The room was a windowless room which is what I always book when staying here, everything in room.was very good once again, extra towels hair dryer lots of tea coffee milk sugar, comfy bed , respectful neighbours instead of drunk morons also make the stay even better! The reception staff were helpful on check in. I would always recommend the hotel to any persons visiting Manchester a 1 minute walk to piccadilly Gardens 5 min walk to the Arndale centre, I have personally stayed here many times in the last 12 months.

we stayed for 4 nights; the location is superb, almost at the centre, close to everywhere, do not be afraid of the negative reviews, hotel is very good for what it costs, however do not expect any luxury, great for overnight stay and during the day go for sights/activities; we were staying during a 3 day festival and the hotel was fully booked, but the common area in the hotel was kept quite tidy

hotel does not do standard housekeeping, you have to request cleaning; breakfast is served in a sister hotel nearby, if you like; bathroom shower in our room was very weak; something to consider is that the rooms are not equipped the same, i.e. some have big TV , some have small, different (not)working AC; pillows were very stiff, but the bed was quite comfortable

Was quick and easy checking in, staff on desk were polite, was pleasantly surprised on how big the room was, beds were clean and comfortable, would definitely stay again and recommend it, was in walking distance to shops etc, did hear a few guests buy only as they walked past, plenty of tea and coffee, only thing was the vending machines weren't working or turned off, would be good for a quick snack and drink especially if you're not a tea or coffee person. Other than was a really good place to stay.

We had a lovely time! The receptionists Jazeel and Azik were so friendly and helpful! They made our stay here so much better!

The bed sheets had a couple stains but overall the room was fine

Location, comfortable bed, a room with a window was a benefit due to the heatwave. It was clean and great value for money. It ticked the boxes.

They only service the room every 4 nights so our bins, towels or beverages were never stocked or taken care of. We were allowed to put the bins in the corridor for collection and they would have given us milk and coffee if we had asked. No beauty products apart from shower gel. It also is down alley way which is a little stinky with urine and bins. Saw a couple of crackhead shooting up at night. They didn’t cause any issues, but that’s not the hotels fault. Out of there control

I enjoyed my experience very much however me and my friend struggled to sleep as the room was very very warm and we couldn’t cool it down

The hotel isn't especially modern or fancy but it's clean, the bed is comfy, the price is good and the location is also really good. I was catching a bus to O2 Apollo for a gig but it seems to be just as handy and nearby when travelling by train or tram. Would I stay here again? Yes, without hesitation.

My room was absolutely roasting, the temperature dial was missing from the A/C so I've no idea just how hot it was but as it was a windowless room, opening the window for a bit of fresh air wasn't an option - thankfully there was a rotary fan in the room though. I would've liked a "big light" in the room, although there were multiple lamps in the room, I could've done with the room being just that little bit brighter.

The family room is well partitioned and kid was happy, there are opening windows to get a bit more fresh air, beds are okay, bathroom is clean and operational, ceiling is high. Room is stuffed with kettle/tea/milk. There was no issues with family check-in and holding luggage before/after check-in/out. Location is good for center reachability, but the exact hotel location somewhat a slum, but 50 meters, and the center is there.

The street is dirty (even worse than average dirt of Manchester), there are stairs at the entrance (crawl with your luggage), smells of soap everywhere, toilet on the ground floor is behind code lock (2017). Pillows are overstuffed (too high). Almost no sockets in the room, there is nothing near the bed, so charging is a problem. All staff talks with heavy accent and is a bit rough (including mildly annoying jokes). There is a lot of unfriendly banners in the lobby (harassment won't be tolerated, police will be called, ID must be presented or you won't stay there, etc - nothing specific, but I don't like threats even if they are not applied to me). Check-out/check-in gap is huge (10 am checkout, 15 check-in).

I was dreading staying here from the reviews. It was perfectly exeptable considering how much we paid and location is perfect. The beds were really comfy and clean that's all we wanted. Reviews say the staff are rude but from our experience it was hotel guests that were rude and had no manners and spoke to the staff in an awful manner. If you want a budget hotel in a great Location and your not fussy this is perfect. If your a complainer don't bother.

The air con wasn't working and it was boiling hot weekend but there was a fan in our room and we did the best we could. TV didn't work but we weren't there for that.
