The location of the Hotel was perfect for my purpose. All members of staff and Management were very Helpfull and polite.The parking facility was a major factor in me booking this Hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. The noise levels was very good. There is a Tram station next to the hotel. There are good local shops and take aways nearby. Old trafford football and cricket ground are within 10 minutes walking distance. Trafford shopping centre 15 minute drive.

Parking should be free for Hotel guests rather than a £5 daily charge. The checkout time could be extended from 11.00 am to 11.30 am or even midday which would be great. It would be also be helpfull if there was a mini fridge in each room.

We booked two rooms and the hotel had rooms with an interconnecting door which we requested. Rooms were large and clean. Good size bathrooms with powerful and hot showers. Good location for either of the OT sports ground as well as Tram to the city. Car Park on site. The evening meal menu looked great.

Minor glitches were (1) Electric fan on stand was wonky (we did not need to use it) (2) bedside lamp did not work (it was the wiring not the light bulb) (3) Had to put down the Toilet Seat Cover in order to flush the toilet (4)) small reception area with noisy music in background when we checked in (5) small bar area just for a drink- I did say minor ones! We did not do Breakfast due to additional cost £12.50ea.

Signature steak was a lovely meal and very good value for money. The team and service were exceptional, and the food beautifully presented and piping hot. We ate early and it was quiet in the restaurant however the tv being on helped create some atmosphere and we didn't feel awkward. Location to tram was good, car park was very reasonably priced and felt secure being enclosed by a fence to the road. Breakfast was excellent as I asked for something off the menu and they went out of their way to cook it for me. Nothing seemed too much bother. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as I was as it was so reasonably priced so I will use it again in the future as I will be coming to Trafford on a regular basis. Might give it a miss when United are playing at home unless you were attending.

I had booked a cottage room and the photos looked light and airy however I was given an upgrade which was nice of them but I ended up with two king sized beds (for just one guest) and the window faced the centre of the hotel. I do like fresh air and although the room was plentiful I felt a bit closed in. I think my original room would have suited my needs better. But thank you as it is just my personal preference.

Dear Sirs, Firstly thank you for our enjoyable stay at your hotel last night, the upgrade was much appreciated. I will put a positive revue on any site you would like me to put it on. Although we didn't use your restaurant last night, we will be doing in future, the menu costs were very reasonable and your breakfast was superb. The hotel in general is clean and airy and our room was large, clean and had a convertible large bed. The staff are friendly and helpful and it was nice to have a drink in the bar area especially with the 15% off our drinks. I will be booking to return anytime we are in Manchester either for work or pleasure Regards Patrick & Marie McDonald.

Local to shops and close to motorway - parking at site which is payable which is good - tram around the corner - Ubers are cheap enough to get you to coop live which I had a concert there - just remember they don’t stop right outside the coop live they drop off about a 5 min walk Away - also when concert finishes go to fire station and Ubers will pick up from there . Sorry back to hotel - lovely room super comfy bed - fan in room - tea and coffee facilities - iron and ironing board and plenty of towels and toiletries - I had food at the restaurant which was really nice too thank you . Definitely worth staying here don’t book anywhere else … staff were lovely too xxxx

Nothing just be mindful the council are doing road works and it may detour you from the property as it did me and I went round the houses .

Lovely property small, personal, with excellent caring staff. The location is perfect for anywhere in Manchester with buses and a tram stop nearby. We went to Old Trafford cricket ground which was only ten minutes walk away.

Some residents were a bit inconsiderate, slamming doors late at night, but that is not the hotel’s fault. Also sadly there was construction work going on right outside the hotel when we were there, but again not the fault of anyone. We did not notice it much as we were out all day.

The Trafford is very close to the metro station in a very nice position to go around manchester reaching the center in few minutes. The amazing thing is that the Hotel has a very nice restaurant open for most of the time of the day. You can enjoy nice food and beer with a discount for who stay also in the Hotel. I was there for the Oasis concert and it was a really nice choice. Room very comfortable and staff so nice and kind.

The price was too expensive related the position and room. Would be perfect if 100£ less. For the rest, nothing to say. Very nice!

On site Staff very nice and helpful. Huge room (see below) Metrolink tram stop 5mins walk then 10mins to town centre. 5mins to OWS(wimming) , Salford Quays Kettle in room Simultaneously a pro and con - Made a mistake with my booking which (PRO) Trafford hall kindly altered with no extra charge BUT (CON) it took 8 days and half a dozen increasingly fraught emails to effect.Even then only got a decision after "reminding" them that even before arrival they'd already supplied me with 7days of negativity to post in a review. Didn't use them but retail park across the rd and salford quays and Trafford malls within 10mins

-On arrival found I'd been "upgraded" to a larger room. Happy with room itself and large size BUT- -This was room 11 on the ground floor. It is next to an external door which I think is a fire door - ie automatically slams shut loudly - but also a service door.which was used very early a couple of times each on Saturday and Sunday mornings = end of otherwise peaceful slumber. -Standard industry practice I know, but i always resent it- Kingsize bed made by pushing together 2 beds logitudinally. It would be more comfortable to do so horizontally. -Being charged for parking though only £5/day

I loved the respect and professionalism from the receptionists. We went there because we just had had a terrible experience with Radisson Blu Manchester Airport. We had completed our booking and paid for it in full and we were barred at the reception because "they were fully booked". The receptionist had just been cold, rude and indifferent. Here at Trafford Hall Hotel they welcomed us with a smile, were genuinely helpful and went the extra mile and found a bedroom with an extra bed for our 4 years old son at no extra charge. The bedroom and the breakfast were excellent.

Was a bit put off by the reviews for this place, but it really isn’t like what other people have been saying. What sold us was the location. Super easy to get the tram into the city centre, and is super close to the Victoria Warehouse for our gig. Staff are really polite and helpful here which is fab to see! Room was spotless and super comfortable. Discount on drinks was a great touch too! We didn’t eat at this hotel but it looked amazing from what we saw! Parking is only £5, and we were allowed to park up WAY before check-in time!!! Will definitely be coming back to this one whenever we’re in Manchester. If you’re considering this hotel, just book it. Don’t let reviews sway your decision.
