The hotel is an amazing place. The welcome we had from the staff at the front desk was exceptional. The intro to the hotel and facilities was great. Welcome drink on one of the terraces (we chose which one) was lovely overlooking the pool! The room we had was fabulous, we were upgraded on arrival which was lovely. The food in the restaurant was particularly good, we ate there for both of our two night stay. The decor around the hotel is fantastic. Very different, but amazing to see. We absolutely loved the hotel and staff and will definitely come back.

Superb service. Kind and attentive. Always smiling. This place by far exceeded our expectations. Just a stunning hotel. The attention to detail is second to none. Staff are just incredible- the highest level we have ever experienced - giving their absolute best in kindness, attention and generosity in a kind and authentic way. Rooms are stunning and beautifully decorated with excellent bedding, beautiful linen, luxurious bathrooms and immaculate cleaning and attention to details. Pool is luxurious and well attended allowing for an amazing relaxing time and they even give you 2 x divine hats to lounge by the pool in style! Breakfasts were generous, super delicious, great friendly smiley service and the restaurant is out of this world, just so tasty, every single dish- and we tried them all! Super cute town, divine surrounding beaches and you can hire electric bikes to go exploring. We enjoyed our time so much and highly recommend!! . We would stay here again a heartbeat and cannot wait to return to this perfect, calm, amazing place which literally feels like heaven.

Nothing, everything was just divine

The service was extraordinary. The young staff was so friendly and helpful, from the front desk to servers in the restaurant to the person answering the gate. They made it feel like you were visiting someone's home. Then, the design and artwork throughout the hotel, and certainly my room, was so interesting and unique. They located a local English speaking driver/guide for a day of exploration of the area that I arranged at the last minute. The last minute nature of my request didn't phase them. That was a treat.

We are totally in love with every little thing about Vermelho. Of course the interior design and architecture are what stand out most. The whole experience from the food at breakfast, to food at dinner, as well as the incredibly helpful, polite and friendly staff. We wished we could have extended our trip.

Nothing to do with the hotel, but we do wish we had come with our own car as it is easier to move around as there is much to see. If not, then relaxing in the luxury of the hotel was just as wonderful.

The property and its surroundings are absolutely beautiful. It is a place of tranquility and luxury. And the staff team is exceptional!

We loved the breakfast though I think a buffet table to complement the menu selection would be great. Really nothing to complain about but a table of local produce eg nuts and figs, etc, to complement breakfast, would be exceptional.

The hotel is in the centre of Melides so ideal for seeing the local sights Breakfast in the hotel was lovely - fresh smoothies every morning. Food cooked to order The gardens are very attractive We had dinner one night and it was super. The bar area is very attractive The decor is quirky reflecting the owner’s style Valet parking

There really wasn’t anything to dislike!

Absolute perfection. Gorgeous hotel, remarkable staff, excellence in every way. Breakfasts are incredibly generous and delicious, decor is beyond beautiful. Can't wait to return.

wish our room had a bidet. Bathroom was enormous and gorgeous.

It was off the charts> We loved every detail. The setting, the decor, the food, the bedding, the lighting, the staff, the attention to detail. One of the Nicest hotels I have ever stayed in.

I wish the pool was a big bigger....but it was fine as the hotel only has 13 rooms, so it was never crowded and the setting was spectacular

Amazing place with style.

Too isolated. You can not go even to the beach. There is nothing to do in the little village. One night enough to enjoy the hotel.

The most amazing property, experience, and staff that felt like family! Truly heaven on earth and the best hotel experience of all time.
