Staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us.. Beds are hard hard but I loved that. Disabled access bathroom was spacious and the water was hot. Didn't use the lift as we were first floor and my son carried my wheelchair up the 4 steps ( I'm ambulatory). Managed to check in 25 mins early.
In hindsight should have asked for extra pillows as the one wasn't very good and if your in a low floor it's very noisy outside. The extra glazing didn't seem to do much. The only sort of genuine criticism I have is, there should have been some form of table, even a side table to put make up and toiletries on.

This is a real good option for traveling alone in this beautiful City. It got all you need. U're basically in the Center while stepping out. Bars Cafés Shops all a footwalk away. Easy 24hrs Check In. The Room I had was perfect for me being alone. Having my own bathroom with shower as well. Cheap as f when u know the room prices around the City. Has a TV which I didn't use. Bed was comfy. Not really noisy, which I kinda expected.
Well only 1 out of 4 plug ins seemed to work, none of the USB slots worked, the Blindfold won't roll up, not that there would be much to see but would've been nice to let some sun in.

The room was small - basically a bed plus a bathroom/shower unit - but was all I needed for a single night stay. Room was well lit and had sensible locations for storage and power points. Bed was comfy. I was on the ground floor but there wasn't much noise from the street outside. No noise from the other bedrooms on the corridor, either. Staff were very friendly. Overall, a really good budget base to explore the delights of Ancoats and the Northern Quarter.
Couldn't get the TV to work in the room - the man on the front desk offered to try and sort it but, to be honest, I really wasn't bothered. Otherwise, all good!

I took a 5 pound ‘bribe’ to write this. But my conscience is clear because I was going to write some kind words anyway, before the manager’s offer to write a review. That avoided paying a fiver to leave my bag at reception for a few hours after check out. Easy has become my go to hotel when I occasionally pass thru Manchester. The price is an unbeatable attraction. So too is the location. The hotel could hardly be closer to Manchester city centre, a stone’s throw from Piccadilly Gardens tram stop. And just a few minutes walk from both Piccadilly and Victoria rail stations. On the doorstep are many restaurants and pubs, Chinatown and the village are a stroll away. The triangular-shaped building resembles the flat iron landmark in New York city. Big flagstones on the floor of entrance show the building’s age. So do the original brick walls and high wooden ceilings retained in rooms. The vintage heavy wooden entrance door is also still there. But the modern sliding door replacement somehow takes ages to shudder open. Check-in and out with friendly staff is a breeze. Rooms are small and probably best for solo travellers to avoid a tight squeeze. Noise from next door was heard last time I stayed but not this maybe because not so busy? Comfy double bed, adjustable heating control, small wall mounted tv and strip lighting for dimming adds to coziness.
Loos are tiny but shower is powerful and plentiful - design maybe should have included a shelf for shampoo etc. No room for wardrobe or shelves? Two pillows are not enough. No kettle to make a cuppa is also a miss. After having to wait until 3 pm to check-in, check out is too early at 10 am But overall I’m not complaining having paid just 35 quid on a rainy night in January.

Location and being clean and affordable. I went to a concert and the bus dropped everyone right by the hotel which was wonderful as it was a bit late in the evening. A Tesco right in front of it helped me manage my money even more buying meal deals for breakfast with a costa hot coffee. The hotel also offered hot coffee and snacks with reasonable price.
No area to sit in the lobby. Some people smoking right outside the building made me feel a bit insecure and unsafe. The lighting in the room was poor.

Absolutely everything! The staff were so friendly. I arrived quite late and I was greeted by the friendliest staff. I had a couple of questions. I wanted to fill up my water bottle and there was a water machine with chilled and normal temperature water. I wondered if I could have a quieter room and this was accomodated too. My room was so spacious and I loved the exposed brick feature too! Plenty of space, big windows with a gorgeous view. I even asked for earplugs and they had a bowl of those as well. The rooms were quiet and I couldn't hear anyone else at all.
Nothing! There wasn't anything I disliked. My room was clean, well ventilated and spacious.

Great budget hotel for a quick trip! Fantastic location, easy to check in and out. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for those who plan on spending no time in the room! The rooms in the hotel were very small which was fine as we spent all of our time out in the city. It was a bit of a squeeze with all our bags etc but we made it work! (Think slightly bigger than a room on a ferry). My sister had a twin room which felt much more spacious so I would recommend that for those looking for a little more space. The black out blind in the room was also very welcome on the following morning of our stay!
Personal preference but the mattress in our room was very uncomfortable, I described my sleep to my sister as a rotisserie chicken who needs to keep turning (in order not to seize up). There was only one pillow per person so my boyfriend had to fold his in half, as he likes to sleep higher up. I believe you can get extra pillows from the 24 hour reception but as we didn’t get in until the early hours we didn’t really consider it. It would have been great if the main mirror was in a different position too as it was so close to the bed you couldn’t really get a good look into making it difficult to get ready / see outfit as a whole before going out.

Very clean room and shower room. Quiet. Air conditioning was a real bonus as it was 30° outside. 3 min walk from a wetherspoons and about 7 mins to piccaddilly train station. Terrific location.
Room was a little too small for a chair so you had to sit on the bed. Only 2 coat hangers which didn't bother me , but it may if you staying several days. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. There was a vending machine in corridor where coffee was £2.50 and a cup of hot water £1

No frills, but everything you need as a base for a night away. The building is very characterful, exposed brick work and beams are really nice. Very clean and functional. From the fire escape floor plan it looked like we had a room that was a bit more spacious than most, which was great for us.
The only thing we found was that there was only one pillow per person and it was quite flat. Guess we could have called reception and asked for another one but it was late and we just wanted to sleep. I guess some people might miss not having a desk/table and chair, but we were fine without.

The staff on the front desk were amazing, I met 3 on my 2 night stay, all very helpful and looked pleased to be there. The room was a lot better than I expected, especially the bathroom. Bed was nice and comfy, and large. Built in usb ports! Sounds like a small thing bet proved very useful. Excellent location, stones throw from train station and all shops and bars.
The only gripe I had was the noise. The rooms are very thin pre fab, in a large ex warehouse. You hear everything, from next door having a shower to people walking through the corridors
