We've stayed here before and everything is always perfect. From the bar staff and waitresses to the checking-in staff and cleaners. The rooms are soooo comfortable! And you have literally everything you could think of to keep you hydrated, full and entertained. We always take our pooch and he is always well catered for with a bed and bowls provided in the room. He LOVES the dog beds they provide, as much as we love our bed! We even booked to stay an additional night after our initial Saturday night stay.

We chose to stay an extra night than planned - which was fine - but the only complaint we have was that the Sunday evening staff were nowhere near as kind and professional as the Saturday staff and Sunday AM staff. We were the only people waiting at the bar for a drink and they were just chatting amongst themselves. They clocked us at one point but continued to ignore us and continued chatting and laughing with each other. Extremely rude and uncalled for. But this is the first time we have experienced this when we have stayed here so I would like to think this was a one-off. Certainly not to the standards that they usually have.

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday, and it was the best hotel we’ve ever experienced. The rooms were stunning, with lovely interiors, super comfy beds, and fluffy duvets. We had a dinner deal that included a £15 voucher each to spend in the restaurant, and although our expectations weren’t high because of the offer, the food was fantastic. A nice bonus was their eco-friendly reward system, you received a beer voucher each day if you reused your towels. The staff were exceptional, especially Eunice, who took care of us from check-in and even served us multiple times in the restaurant. She truly made our stay feel extra special. The location was also perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the main street. The only minor downside was that the pre-ordered beer tap for my dad’s room didn’t work, but we were generously compensated, so it wasn’t a big issue.

Loved all the quirky items in the room, we upgraded our package for beers in the shower fridge, beer keg in room as well as pick & mix in the corridor! Comfy bed & pillows (we are buying the same pillows now 🤣)! Food was lovely both breakfast & evening meal! Staff were nice and friendly if we needed anything they were more than happy to help! Location is great, very close to the shopping area and about 10 mins away from the train station! Even sent postcards to other brew dogs around the world to get a free beer 🍺...

Nothing! Enjoyed the 2 night stay 😊 Apart from not being able to find the milk on the 1st morning for a brew in our room lol...

Fabulous hotel! Have just returned home from a 2 night stay. Couldn't fault a thing. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much bother. Daisy and Dan, in particular, were fantastic, both very attentive, and Dan was full of knowledge of the local area. We stayed in one of the Captains Suites. The room was big and well laid out. Everything was perfect, the lighting, the temperature, and the comfortable bed. It was also spotless, as were all areas in the hotel and bar. The shower was fantastic, and I added on the shower beer package for my husbands birthday, which he loved. The room had lots of added extras, a turntable, guitar, and the biggest minibar I've ever seen! Our room was situated on the first floor above the bar, but there was no noise at all from downstairs, and the blackout curtains were fab, so we had a relaxing nights sleep. There was also a WhatsApp number so we could contact staff if need be, and could also use this to order hot dogs 24hours a day! There was a pick n mix stand in the hallway, which we made good use of 😉 We used the main bar a number of times, and also went up to the rooftop bar, with our drinks from downstairs as the bar up there wasn't open, but was still lovely to sit there with the patio heaters. Both were lovely. Huge choice of drinks. We had dinner on one night of our stay and brunch twice. The food was delicious. Very generous portions and quick service. Coffee also worth a mention as it was beautiful. All in all, a wonderful stay, and we can't wait to return!

My only gripe which is extremely minor is that there weren’t enough milk sachets available in the room. There were only 2 when in reality, one per cup will only ever result in a very strong cup of tea/coffee. For the sake of saving the guest from having to call reception, I suggest being a little more generous, possibly 6 in total. Again I realise this is very minor but personally I look forward to that morning cup of tea and on this occasion it wasn’t great especially when you consider all the thought that’s gone in to all the other offerings in the room which are extensive!!

Our second time at the dog house and as always we loved it! The staff were super polite and helpful and I'm really sorry but I can't remember their names. They deserve to be acknowledged though as they left us wanting for nothing. They even remembered my room number when I got back from the gig we went to and I was slightly tipsy!! The room was comfortable, cool and quiet and honestly a day wasn't long enough, maybe trip three will be longer.

Nothing really, but if I were to pick one thing, the blatant merch push on the rooms is a bit cheeky. I get pushing the big ticket items but the snacks and things, that's just too tempting, especially after a night out.

The area was quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. The room itself was well appointed, with fantastic added extras and amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable. From the in room beer taps to the fully stocked mini fridge, every detail felt thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness of the room was also impressive, with everything feeling fresh and well-maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, perfect for beer lovers and travelers looking for a unique hotel experience.

I was disappointed with a few aspects of our stay. My partner attempted to check in at 3:00 PM, the advertised check-in time, but was told the room wasn’t ready. The staff member he spoke to was not very helpful and offered little explanation or assistance. He was finally able to access the room at 3:20 PM, which may not seem like a long delay, but it caused unnecessary stress as he had a pre-booked appointment at 3:30 PM. Additionally, the food we had in the evening was underwhelming. We both ordered chicken burgers, but they were overcooked and dry, making the meal disappointing given our expectations.

The room is amazing. With a industrial look, it still looks classy and comfortable. I loved that the mini bar was so complete and there was vinyl player and a good selection of albums.

We stayed for the weekend and this was my Christmas gift to my boyfriend, whose favorite brewery is BrewDog. We came all the way from Portugal to be in "the hotel with beer kegs in the rooms". Most of our excitement was because we would have a Punk IPA tap for whenever we felt like a cold beer. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The hotel has a very limited amount of kegs and the one meant to be in our room broke on the day we were checking-in. They had no replacement and that was really disappointing. Other than that, but this is probably a very personal taste of mine, the room is really dark and has no power outlets next to a mirror (that does make a difference when blow drying my hair!).

Brewdog have done things really well…lots of nice little details like getting a free beer voucher if you don’t get your towel washed during a two night stay or little lights that come on under the bed if you get out of bed during the night so you can see where you’re going. The shower was also excellent and the room decor was on the right side of interesting without going too OTT. Staff were great as well.

The room was pretty hot and I couldn’t adjust the temperature on the little panel thing. The main bar area (also the breakfast room) was also pumping out too much artificial heat.

The staff are incredible, can't fault them. There are some good little perks, dinner included, sweet station at the end of the corridor, 24/7 hotdogs for a fiver!!! And an awesome bar downstairs.

My main concern is there was a constant ringing noise from the aircon, I could hear nothing but that, the staff helped by turning off the aircon unit completely but it was still there. They tried a couple more rooms for me and 1 was silent so happy days and the rest of the stay was great. It just puts me off going back, if I got a room like that again and there were no other rooms, I think the noise would drive me insane, I admit I do struggle with repetitive sounds so this may not affect anyone else the same. Again, I can't fault the staff on any of this. The woman who helped me was brilliant, really friendly, and couldn't do more to help.
