Very central location close to Sackville Garden and short walk to train station. Plenty of restaurant choices at the doorstep.

Noisy on the Tuesday night I stayed but to be expected on Canal Street. Could do with an extra blanket for the bed in the room as a bit cold but otherwise comfortable stay.

Booked spontaneously as missed the train home after a concert at co-op live. Called staff to confirm I would be there around midnight due to traffic - staff were reassuring. Got an Uber to practically the front of the hotel. Check in was quick & easy - needed to provide id and a bank card. Was in room 19, quiet, cosy and clean. Had everything I needed included towels, wardrobe, dressing table, ample plugs, lights, tv, tea, coffee, biscuits and shower gel/soap. Epic location - 5 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly and 2 minute walk to the coach station. Was warm and cosy - window opens onto a walled area but still got sunlight and fresh air. Was quiet enough to sleep just after 1am but I’d pack ear plugs if I stayed again, as thin walls, fire doors & bars very nearby.

Staff were amazing. Nat couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. The hotel itself is one step away from a hostel. In fact I’ve stayed at much nicer hostels.

The noise level was poor, very noise guests and the bed was squeaking. No amenities. The bathroom was tiny and smelled very bad and the shower temp was broken had to work with it to get a manageable temperature. Not value for money at €230 bed only no breakfast, per night. Small basic room and one very small window facing the smelly bins. Definitely didn’t get bang for our buck.

Fantastic location in a vibrant area with a lot going on and many good restaurants (including Chinatown) nearby. Staff is always really friendly and accommodating. Rooms aren't fancy but get the job done. Good wifi!

Nothing, but worth noting that Canal Street is bustling with activity through the night, which could be good or bad depending on your plans. If noise is a concern, would recommend trying to get a room on the back side of the hotel rather than facing the street.

The staff was excellent. They were professional yet friendly and very helpful. Willing to engage in good intelligent conversation. The shower was very clean and had very good water pressure. I would recommend this hotel to anyone will to stay in the Canal street area of Manchester.

One minor disappointment was that the hotel didn't serve breakfast, but there are places very nearby that did. Late at night you can hear loud noise in the street below, though this didn't happen every night. I still think it was worth staying there.

Bit dusty

What drew me to Le Ville was its location, as I was visiting Canal Street, and you couldn't get much closer. The price was fair, the rooms were clean, but I was most impressed by the sound-proofing. Despite being right in the heart of the action, couldn't really hear it. I wanted for nothing in terms of plug sockets, lighting, 24 hour manned desk and a hair dryer.

If they'd installed the toilet at 45 degrees into the corner, I'd have been able to fit my knees in more easily. The shower itself was also fairly small. I also should have brought my own pillow. The ones there were adequate, but I like really squishy pillows.

As for the room, it was in good condition—clean and comfortable. However, the bed wasn’t the best part of the experience. Every time I moved, it made a lot of noise, giving the impression it might break at any moment. If you're a light sleeper, this could be a bit of a problem. The hotel it’s located in the heart of Manchester’s gay district, a lively and energetic area. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the bars, clubs, and restaurants that bring life to the city center, especially on Canal Street, where the party scene is always vibrant.

The reception staff Emma & Natalie were very professional, polite and helpful. Room were standard everything you needed,Kettle,hair dryer,towels and TV. The only downside were at the weekend all the noise from Canal Street you couldn't sleep as it didn't finish until 5am .Would use again I I were ever in Manchester

The noise from the bars at the weekend didn't finish until 5am so got no sleep even with the windows closed. Room 33 is the worse as your above the Chicken takeaway shop
