Great location right in The City Centre just across the road from Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station. The bed was incredibly soft and I slept well for the 7 nights I stayed here. The dormitory room was nice and warm with toilet and shower just across the hallway. Card access to the main door and dormitory room. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Communal lounge and kitchen area where there is a refrigerator, microwave and cooking equipment for making your own meals. 24 hour reception and a minimart. Strong free Wi-Fi. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy walk to city centre, across the road from Piccadilly train station, from where 2 free town buses leave (connecting with the main bus station and Victoria train station). Staff were good, especially the cleaning staff.

There was a lot of theft of food and drinks while I was there. There's no stove or oven, the is a microwave, panini press, and rice cooker. The lounge is a loft above the shop entrance, I wonder if it's warm when the weather is cold, as the shop door was always(?) open. The elevator says "not working" because the light doesn't work, I used it anyway, I was there for a week, still not "working" when I left. There were 4 bunks jammed into my room, only one bunk had had working lights.

Good community of people, owners were friendly, beds were comfy and clean. For the price, it’s great 👍🏼 you’re not gonna get The Ritz for £30 a night 😂 but if you’re looking for somewhere cheap to get your head down for a bit, it’s not a problem at all. I had a great time. It’s attached to a 24/7 shop which is amazing after a night out for a soft drink and a sandwich before you go to bed. Can’t fault this place for a second, I’d actually recommend it to friends. I made some amazing new friends there too and we all went to a gig together. Not great for privacy if you’re that kind of person, but if you are that kind of person, why would you stay in an 8-bed per room hostel? 😂

I was greated by name (I regularly stay here) checked in a little early so could nap before travelling to my gig, there's a nice area to enjoy my take away too, bed was comfortable and room quiet.

No downsides

This was my 4th stay and for £27 is exceptional value for money. Friendly staff, considerate guests, comfy bed, easy access to bathrooms. I really don’t understand why so many guests have shared such negative reviews. Yes everything is quite basic but all I seek is a bed for the night in a clean quiet environment. Value for money in Manchester ‘you can’t touch this.’ Location wise could not be more convenient. Has been ideal for attending Warehouse Project events at Depot Mayfield which is just a three minute walk away.

It is the best place to stay in Manchester if you are on a budget. Wasn’t expecting much after reading the reviews but got to be honest once there I was surprised of how clean and quiet the place was and staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming not to mention how handy it was to have a shop at the reception . Great location right next to the train station. My stay was fantastic and I will always choose Rahman Hostel if I’m in Manchester

Location is a stone’s throw from the station. -Staff are super friendly and caring. (Left an item in my room and they posted it back to me. Tysm!) -Other people staying there and mancunians are also super friendly!! -Personal socket and lamp for each bed. -Dining area/social area was always lively with people to talk to. =)

(New) sandwich loaf went missing so keep biscuits in your own room! -Kitchen is basic: microwave, toaster and kettle. -Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper cos of night traffic if you want windows open. -Wi-Fi signal didn’t reach my room and I happened to be in a not-spot with my provider (Vodafone). Downstairs I had both. (-Mine wasn’t but some rooms are subterranean. Just so you know.)

From start to finish the experience was out of this world, it coupled the cosy friendly experiences of backpacking through Thailand with the luxury amenities you expect from a charming city centre accommodation. The staff, though short numbered, were on call 24/7 and welcomed us back by name each time we returned ! The trip was enriched by Rahman Piccadilly hostel and I’ll be booking again when I return.

the fact that there’s a little groceries store for the entrance is at first confusing but rlly useful cause 24/7 open. The staff is really nice and helpful
