Very modern, comfortable,clean,friendly staff and overall very classy. The shower was fab too.

I would suggest a mirror on the desk somewhere as it was little bit of messing about walking up and down to the long mirror to put my make up and do my hair. I couldn't do it in the bathroom either as nowhere to put my make up. Also as stated in the booking there's some noise that can be heard from the hotel being on the main strip but think that was mainly where our room was,as our friends who were at the other end of the hotel didn't hear anything. Obviously no fault of the hotel it's just an heads-up to maybe ask for another room where it's quieter .

Location was ideal for exploring the area. Only 5 mins walk from Manchester Piccidilly station.The room was very spacious, and a great night sleep bed was very comfortable. Tea/coffee brilliant. The bathroom was amazing. Air con worked a treat. Staff were very helpful, nothing too much trouble. Online check-in in advance is brilliant. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe.

Overall, really, anything major, to be honest. Need to point out not black out blinds on windows so awoken by sunlight at 6.30 am. I was on the third floor at the back. There was an extractor type noise that kept going off intermittently through the night. Need to add more than 2 English breakfast tea bags, I had to keep asking for more. Only one of the rainfall shower heads was working (as I was on my own, it didn't matter). The basket is a nice touch but so overpriced when you can purchase cheaper in local supermarket. The same goes for the mini bar. No milk was added for the second day. I had to ask for more.

Lovely welcome, upgrade to room, glass of Prosecco on arrival ans going back to our room after dinner. Little tray of goodies in room when returned after dinner. Location 2 mins from local parking and 5 mins walk from train station. Restaurants about 5 mins walk.

We had an issue with the lights going off and having to be reset a few times - got offered to move rooms but we were settled for the night. Lights issue again at 5am, lights came on ans woke us up, put them off but couldn't nod over again. Lights again, got up on 2nd morning (departure day) lights were off, decided to just get ip and head home. Downside, no telephone in room to call reception. We had to go to reception to report issue. Complimentary drinks offered from minibar on first night once lights were back on.

Decor of hotel was very modern and fresh rooms were exceptionally clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar was great very nice decor inside and loved that you could sit outside or take your drinks to your room! Great location too ! We were so lucky that when we arrived at the property we had been upgraded to a penthouse suite which was unreal. This really made our stay feel extra special.The penthouse suite was immaculate. Had a stunning bathroom and a lovely bar area . We especially loved the upstairs bedroom space that was equipped with a large tv ! I definitely would book to stay here again

Design of the room was impressive and unique, in particular the renaissance-style mural, large floor mirror and chaise lounge. Location was perfect for us, being located in the heart of the Gay Village and the Northern Quarter just a 5 minute walk away. The welcome glass of prosecco was a nice touch! Staff were nice and professional.

Room was a little dusty. TV signal was weak, making it unwatchable. We could hear doors closing in the corridor from within the room. It was a little odd that the security deposit was charged and refundable 7-10 days later, rather than simply put on hold.

Complimentary Prosecco on arrival was really nice. The reception staff really lovely and friendly. My room was fab! I really liked the decor, loved the lighting and lighting system was easy to use. Electric blinds along with curtains. Bed comfy, slept well. Although I didn’t purchase anything from the mini bar or snacks they were very well stocked, plenty of choice. Bathrobes were a nice touch and soft. Bathroom just as fab as the room, it had both a large modern bath and separate shower, plenty of toiletries too. The towels like the bath robes were really soft and fluffy. The aesthetics throughout the hotel were very much to my taste, I really couldn’t fault the place. I liked the location and didn’t find it noisy. My room overlooked the canal, I was not too far from the train station or the event I was attending. I would be happy to stay here again as I enjoyed my stay so much.

Clean, rooms was smaller than I expected due photo impression; but still a nice room. Has all the standard stuff.

This policy of a deposit *above the room rental rate payable on arrival, £100 in cash or £200 of you pay on card!! Then you get the refund within a week. It Doesn’t build trust, and puts me off staying here again. I’m lucky I did see it in the T&C’s in advance and didn’t think too much of it, but seeing how others reacted when they hadn’t, kind of woke me up a little from my malaise; some didn’t have £200 to put aside. I can go to other competing hotels and not need to pay a deposit on arrival, and get equal or better experience without having money needlessly taken and refunded. In my case personally for me making an informed decision, it means I won’t return. The place is nice, but not that nice.

Room beautifully styled & finished, and very comfortable. Hotel welcome excellent. The drinks on arrival were a nice touch Location very central with easy acess to city centre. Bar very welcoming & reasonable cocktails.

Bathroom lighting not working as designed (electrical fault on lowlights). No on-site breakfast (except a tray continental) - which is not clear when booking ("good breakfast" shown), although staff clear on arrival & directed us to nearby good breakfast options (we recommend Richmond tearooms). Some noise from late night bars across the canal.

Very easy to find and close to the train station. Lovely warm welcome in a very stylish reception area and was greeted with a glass of Prosecco. The room was STUNNING! Felt like a New York loft apartment with an enormous bath. Loved all the thoughtful touches in the room especially the mood lighting. Breakfast in bed for just £10 was a wonderful start to the day! Short walk to the northern quarter too! Absolutely give this place a 10/10 will definitely return and recommend to my friends!

Spacious room, comfy pillows. Liked the decor. Lots of space to keep toiletries in the bathroom. Had air conditioning Would like to try another room next time. Loved being in gay village, they are funny and friendly!!

The bath had some remnants in the bottom. The bottled water wasn’t free and it has been in every other hotel I’ve stayed in. Small bottles of toiletries are much better, it was hard to put the shower gel in the bath as it was fixed. There wasn’t a shower cap which is always useful or flannels. Knowing this I would need to bring my own. Chaise longue needed professional cleaning. Blinds didn’t cover the windows adequately as they were sloping, so gaps of light.
