We booked Daiwa Roynet because we like their hotels. This one is just as good as what we have experienced in other cities. Clean, comfortable, very helpful staff. We were initially put in a room right below the smoking floor. The cigarette smell was too strong. They immediately arranged for a lower floor room away from the smoke. Love that their bathrooms are big by Japanese standards. Rain shower is excellent. Coin operated washing machine and dryer is a plus.

Nothing about the hotel, really. We stayed over a Thursday & a Friday night and the traffic was loud on Friday night. Not anything the hotel can do.

I loved everything about this hotel. Big room and bathroom, massage chair was a bonus. Breakfast was good value and a good selection of western style food. Dinner at Salvatores on the ground floor was very good. Behind the hotel there are many good restaurants. Try Sukesan udon restaurant for a very unique experience and good food. Hotel can arrange for your big luggage to be sent on to the next hotel for a very reasonable price. So good not to lug suitcase on the train etc. All sorts of shops at the station and around the hotel

Actually I like everything! It is absolutely clean hotel, very quite (in spite of window facing the main street), next to the streets with restaurants and bars. Just short walk from the station. Necessary amenities included!

This hotel was very nice. The rooms are large by Japanese standards and you have a very nice bathroom. There was even a small rack to hang clothes on entry which is uncommon in many Japanese hotels. The breakfast was good with lots of Japanese and more western breakfast options. Really something for everyone's tastes. Location is just a couple minutes walk from the train station. Highly recommend.

My only complaint would be that there were only two plugs in the main room that I could find.

This very nice hotel is so easy to find after you get off the train. Just go out the main exit on the pedestrian mall and look to your right. You will see the top of the hotel from there. It is an easy five minute walk from there. Check-in was easy with the help of the receptionist, which made check-out easy. The staff members who helped us were kind. Our room was small, but comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was good. This hotel is within walking distance of Tanga Market and Kokura Castle.

The location is perfect. Very close to the main station and close to parks and shopping centers, as well as restaurants and bars. The breakfast is good, it offers a lot of traditional options and food is fresh.

The pillows are a bit hard, but for sure other people find them too soft. Is just a little detail we noticed.

Very convenient, just a 5-mins walk away from the main train station (Kokura). Staff were friendly and welcoming, room was clean with all the basic amenities provided. Would recommend travelers to pick the Moderate Double Room instead of the Standard Double Room if you prefer a more spacious bed and room (especially for tall travelers like my husband).

Location is perfect. Kokura station within less than 5 minutes walk. Breakfast at the Italian restaurant downstairs was fabulous. Back of the hotel was a lane with many restaurants including Ichiran.

Bathroom light was too dim.

Very convenient Close to the domestic Fukuoka airport (12 min by walking; 5 min with the shuttle bus)

Outstanding location as just across the road from Kokura Station, & centrally located to all the sights & amenities.

A Queen size bed may be too small for a couple & if have access on both sides of the bed will be great.
