Great central location, spotlessly clean. Food was excellent.

All staff at the Dakota are fab, especially the bar, restaurant and concierge team. Check in felt as though we were an inconvenience with no information given on breakfast times or any services. Evan had to ask how we get to the lifts to get to the room which is a little strange for a 4 star hotel (this was a little thing and overall a fab place).

The room (executive suite) and the guest service was excellent. Especially the kindness of the waiting staff was beyond compared. Even though the terrace for brunch was not open, upon request we were seated there. The cleaniness and cosiness highly appreciated. We spent two special nights at the Dakota Hotel Manchester and certainly will return.

We were not informed about the deposit needed to pay upon arrival. It certainly was not a problem however would have preferred knowing this prior to arrival.

This isn't just your average hotel! Staff were lovely and welcoming when we checked in. Bed was massive with plenty of space and really cosy. TV offers a variety from Sky Sports to movies when you want to settle down for the night. The bathroom facilities are kitted out to the max with both shower and bath included! And room service are fast. Expensive, but worth it for the experience! Overall, I would definitely be back again in the future and would certainly would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants the experience.

The only thing I didn't like was they require a £50 deposit, in case you decide to use the room service. This was not notified in advance and was more on the spot payment.

Attention to detail- very important. Shower/bath and basin immaculate, like really clean and shiny. Plenty of hanging space and drawers for clothes. Huge bed with nice, soft pillows - not cheap polyester and the mattress was so comfortable, better than my orthopaedic one! Plenty of tea and also coffee maker, hot chocolate too - real milk in the fridge, biscuits and bottles of water. Blinds and curtains that had plenty of material so no light seeped in. Lovely cocktail bar, the grill looked good but unfortunately wasn’t available to fit in with our other arrangements. The staff were personable and really efficient.

There was nothing not to like about the hotel itself. although it’s not in the most salubrious part of the city, otherwise it was perfect.

The hotel is beautiful. The location is a little off the beaten track. The staff were amazing. The room was lovely. You can park your car outside the front door for an additional cost which was well worth it. The decor is tastefully done and the low mood lighting sets a mysterious ambiance.

The air conditioning in our room did not work and was extremely noisy. This made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep and getting ready for evenings out was impossible applying makeup and trying to keep it on was extremely difficult in the room. Reported issue on first night but unfortunately there was no solution. Being on the 6th floor also meant the windows did not open. The rest of the hotels air conditioning worked well (hallways, reception, bar, dining room) so stepping out of the room for some relief was nice.

Super romantic decor, totally our vibe. Exceptional staff, have to give special mention to the gentleman manning the doors. He was so friendly and helpful. Everything during our stay was magical, the small details in the room, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, the bathroom was gorgeous and the tv/mirror was wow. Will definitely return.

The packages we went for in addition to the room were a bit pricey, but we weren't too fussed about this as it was a special occasion. Perhaps out of budget for a random night away, but to mark a special moment, this is the perfect stay.

The property was amazing, the vibe was great, everything looked perfect from the entrance to the room to the restaurant. Cannot fault the hotel for the looks. The staff were brilliant too.

I ordered an add on of champagne, chocolates and rose petals to be in the room for when we arrived but they didn’t do it, said the system I did it on was not the best (it was an email they sent me with a link on it) They then said they would sort it for when we get back from our meal and it was complimentary but they sent a cheap bottle of Prosecco and no chocolates just rose petals. We left the prosecco as it wasn’t something I drink.

All facilities and areas were exceptional. Classy, stylish and clean. The staff were beyond helpful. The outside area/conservatory was lovely. We had a fab meal in the hotel restaurant.

We didn’t have bath robes or slippers in the room and whilst the hotel advertises a mini bar it was empty. When I rang to access the above items, I could do and the robes and slippers arrived promptly (but very much lacking in quality) and the mini bar request didn’t arrive. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in cities and it’s the first Tim I have had to request these things. Very disappointing for the premium price tag per night.

This hotel has everything you need! Absolutely perfect location, 8-10 minutes in an uber, but even if you want to walk it isn’t even that far to the city centre. Lovely arrival, staff are super friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself is stunning, the vibe is very relaxing and such a stunning hotel. The rooms are so lovely and luxurious, one of the nicest sleeps I’ve ever had, blacked out blinds and curtains for a peaceful sleep and the shower is just divine I didn’t want to get out. The valet parking is 24 hours, extra £40 but so worth it as you can keep the car there the next day depending what time you arrived if you wanted to venture out into the city for the day so I’d definitely recommend having the parking, there is a car park just down the road but I’d rather have my car in their car park, they even put water and mints in your car before you leave which is such a nice little gesture. 100% will be returning to this hotel again, thank you for your hospitality.
