I stay there regularly for work. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and also very helpful. It is a very comfortable hotel with well appointed rooms and a good central location. It gives value for money. I have to travel to Manchester frequently for work. I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Manchester, and this is my favourite one. I am always sure that I shall have a warm and sincere welcome and a decent bed for the night. I have had dinner there a few times and the food is always good, well prepared and well presented. Breakfasts are really very good, with wonderful and cheerful staff, and some dishes can be made to order. In short, my favourite hotel in Manchester. It is really very comfortable.

I have no complaints at all. This is a well run establishment.

Room was spacious, bed very comfortable. Breakfast as we went down around 10am had been out a while so not the best, I am sure it would have been better had we gone down when it was fresh. No complaints, very nice hotel, located perfectly for all of our personal requirements, would use in future.

Breakfast may have been a little better if they staggered the buffet coming out rather than it being sat there for a while. We came in at 10 and it was already not great then and it was on until 10:30 so anyone any later than us would have had even colder food.

The room was extremely spacious and fantastically equipped, georgues comfy bed and the air conditioning.... wow, it was absolutely red hot outside so was fantastic to walk into a lovely cool room. The location was fantastic with everything within walking distance, had cold water ready on arrival which was nice and super friendly staff 10/10 will be back

Everything was brilliant, cannot fault it but if you held a gun to my head and told me to pick something... no bottle opener in the room but thats literally just me trying to find something:)

We stayed at The Townhouse, Manchester for a combined theatre/shopping trip and found it ideally situated for both; with the Palace Theatre being a three minute walk away and shops on the doorstep. The hotel itself is delightful. The guest rooms and public areas are spacious and welcoming and all staff we met were most helpful, efficient and friendly. We booked to park our car at the Q Park Piazza (2 minutes walk from the hotel) and found it convenient and well priced for a 24 hour stay. We would definitely choose this lovely hotel again for a stay in Manchester city centre. Thanks to all.

I stayed here with a friend for an event and stayed a few extra days to explore the area and nearby cities too. The location was really good for what we needed it for - in terms of the event, the city centre and it being within walking distance to the Manchester train stations we used (Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria. Also very close to Manchester Oxford Road although we never used that station) for when we explored nearby cities. The room was a nice size, there was lift access to the upper floors and the staff were friendly. We both agree that this stay was well worth the money and would both happily stay here again

There was no toilet brush. Can't think of anything else to put here.

The hotel was very central so was ideal, shops and restaurants all nearby. And the city centre is within walking distance. We had a really spacious room and well equipped. The staff were also lovely and very helpful. We opted for late checkout which was only £10 to extend until 1pm rather than regular 11am checkout. Very reasonable and well worth it!

The only cons we had with our stay was our room (for 4 people) had on 2 plug or socket’s that we could use to charge in phones, hair tools etc. The other complaint we had was the window in the room did not open whatsoever so we couldn’t let fresh air in and felt sometimes stuffy.

Staff: Outstanding service provided, from the front desk to the housekeeping Breakfast: Many selections of pastries, English breakfast, yoghurt, cereals etc. Room: Everyday cleaning and view of the room (facing Portland St). Available electric kettle, coffee, and tea. Location: Near the train station, tram, and Dean St. Luggage Storage: Free

I believe it is time for an interior renovation. For a 4-star hotel, the amenities could be improved. Consider providing a universal socket (or an adaptor for non-UK guests), a complete set of toiletries, slippers, and real rose flowers or petals for one of the packages offered. Also, please clear the browser history on the Internet TV. When we turned the TV on, the R18 show was still visible from the previous guest :(

Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning, big windows and a nice view of the city. Bathroom was big and the shower had good pressure. Location could not be better! They allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out which was highly appreciated.

Breakfast was average (not bad but not great either). Bathroom toiletries were also average for the hotel quality (we were expecting hair conditioner, shower gel and shampoo but we only had one of those "hair&body").

I loved the location of hotel. Close to all amenities. There is also a busstop just outside the hotel. Lovely quite hotel, staff were very welcoming. Especially Jon, tall young man. I had my teenage sons birthday here and he made it very special and helped in anyway he could. Blonde hair girl, I didn't catch her name was also very kind, and helped with my sons party arrangements. Flo was a lovely person and made our stay very welcoming. Breakfast each morning was a bonus with full buffet and tasty food. I would definitely recommend the Townhouse for a stay, Overall we truly enjoyed our stay here.

The staff were really nice, the location was excellent even for us as first time in Manchester.

For the price paid, it would have been nice to find a bottle of water in each room. I would have given it a 10 rating but the bathrooms are not very comfortable. The fixed shower head is not appropriate for ladies who do not want to wet their hair. And the shower pipes need to be longer especially in rooms where only bath is available. Not to wet our hair, and no shower caps available, we had to wash ourselves bent on our knees. Otherwise it is a 10.
