Great location very near Piccadilly Station yet off main street so still quiet. Bonus : 2 lines of free buses just outside Piccadilly station which allow one to easily reach all parts of the city centre if you don't want to walk. Hotel is within walk distance to everywhere in the city centre, along the canals and to Ancoats. Special mention : very lovely staff at the reception Lanie and Olga who went the extra mile to help relocate us to a room on the quiet side of the hotel even though the hotel was full for the weekend. The bed and room were very comfortable and we could sleep very well.

Small detail that does not affect our rating but I thought to highlight this for the hotel's attention. Housekeeping was not 100%. We stayed 4 nights and most days, they forgot to replenish the coffee capsules and tea bags.

Lovely entrance area , relaxed and informal yet high quality . Excellent attentive staff . Drink on arrival was a lovely touch . Rooms were lovely , Has a balcony , would have appreciated two small (even folding chairs on the balcony as was a hot day so would have been lovely to sit on the balcony for short period /first thing in the morning . Shower and lighting was brilliant . Bed was incredibly comfortable and TV channels , coffee machine was fab too . Breakfast was the best ever - very high quality and staff were brilliant in every way .

Nothing to not like - a lovely hotel all round . Excellent staff and food - all high quality and immaculate and clean. If I could recommend anything , would be to include two small folding chairs for the queen deluxe rooms with balcony to sit outside on the balcony , and bathrobes in the room - expect that with a deluxe room .

The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. They shared many excellent recommendations and were generally personable and enjoyable to talk to. As I was traveling alone, and was not expecting to spend the weekend in Manchester, it was really helpful to be able to turn to the staff for recommendations for food, things to do, or just information about the city. They were also just pleasant whenever I struck up a chat. Really great people, everyone. The breakfast was also quite good, and the location was excellent for going out and exploring the city.

The only complaint I can make, and this had basically no effect on my time at all, was that the area between the end of the bed and the TV in front was a little cramped. Like I said, this did not matter at all.

Myself and my partner loved our stay at The Reach. The hotel is lovely and modern, the staff were really friendly from start to finish. The room was a good size, we liked that it had space for hanging clothes and a coffee machine. The shower was decent with good pressure and the bed and cushions were really comfy, loved our view of the canal too. We also ended up having the breakfast, which was delicious and cooked to order, and they were happy to accommodate any requests. Really can’t recommend the place enough - they’re really mindful of sustainability too which is a big plus for us.

The hotel is absolutely lovely. The staff very friendly and attentive. Excellent location for the train station and trams. Bed very comfy. Everywhere exceptionally clean. Will definitely stay again.

As above absolutely loved our stay so this is just constructive feedback. There were no instructions to work the coffee machine in the room, we tried but we didn't succeed. We waited quite a while for breakfast to which the staff did apologise. Then unfortunately when mine arrived it wasn't correct but swiftly rectified. We had a meal on the Friday night which was super tasty if not slightly on the small side and there was quite a delay in receiving the fries to go with the burger, my husband had finished his before they came but again the chef did apologise. Like I said I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay.

Fab hotel with such pleasant staff that cant do enough for you and make you feel so welcome. Hotel is situated in a great location only 3 - 4 min walk from Picadilly train station. We booked two rooms interconnecting as it was a girlie trip, one was superior king lovely and spacious and the other room was cosy double, which is small but absolutley perfect for a one or two night stay, rooms were spotless, decorative and equipt with everything you need including amazing products in the bathrooms which are locally sourced so you dont need to bring all that with you and we were extremely comfortable. I love a good hotel, even more when the staff are top notch, so dont skip this spot you wont be disappointed, would highly recommend and will be back soon

The hotel felt so comfortable and staff were absolutely brilliant. Plenty room to relax in the evening. We ate from the small plate menu choosing two each plus potatoes and salad. The price was not expensive for a City centre location and the staff made excellent recommendations after asking the kind of things we like. I cannot go any further without mentioning one particular member of staff a very bright and cheerful young lady called Kate who is an absolute gem and is company focused telling us about the hotel and the group and generally how good a place to work. The location next to the major transport hub of Piccadilly station.

The short walk from Picadilly train station was very convenient and we found the hotel easily. From the moment we arrived at the Reach Hotel, we were greeted warmly by the staff, who were very friendly and helpful. We were even given a vodka tonic or beer on arrival. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, with a smart and modern aesthetic. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and had a fresh, new feel. The air conditioning kept the room comfortable, and the bed was cosy. The thoughtful touches, such as the tea and coffee station complete with eco coffee pods, fresh milk, and biscuits, added an extra layer of quality to our stay. What truly stood out was the exceptional value for money. Given the high standard of the hotel and the comfort it offered, the price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish place to stay in Manchester.

It's hard to find something we didn't like, to be honest. We were given a discounted breakfast deal, which was £10 each. That included a continental breakfast, a hot drink and an à la carte breakfast. It was a great deal for £10 per person, but I'm not sure I'd want to pay the full amount for it.

We enjoyed everything about our stay at The Reach! From welcome drinks upon arrival, the amazing location, the super friendly staff and the lovely room with a brilliant view! The food in the restaurant downstairs is definitely a must! Would go back just for a meal it was out of this world!

Our room on the 10th floor was very warm and we couldn’t turn the aircon down past 18°c, had to sleep with both windows open so we were woken to to sounds of building work across the city. When we addressed this with reception in the morning, they were very apologetic and we were told if this were to happen in future stays we just needed to call and they would sort it out!

Location - good for station or secure parking at Q-Park Piccadilly. Seemed quiet on street and sound proofed rooms. Backs into Rochdale canal so nice to have view of that when having breakfast. Yet good location to walk to shops/restaurants. Friendly/efficient staff. Nice breakfast - like table service for hot food and good choices. Not enormous amount of rooms so dining area quite personal. Lots of tv choices in room inc sky.

Small strange shaped room which was ok for us as spent most of day out. Would need to be comfortable with who sharing with as bathroom sliding door offers no soundproofing and is very close to bed. Would stay again for a night but wouldn’t want many days in a room like that as quite dark. However the pluses of hotel certainly outweighed the room size/shape.
