We arrived at around 1.30pm to the hotel, the lady at reception was amazing and let us know that if we wait another 30 mins we could have early check in , or we can simply store our luggage and come back at 3pm. Unfortunately i didn't catch her name but she made us feel so welcome and special , even recommended us some restaurants and places to go ,gave us all the information we needed and was ever so friendly yet professional . The room was wonderful , bathroom was excellent and well equipped with towels, shower and hair wash , basically anything you need (plus a hair dryer). The bed was very large and comfortable , honestly nothing to fault . Sadly the TV wasn't a smart TV however we managed to connect the phone to Bluetooth and that's all we needed , only fault is no mini fridge but come on now , for the price and location the place was amazing without it . Definitely would return

I recently had an exceptional stay at this hotel, where the staff truly excelled. I left a note with a special request, and they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, particularly Sam at reception, who made my daughter feel incredibly special. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and boasts an ideal location in the heart of Manchester, close to all amenities. The staff provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and activities, enhancing our visit. With the tram right at our doorstep and fantastic restaurants nearby, I will definitely choose this hotel for all future visits to Manchester 🐝

Everything about our stay was excellent. This is a well run hotel. The staff were very accommodating and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The lobby area was also extremely comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed our entire stay and will definitely go again. Its very central, short walk to both trams and trains as well as shops and restaurants.

I have nothing to add here. Just on the questions above: Did the price you paid match the expectations you had when you booked? I said No, because I hadn't expected it to be as nice for that price. Ive paid a hell of a lot more elsewhere for a terrible experience.

The location was great! It was clean, had daily housekeeping. Helpful people at the reception, especially this one guy with dark hair who checked me in, another woman who helped me access the room when I stupidly locked myself out, and a young lady with dark hair who I asked about where to empty the bin and she offered to send someone up even outside of housekeeping hours. Rooms were a good temperature and hot water was available.

Felt that toothbrushes could have been provided. And bins could be lined with bags. Got a little expensive with a long stay and weekend rates. The view was to the inside of the building.

Rooms are slightly smaller than I’m used to, but there was ample room for two tall adults! King size bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice. Check in was swift and friendly and the location was within walking distance of most places we needed to be! Budget hotel, but nicer than some 4 star hotels we’ve stayed at. We didn’t have breakfast there, but there’s plenty of breakfast spots nearby.

A couple more hangers would have been good. An extractor fan in the bathroom to help with steam. An iron and board in the room would have been better. Perhaps some complimentary bottles of water. Bit of noise from other rooms in the middle of the night, but it was Saturday night, so to be expected.

I felt really welcome by the very friendly Portuguese people, the man with the Rastafari hair in the bar, was very polite, and helpful - he prepared me a ginger tea on my arrival, to help out with my upset stomach issues. The lady at the Portuguese lady ( Madalena )at the Reception was very friendly, and professionally polite, when I requested an earlier check in, as I arrived at 12. She managed to get us a room in the 7 floor ( the room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is very central, closed to all the shops, and. Me and my partner, will definitely come back to this Motel one next time we travel to Manchester. Really nice place, atmosphere, and the hotel is beautifully decorated with modern style, and breakfast buffet is also very good too. Countless reasons to highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Manchester.

As soon as to enter, you’re immediately hit with a dim low light lounge, bookshelves and old books wishing for be touched and read also combined with the bar at the far back. The reception had this cool concept of books stuck to the wall. Location and staff were excellent!

The bed was very big and comfy but there was a lack of space to freely move about. The bedside table was really tiny and we didn’t have a bin apart from the bathroom one

Perfect location as we had an event to attend at Bridgewater Hall. Rooms were basic but clean and functional and the bed was really comfortable . The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were able to check out but leave our luggage and able to get changed before our trip home again. Perfect for one night stay :)

If I was being picky would have liked an extra bin and a few more toiletries like a shower cap etc and can be noisy if you open the window. There is an office block directly opposite that can see in your windows so need to keep the curtains shut but didn’t bother us too much

Everything was perfect from the location to the welcome on reception, the rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy and the bar and breakfast area was lovely. Will definitely use this hotel again when I’m staying in Manchester as we found it good value for money.

there wasn’t much not to like but breakfast was a bit hap-hazard, it took a while for everyone to find things like cups, glasses, juice, plates. Myself and other guests were wandering around trying to find bits and bobs and everyone was helping each other and pointing each other in the right direction as they discovered where these things were tucked away.However, that didn’t really affect us.
