Nice clean hotel. Attentive staff. I found the bed in their smallest room a bit too difficult to get round but then in a, second trip I was given a, larger room which was a, lot better. Nice tea and coffee making facilities in the room with snacks and cold water in the fridge. Lovely breakfast which is worth the £10 deal I was offered prior to check in but I would have been disappointed had I paid full price at £20. Good proximity to Manchester Piccadilly. Overall a, really nice hotel but with a few tweaks it could be a great hotel. Was well worth £100 per night that I paid.

Room felt a bit cold and not as comfortable as it could be with hard floors and plain walls. Also the area is quite lively and noisy at night. It's not the hotels fault but every night but I was disturbed by inconsiderate drunk people shouting, singing or laughing in the street. Even with the window closed, they could still be heard slightly. I suspect the higher the floor you're on, the less of an issue this is. I also found that the second ro I had which looked out onto the car park was less noisy that the front facing rooms. I guess it's to be expected in a, city centre.

Central location, easy access to Manchester Piccadilly station. Staff were helpful and friendly. Decor modern and aesthetically pleasing. Comfy bed. The door had a security latch mechanism which made me feel very safe in my room being a solo female traveller.

Two minor points which do not detract from my overall experience: -I had an angular shaped room and the positioning of the bed meant I had to squeeze round the foot of the bed to access the other side of the room. -The shower tray was very shallow and with the shower screen going only half way across, it was very hard not to drench the bathroom floor

The breakfast was good. Plenty of choice. Good quality. The location for breakfast/meals was somewhat cramped and a bit cold.The staff (Oscar; Maurice) were great. Check-in staff were great (Danni?). Room cleaner was very helpful.

The dining area was cramped and lacked privacy from the main entrance and reception. It was chilly in the morning (air conditioning? main entrance?). The first room we had (231), had the large TV at the foot of the bed which made the room layout odd and you had to see the back of the TV. We asked for another room (2017) which was much better.

The location was great. So close to the train station. The hotel is lovely with friendly staff at the reception area. We ate at their restaurant and enjoyed the food. Our room had views of the canals and were very clean. Our room wasn’t spacious but we managed. The towels were fresh and fluffy and I like the shower pressure.

We were on the second floor and the moment we got off the elevator we had a strong whiff of mold and mildew. We thought perhaps the floor had a water leak somewhere. But once we got inside our room the smell continued. In fact the first night I was not able to sleep well. The following morning we noticed we were overlooking the canal but that shouldn’t have cause that horrible smell. When we came back from touring the next day the odor was still there. We stayed two nights so we didn’t say anything thinking it’s a one off.

Great location very near Piccadilly Station yet off main street so still quiet. Bonus : 2 lines of free buses just outside Piccadilly station which allow one to easily reach all parts of the city centre if you don't want to walk. Hotel is within walk distance to everywhere in the city centre, along the canals and to Ancoats. Special mention : very lovely staff at the reception Lanie and Olga who went the extra mile to help relocate us to a room on the quiet side of the hotel even though the hotel was full for the weekend. The bed and room were very comfortable and we could sleep very well.

Small detail that does not affect our rating but I thought to highlight this for the hotel's attention. Housekeeping was not 100%. We stayed 4 nights and most days, they forgot to replenish the coffee capsules and tea bags.

My stay at The Reach at Piccadilly was absolutely fantastic, far above what I had hoped for! I mentioned to the staff that I was coming with my girlfriend for her birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special. When we arrived, there was a delicious chocolate cake and some lovely goodies waiting for us, such a thoughtful touch. The room was cozy and stylish, with an amazing view from the balcony. The location is unbeatable, just minutes from Piccadilly Station and right in the heart of Manchester, making it perfect for exploring the city. Overall, I couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The attention to detail and exceptional service made it truly memorable. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

Would say the breakfast on a whole was value for money for the £12.50 per person we paid. I would point out though that there could be a wait as the dining area is only small and if everyone turns up at the same time, you have to wait for a table. We did not mind that as we could have a juice and coffee whilst waiting. The quality of the ingredients was good however on my plate was one piece of bacon cooked normally and another that was absolutely frazzled and should never have been put on the plate. My Husband likes his food really hot but it was only warm. Maybe a microwave could be tucked in a corner somewhere for people like my Husband just to heat it up. The location of the hotel is fantastic if you are using Piccadilly, just a short few minutes away.

We found the room to be very dark and it looked as though 2 of the little round ceiling lights were out so maybe someone needs to check. My Husband found a Tomato sauce packed and a top under the bed which were from a previous guest. I found when using the sink in the bathroom, if you pressed the plug down to fill the sink for washing all little black bits were floating in the water so I left the tap running to wash which is not environmentally economical but I did like the look of the black bits floating in the water.

I would stay here again in a heartbeat - the beds are probably the most comfortable hotel ones I have slept in. The room is well-equipped with everything I could possibly need. The bathroom was nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff at check-in and out. Fantastic location in the Northern Quarter. And a bit random, but really great smelling hand soap too ;)

I had some noisy blokes staying next door, and the door separating our two rooms didn't appear to be as sound-proofed as would have been required to match their lungs. Towels dried only slowly in bathroom.

Lovely entrance area , relaxed and informal yet high quality . Excellent attentive staff . Drink on arrival was a lovely touch . Rooms were lovely , Has a balcony , would have appreciated two small (even folding chairs on the balcony as was a hot day so would have been lovely to sit on the balcony for short period /first thing in the morning . Shower and lighting was brilliant . Bed was incredibly comfortable and TV channels , coffee machine was fab too . Breakfast was the best ever - very high quality and staff were brilliant in every way .

Nothing to not like - a lovely hotel all round . Excellent staff and food - all high quality and immaculate and clean. If I could recommend anything , would be to include two small folding chairs for the queen deluxe rooms with balcony to sit outside on the balcony , and bathrobes in the room - expect that with a deluxe room .

Myself and my partner loved our stay at The Reach. The hotel is lovely and modern, the staff were really friendly from start to finish. The room was a good size, we liked that it had space for hanging clothes and a coffee machine. The shower was decent with good pressure and the bed and cushions were really comfy, loved our view of the canal too. We also ended up having the breakfast, which was delicious and cooked to order, and they were happy to accommodate any requests. Really can’t recommend the place enough - they’re really mindful of sustainability too which is a big plus for us.
