Well presented and equipped apartment. Energy efficient heating systems etc were great. Self-check in and key systems all worked perfectly once I understood where to find my key; excellent, very helpful support via WhatsApp for my one query.

These are minor quibbles: - a fridge would have been useful - an extra pillow or two would have been welcome - I’m a bit wobbly on my feet these days and getting into/out of the bath/shower unit involved a high step and some kind of small handrail to grab would be reassuring Otherwise though this was nearly a 10/10, but it’s a 9 because of the lack of sound separation with the adjoining apartment: totally out of control of the company, but the neighbours coming in at 01:45 and having zero consideration about the noise of their drunken shouting and merrymaking, when I had a 07:30 work start, was the only significant detraction.

Brilliant location right in the centre. Good facilities.

Mattresses a bit hard for me. Not enough hot water for three of us to shower in the morning. Some warning of the limit on hot water would have been helpful, especially as there is a solution, you can put the water booster on. We found out about the limit on water, the hard way. Minor break in table base we reported on arrival to ensure no one thought it was us. Staff insisted on coming to view. It was meant with the best of intentions, but we really did not want the interruption and no one seemed to take the hint. Would have quite happily sent a picture. These were minor niggles though. The accommodation was good value for money so don't be put off.

Location is in-front of Arndale Shopping center. Alison is a life saver. Offered help even with recommendations & directions. We asked for an extra items & they were quickly provided. Couch was comfy to sleep a 3rd person but a sofa bed would have been a better option.

On Saturday night a stand up comedy from a bar next door was so loud you could hear the jokes followed by what sounded like a price giveaway. Lasted for about two hours (8:30 to 10:30PM). The bedroom window does not close shut. There is a dribbling sound which runs all day. Most noticeable at night of course. Seems to come from inside the walls. It oversees the inner court.

Perfect location right in the city center on one side of the Arndale shopping center. We had our windows on the backstreet so it was quiet enough (on the other side there's tram lines right in front so not sure if as quiet). Close to instant reply for any question we had. Absolutely clear and easy checkin with mobile unlocking of front door and apartment door. Has all needed facilities - we did not felt we missed anything.

The only slightly discomfort was that it was a bit cold, or perhaps just our feeling as we're probably expecting a different temperature level than the UK norm.

- amazing position! close to the Manchester Cathedral, the Townhall, right across from the Machester Arndale Shopping Center, and so much more! - comfortable apartment - it's got everything you might need, even if you plan a long trip.

- the apartment was freezing cold when we arrived late at night, and the electrical heating takes a long time to kick in, since the building is old and seemingly not insulated. Overall, during our December visit, the apartment was always cold, at various levels. - the shower grout was moldy - I assume because of the cold weather, most previous renters do not properly air out the bathroom, so mold can easily build up.

Like a resurgent phoenix rising from the ashes after being closed for a few years, High Street Townhouse's return is a boon to tourists visiting Manchester. I've visited here since 2016 and it still remains my top pick. Honestly, the positives are numerous: - Price wise, you'll find it difficult to find another property in a similar location for cheaper or even similar. Best value aparthotel in Manchester, end of discussion. - The location it's in is literally right across from the Arndale and near numerous tram stations, as well as Shudehill a stones throw away. You're in the heart of Manchester City Centre, with various travel options nearby if you want to head out of the city for a bit, and the major shopping mall right across the street, and the amazing Northern Quarter literally around the corner. You can literally hit the Arndale, hit Afflecks and drop your bags back off at the aparthotel without wasting a lick of time. - Alison is such a gem of a human being. She feels like an old friend greeting you home. Her hospitality is second to none in Manchester. - Since it's been refurbished, there's some fancy new security features in place, all of which were thoroughly explained by Alison. I won't go into the nitty-gritty, but the doors are secure and the rooms are outfitted with cool kit to ensure your stay is comfortable and peaceful. - The apartments are cozy, have the latest kit (including smart TVs) and are fairly quiet. The beds are nice and comfortable, though the windows are a bit dated (But because it's a listed building, these things take work to replace so i'm not listing it as a negative) they still open up for a cool breeze. - Only four flights of stairs and a handy lift. I'm mentioning this because a lot of close-by aparthotels seem to want you to walk 16 flights of stairs if their lift goes kaput...or if you're claustrophobic. - Apartments are kept clean and nice.

Honestly, for the hospitality, price, security features and location, there's simply no negatives.

A really comfortable and good sized apartment for 2 people. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped...there was even a nutribullet. Not far from supermarkets and a fantastic fish counter in the Arndale centre across the road. Perfect location for the AO arena which was a 7 minute walk away.

I initially had an issue with reentry and whilst the phone number given was answered promptly the person I spoke to had no idea how to help and didn't know there was a key card waiting for me at the unmanned reception desk which I only discovered from one of the cleaning staff as I was leaving at the end of my stay.

The property was spotlessly clean, it had everything we needed and is in a central position. We weren’t disturbed by any city noise during our stay but everything was as in our doorstep. All of the staff were exceptional. The welcome was beyond our expectations, the housekeepers did an incredible job, it was immaculate! We couldn’t fault this accommodation and would thoroughly recommended staying here. Thank you

There was nothing to dislike, it couldn’t have been more perfect for our visit to Manchester and we will definitely visit again.

The location of the hotel was great, the rooms were clean, large and modern given how central the location was. There was a full kitchen and laundry could be done in the basement which was helpful. The space was comfortable and very convenient. The children's cot was set-up and ready for our check-in as requested. The staff were particularly helpful - they allowed us to have a late check-out (at a fee) and when they saw the amount of luggage we had and that I was pregnant and with a toddler, they were even kind enough to help us take our luggage downstairs, store it and then load our luggage into the car for us! We were very impressed and would definitely stay again!

The lack of convenient parking or even a place to stop the car outside the property was a bit of an issue when it came to checking-in and checking-out. There was also a remote system to open the main door and then your own room door - whilst when this is working, it was convenient, when the internet was down, you weren't connected to the Wifi etc. This then made things more complicated and there was often no-one present at the front desk to help. However, they are responsive over the hotline numbers provided.

The Penthouse apartment is very comfortable - good sized sofa, great kitchen altho no microwave for swift reheating. Provision of welcome coffee/tea/milks. Towels and bedding very clean and bed was surprisingly comfortable. Efficient heating and towel rail was great for ensuring fluffy warm towels. The greatest asset is the team at the front desk - i left my earrings and was given a call/ I was able to drop back and pick them up but best of all was the warm welcome, good convo and details about the city

There could have been better information in the apartment about the key card/getting in and out of the property but this was a minor issue. Also it would be good to have USB plugs as I had forgotten a plug to go with my charging cable, but again more my issue
