I loved the little things that made it so much easier for me as a solo traveller, everything from the reception staff being very helpful and friendly to the water dispenser, free papers in the morning, discount for breakfast on arrival, very clean and compact rooms, decorated well with ample storage, this is a dog friendly hotel and a waste concious one which was a novelty for me and nice to see. The little maps and visitors guide were a great touch. It was perfectly situated close to Oxford Road Station and Picadilly, plenty of cabs available if alone late at night like I was. I came here to attend my cousins wedding but next time I will bring my husband and would definitely choose this hotel again. Thankyou for a lovely stay 💕
The bed frame is material so a bit dusty at the head of the bed but honestly, that is all I would change

The people who work here are wonderful, so friendly and helpful in every way. Great location. I was given a room upgrade out of kindness of the hotel for no reason in particular. My room 006 was on the ground floor. I thought it was good value for money especially with breakfast included. They stored my bag for free for a few hours when I vacated the room. No issues with room key card.
The view out the window wasn't the best. There was a lot of furniture clutter in the room which made it slightly difficult to move around. I didn't like the décor but that's just my personal taste. The breakfast was slightly overcooked. A nearby guest was loud in the corridor at 10:30pm.

Staff are really lovely. warm, welcoming and friendly. Also very helpful if any queries. There is a 24 food and drink service, which you can sort in reception, or text a number provided in the room. The bar area seemed good, although we didn't drink in there The room was a good size, and had all the facilities we required. The location is great for walking to the 02 Apollo, and it's close to so many pubs and restaurants. NCP car park is les than a 5 min walk away, and is reasonably priced for 24 hours if you park on the app on arrival into the car park
We were placed to the back of the hotel, which backed onto some busy roads, so it was very noisy through the night, with traffic and people on the streets. I had to close the window, even though it was warm. Fans are available on request, but as this was the middle of the night, I did not go downstairs for one. The bathroom door did not close fully, it seemed too big for the frame, which wasn't a problem for us as a couple, but would have been for me personally, had I been staying with friends.

Good customer service and friendly staff. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the train station (Oxford Road) and is close to the student population and Manchester Met University. There are lots of pubs/bars and restaurants close to the hotel. There is a Spar within a two minute walk and a bit further along an Asda. I was able to leave my luggage there after I checked out so I could spend a few hours in the city.
The weather in Manchester was really hot (May 25) but my hotel room air conditioning wasn't working. Thankfully I brought a mobile fan so that helped a bit. Breakfast was ok but the food in the big pots was very dry i.e. baked beans, scrambled eggs and button mushrooms. It was like they were left over from the previous day even though I was up and down in the restaurant by 7am. The hotel is close to a busy road and because my air conditioning wasn't working I had the window open. You could hear the noise from the local bars and lots of emergency services (sirens) were going off throughout the night.

hotel was nice, just as expected for the price. Staff at the front desk were really lovely and helpful, offering advice on how to get around the city and how best to get to the coop live for our concert which was the reason for our visit. Bag storage available on arrival and departure was a huge bonus. Room was standard hotel room but nice and beds were comfy. we were on the top floor by the lift so were worried about potential noise but slept soundly and was no issues.
was a small stain on one of the bedsheets, and aircon didn't work but thankfully was a cool weekend so wasn't an issue, but could've been if warmer outside.

Good value for money. No frills. Basic but everything I needed for my conference week. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. Self service breakfast options were the same every day, nothing fancy but plenty to eat to start the day. Good location for me. 10 minute walk from Piccadilly station, slightly less from Oxford Road station. 15 minute walk from the University of Manchester where the conference was held. Good location for Manchester night life and lots of restaurants within walking distance, all tastes catered for in every respect! I was able to leave my luggage for free on my last day which was very helpful. I would certainly stay again.
I was on the sixth floor which was pretty much level with the railway line between Piccadilly and Oxford Road stations so with the window open I could hear the (slow moving) trains quite easily. Also it's city centre Manchester so there's constant traffic rumble and night life. Not a problem for me and easily fixed by closing the window if you want. I didn't bother and had no problem sleeping. Something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper.

Comfortable, quiet, easy to get to, the man we spoke to upon arrival (didn’t catch his name but it was 7pm on the 2nd of July) was really kind and gave us directions to the gig we were going to. Breakfast in the morning was also really nice
Menu said the kitchen was 24/7 but when we tried to order food they said the kitchen was closed for the night. Not a huge problem, but would have been nice to get some kind of indication that it was closing that night (maybe with the information given when we arrived) so we knew we definitely needed to make other food arrangements!

Great location within walking distance to Manchester Piccadilly or Oxford Street stations and tons of bars & restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room and bed were very clean & comfortable - great pillows. Breakfast had a good selection and the coffee choices from the machine were a nice bonus.
The climate system (which is not climate control) was confusing and didn’t blow any air - fans were available upon request, however, and were definitely needed during the warm nights in early June. Also, the carpet in the room looked rather worn and stained.

Staff were fantastic, really helpful and friendly. The rooms were perfect for what we needed, clean and comfortable beds. It's a great location, short walk into the city centre and transport links. We stayed for one night for a concert at the Etihad and campus, the staff made sure everyone knew where they were going and gave good, clear directions. We were unsure of where to park for our stay and the lady on the front desk was so helpful before we had even checked in. Great selection of drinks at the bar and even a bottle bar. We didn't try the food so I can't comment on that.

Centrally located hotel with clean and very comfy rooms. Staff were nice and gave us a top floor room which was very quiet. We saint have breakfast there but we brought our own food and use the dining area. Staff were happy to offer plates and utensils. Overall it was an excellent stay, especially for the price.
One member of staff didn’t want to let me go to my room after I told her my husband did the check in and was insisting that he come down to meet me at the reception, although I told her that the reservation is under my name but she didn’t bother to check. She later apologised though.
