Third time here, cant stay away from the location and Albany. Enjoyed the walks, fishing and touring around the city of Albany. A local secret, right next to the location is a lawn bowls club, every Friday they open up to non members for a meal and a few beers, also a game of pool if you can get the table. The fish and chips are great, worth a visit if you are there on a Friday, meet the friendly folk that live in Albany. Look for the dog and cat that wander the premises, they are like two mates protecting their home.

Having to Leave

Perfect location for easy and quick access to the beach. Accommodation was spacious and could sleep 6 people. The hosts Tonia and Steve were extremely professional and welcoming to me and my dog. Accommodation was clean and had all the features needed for a self catering units. Being dog friendly was a huge draw card. The location was quiet for the amount of nearby caravan parks and other holiday resorts.

It felt slightly tired and dated in the decor but all the equipment you would need was available. Slightly more expensive for a solo traveller than I would usually pay but if the cost was shared between several people it would be great value (unit could sleep 6)

Although basic, the chalets are well equipped and clean. The bathroom has been recently renovated and Lino flooring was easy to keep clean, especially with two dogs inside. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning worked well in one unexpected hot day. The owners were very responsive to any messages and happy for us to have our dogs with us. The shared barbecues dotted around the grounds meant we could spend time with friends who were staying with their dogs also.

Second time staying here and it wont be our last, great hosts, great location. An easy walk to the water or the Emu point restaurant. Facilities are great for a barbi or gathering, the rabbits and magpies are there to greet you in the morning. Most villas are protected by the wind in the afternoon so you are able to sit outside and read comfortably. A quick drive to all locations around Albany , a great base to have on your trip to Albany, we recommended it.

This is my second time staying at Havana Villas. Little tiny house (but have 2 rooms 🥰) but equipped with all the necessary facilities! My kids enjoyed sleeping in the bunk bed. The toilet was very clean, and the kitchen was also spotless. The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay here! The beach is just a short walk away, and I love the beach. Of course, I will come again. Thank you, Tonia!"

During the summer, it gets quite hot, so it is suggested that the owner install air conditioners in the rooms.

We were going to pay cash on arrival for our stay but they took the payment out of our VISA card WITHOUT permission. The booking said we could pay on the arrival of our stay, but they took it out without permission on the morning before we even arrived. Was not happy about that as we had cash saved up purely to pay for the accommodation and our VISA was then in debit the booking amount! Which we had further bills coming out that day and were not able to meet them. Neighbors were very rowdy with children screaming at 11pm at night!

Friendly welcome from staff, and the chalet was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was pretty well equipped, with good-quality kitchen crockery, and no-frill appliances. For my son and I, travelling with my dog, the beachside location was superb. It’s so good to find accommodation that is genuinely pet-friendly.

The strip fluorescent lighting in the kitchen/dining/living room was a bit harsh.

Good base to stay at, we spent most of our time in Albany exploring so this was really just a place for us to make breakfast and dinner and sleep. Great value for money, clean and a stunning location to stay being just a short stroll to the beach, would definitely return.

Personally found the double bed not the most comfortable but the bunk beds were pretty comfy. Otherwise no complaints.

I normally don,t do reviews, however this time i feel compelled to. I mate and i had to make a spur of the moment overnight trip, seeking cheap basic accommodation. Booking .com lead me to Havana Villas. We found the staff very pleasant and accommodating to our needs. The grounds were immaculate. (In fact We spoke about how the whole town of Albany is so well kept and practically litter free). The unit was clean and well stocked. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves cascading on the beach 80 yds away. Say no more! Not a hiccup to be found! After staying that night ,we have vowed to enjoy a longer stay, and take friends and partners along to share the joy. Well done Havana!! You've got our vote!

I sat for a while thinking about this question. ....Going home.

The location is not too far from town, but walking distance to the beach at emu point. A short walk to a nice cafe. Unit was clean and tidy, with plenty of extra blankets, kitchen items (we didn’t need nor use), and the air conditioner was great.

For what we paid for, everything was great value and as expected.
