spacious & had everything we needed. Excellent location for popping into Manchester City Centre as the tram stop is a 2 minute walk away, with free parking at the hotel. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast the following morning before checking out.

Reception staff failed to tell us the check-out time or where breakfast would be served the following morning. Pillows were too soft for me but other than that, everything was great.

The room was lovely and spotless, the sofa bed was made up, everything was spacious Hotel staff were very helpful, lovely to talk to and friendly Breakfast was delicious for £13 could go up as many times as you want and there was a big selection of hot food, cold food, fruit, cheese, Salami, hot and cold drinks and pastries and muffins Hotel is right next to the tram station

Only thing I would say is luckily we was on the first floor and we got into the lift without knowing you had to put the key card on the swipe bit under the buttons, we was in the lift for a few minutes without moving before figuring out what to do and as a person terrified of lifts I panicked and didn't get in the lift again the whole stay after but like I said luckily we was on the 1st floor as I had to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs

This was our second stay at this Hotel and as expected everything was great. Breakfast selection had something for everyone and staff were very welcoming. My Daughter used the gym which was great. The room was perfect for us very clean, my Mother is disabled so the aids and adaptations were on point allowing my Mother to have a comfortable stay and access all areas at ease. We were unsure if we were going to stay another night but decided to and Front of house / reception staff were able to book this for us and we were able to remain in the same room which was appreciated. Parking was great and at no additional cost. Overall another great 2 night stay and will definitely stay again.

Could not fault anything everything was perfect.
