1 The property is rustic yet stunning. The owners have definitely put a lot of heart and investments into this property. It has only 3 rooms for guests. But each room is well designed, modern and functional. As an example, the bathroom mirror is lit and heated, so it is not foggy from shower steam. 2 The restaurant is cozy with a glass roof so you are flooded with morning light at breakfast 😀 3 The breakfast is made fresh from order. 4 The food, particularly fish and seafood dishes, are some of the best I have tasted anywhere. 5 The staff are simply amazing. From the owners to the chefs and the waitresses. 6 After a long day of outing, and after a lovely fish meal at the hotel (remember to reserve in advance), you can head back to your room to explore the insane amount of on demand channeld/TV series We had an amazing stay. This is definitely a hidden gem.

There isn't anything I did not like to be honest. You can fault its remotish location, but it adds to its charm and tranquility. If you drive, make sure you plan your route to avoid some of these very narrow and winding country roads. If you are hiring a car, go for a compact. You can fault it has no air conditioning, but I would imagine it will be rarely needed. The hotel does provide a number electric fan.

The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on attractions in the area. The food was absolutely delicious with selection of local products. Great selection of drinks at the bar including non alcoholic options as well. Great selection of tea and coffee in the room which included decaf options also and with bottled water and milk in the fridge. The bed was lovely and comfy. Lovely atmosphere in the pub and restaurant. Free WiFi which is very handy. Great selection of food on the menu. Parking very close by. Would definitely like to come back in the future. Keep doing what your doing so well.

Nothing, our stay was perfect there was nothing that we didn't like, we had a lovely stay.

Love how the rooms are decorated and to high standards of finish, love the food, really lovely breakfast, we only saw the lady at breakfast and a young girl as we checked out boy both were lovely. Very cheerful and made us feel like we were important guests.

Unfortunately the bed is too hard, it's such a shame as the room is beautiful but I suffer with my hips and they weee extremely painful after staying the bed was quite hard, maybe a mattress topper would help? The only other thing we both noticed was there's a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling of the room and light fitting we appreciate the room has high ceilings but there was dust on the beams, ceilings , light that were quite obvious. It wouldn't stop us returning as we love it so much just wanted to let you know.

Excellent food, lots of fish on the menu. I think the chef is the owner - real attention to detail, pride in the dishes, very professionally run kitchen, excellent breakfast too. Interesting dishes, perfectly cooked. Restaurant is very, very popular, only 3 rooms so I suspect people come from miles around the quality is that good. Friendly staff - on the ball, sharp. The room was large and clean, modern decoration, comfy bed, excellent lighting for putting on makeup. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights.

The Swan is a traditional pub, where people are welcomed to enjoy a drink, stand and have a chat. However, the Swan is also an amazing eatery. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, which had a different vibe to the pub area. The food was second to none. Our room was very well appointed and breakfast was exceptional. We'll certainly be visiting The Swan again soon. Thank you.

There was nothing to dislike.

It’s a delightfully old cottage style pub with a beautifully designed modern extended dining room. The room was stylishly appointed with excellent use of space and lighting. The food was exceptional.

I’d have like more than one real fire in the bar area. It was a miserable December night. Cold, wet and windy but only one fire lit. Maybe that’s the only one that they can light but more would have been lovely.

A lovely location (although a busy road outside), Friendly staff. The room was really comfortable. Tasteful decoration, high quality fixtures and fittings, thoughtful attention to everything that was provided. Nothing was missing that I needed. The bed was super comfortable with good linen. My evening meal was really excellent, as was the breakfast. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or to recommend it, in fact I already have.

We liked the straightforward approach to hospitality which made it easy to enjoy our stay. The food was excellent with the dinner experience alone made the journey worthwhile. Suggest that booking a table is sensible.

There was nowhere to hang anything in the room and a hook on the bathroom door would be helpful. The up to date television in the room was beyond the control of everyone but probably a very short lived problem. Really minor points

From arrival to departure we could not fault the accommodation, staff or hosts who made us feel very welcome. Great food and well equipped room which was well thought out and had everything needed. Comfortable and clean and even the weather was perfect! Great location and we will return.

Large and comfortable room, modern but not without character. Mid week deal, but still a busy bar serving well kept beer and an excellent meal. Breakfast was a cut above the usual Full English. Quality sausages, and a perfectly cooked ,delicious egg, bacon and coffee. The staff were all friendly and well informed. A nice change! Great stay… many thanks.
