We had to book on the day as our previously booked accommodation fell through that morning, and we were travelling to Manchester for the marathon. We felt lucky to be able to book anything! The hotel is smart and clean (bedrooms and public spaces), the beds were enormous, the shower cubicle big, the water hot! The hotel felt safe, I like that you have to use a key to get up to the bedroom floors. The staff were friendly and helpful; they went out of their way to assign us our two rooms next to each other (which was particularly amazing due to the fact that we only booked on the day!). The hotel was extremely accommodating to marathon runners, they served breakfast earlier than usual and provided carb-rich products. Thank you.

Nothing really, other than it was quite expensive, but we were stuck for accommodation, only booked on the day and there was a marathon on! We felt lucky to get anything, so we’re happy to pay in the circumstances. If I’d had a choice though, I would have looked for something cheaper.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing. We booked a last minute stay for our daughters cheerleading competition close by and as soon as we arrived and entered the building we felt safe and comfortable to stay there. The hotel was clean and fresh and secure. A lovely little bar area which meant we could have a quiet drink after a long day at comps before heading to our room to do it all again. We had breakfast included from 7am the next day which was amazing as it meant we could let our daughter choose what she wanting to eat to get her energy levels up before competing at her 2nd day at comps. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had showed us round the breakfast area as this was our first stay (definitely won't be our last we will be re-booking for her next comps in June) the little goody bad the staff gave her at breakfast made her day. Discounted on-site parking rate when staying here. A lovely river right outside our window which we enjoyed having a walk round. Shops close by in walking distance. Free WiFi, tv in the room, kettle,cups,tea and coffee In the room. Our room smelt lovely on our arrival beds made perfectly. Dove toiletries in the bathroom (which was ideal as we didn't have any with us to take a shower). Air-conditioning/heating in the bedroom. Overall an absolute amazing experience staying here and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay.

Great stay. Clean, comfortable, perfect location for gig at O2 academy Victoria warehouse, great price. The only downfall was breakfast. The hotel seemed to be fully booked (gig close by + fri night into Saturday morning stay), kitchen were having issues with ovens and guests in front of me piling their plates super high leaving myself and the two people I was with with nothing. Not the hotels fault, but was a disappointment that we didn’t have access to the full breakfast range. We stayed for an hour in the dining room and kept missing all the hot, cooked breakfast due to demand.

Second time to visit and came for my birthday to see a local event , got a nice free drink and snack for my partner and myself for my Birthday upon arrival. Thank you ! Really nice staff and they remembered us from last visit ! I love the atmosphere in the lounge and from the hotel in general, good for lone travellers to have company if wanted. A very warm welcome and very hospitable, nothing is too much trouble , staff are always happy to help. and the personal touches they give for everyone is lovely Room was so comfortable , those beds and duvets are so comfy . Very quiet and no noise from hallway or neighbours . I love the breakfast , so much choice and staff always about to help if needed. The decking area outside is nice and by the water , lots of ducks ,swans, geese just happily plodding about and sitting with a drink watching them is so relaxing . Many water sport actives to watch or join if you like. Beautiful area to have a walk by the waterways , the view here at night is stunning. Nothing all great

Great location, lots to do in the area without boarding public transport or driving. Clean room, huge bed tasty quality breakfast included and friendly helpful staff.

Upset with parking machine in lobby, was in a rush to input details as we were running late for a river cruise and ended up paying for more than 24 hours which was £20 instead of £10 with the hotel discount code. Mentioned it at reception and hopefully the email to parking company will get me a refund. So In future it might be better if reception staff mention to look carefully at leave time and don't rush it.

Location was fantastic close to Media village and Old Trafford, all within walking distance, right on the canal with fantastic indoor food market where you could buy street food from all over the world at a great price. Walked into Manchester city centre along the canal it took about 40 mins stopping to shop and have drinks on the way took the tram back to the hotel which took about 12 mins , Tram to Trafford centre also only took 15 min journey . You could book outdoor swimming and boating on the canal right on the hotels doorstep . Overall a perfect location

I liked everthing

Lots! Easy parking, fantastic location, lovely short walk to the Lowry where we booked to see a show. Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfas for the cost it was fine. The staff were the best, professional and so helpful, the young lady on breakfast duty and later on reception when we checked out was so polite and helpful replenishing the orange juice as soon as I mentioned it, it was so busy at breakfast but the staff were so good and it really still worked fine! Would definitely stay here again when we next visit the area! Thank you

Did not detact from my overall 10 rating but only realised two tea bags in room in the morning when made tea and we really fancied another one! could have done with a couple more.

Perfect location walking distance to lots of things to see and places to eat. Easy to find and park, lovely views of the waterfront and the staff couldn't do enough for you. We stayed here for my son's 4th birthday as we were going for a day out locally, they were so kind to my son giving him a birthday treat. The main bed was comfortable and sheets clean.

The sofa bed was noisy and uncomfortable, the heater didn't work and was very noisy but we didn't need it as the hotel was very warm anyway. The bathroom was a little grubby looking. The breakfast wasn't brilliant, everything had been sat a little long so all the hot food was dry and overcooked, the rolls were a little stale, the juice was almost undrinkable but for the price we paid this didn't take away from the stay.

Nice room, very clean. Great view of Old Trafford from the window. The bar area was pleasant, and the location was great, a short walk to the cinema, restaurants and Lowry alongside the Quays.

The car park is chargeable and run by a private company. The hotel didn't tell me that I had to pay even if just dropping off luggage and I got a fine afterwards. I found the cleaning staff were very noisy in the morning and constantly slamming a door nearby.

The breakfast was great. We travelled for a show at the lowry so the location was perfect for us. We were able to check in early. The staff were all very friendly and the room was very clean

Myself and my daughter were in an interlocking room. Unfortunately the group in the adjoining room were very noisy. Due to there only being a door between us our room was very noisy at times. We are certain our door was opened at one point aswel. Please maybe pay attention to where groups of people are being placed. Having my 10yr old awake at 2am due to a noisy group of people was the only downfall to this stay. Conditioner in the bathroom would also be great! Thank you
