The hotel offers a rich breakfast and dinner buffet with a variety of tasty dishes. Wine is available for dinner at an additional cost, with a wide selection to choose from. By the glass, it costs 6 Euros for a decent red or white wine. A particularly convenient feature is their table allocation system - guests are assigned a numbered table for their entire stay, eliminating queues at the dining room entrance and the hassle of finding seating. While the coffee machines are only operational during breakfast hours, which is somewhat disappointing given their excellent dinner desserts, coffee is available at the bar on another floor for 1.5 Euros. The dinner menu features delicious pasta dishes, though vegetarian options are not consistently available every evening. The staff is friendly and helpful, with special mention to Felix, the dining room manager, whose kind and humorous demeanor contributes to the excellent service. Overall, staying at the Hotel Planibel was a very positive experience. The staff at the reception, bar, dining room, store and spa and the room attendants provided excellent service, and the TH mobile app proved helpful before our arrival and throughout our stay.

It seems that the hotel underwent renovation a few years ago and presents a modern, well-maintained appearance. However, the elevator system remains a notable concern - despite having 4 elevators, they operate slowly and appear outdated. The stairwell from the third floor is external and although it has walls, there are openings, and it can be quite cold in it. Still, during our stay on a lower floor, we found the stairs to be the efficient option. The ski-room accessibility is suboptimal, with its dedicated elevator also being slow and outdated.

The location is perfect. Seconds from the slopes and gondola. Pool is lovely. Rooms are very warm. The food for adults is on a par with cruises. Not so much for kids imo. Spotless clean too. The lifts. The less said the better. You’ll get your steps in. That’s for sure. I’d still stay again tho. So close to being a really really great hotel.

If you stay in a room facing the takeaway you will not sleep before midnight. They have speakers outside for some reason. They charge 4€ pp for towels every visit to the pool and the locker room is two floors below the level you need to be at to access everything which makes it difficult especially with kids. With kids the food is limited. But still very good.

Location was perfect next door to Gondola and chair lift so easy access to ski slopes. Bedrooms are superb and food was very nice. Restaurant and cleaning staff absolutely lovely.

We had bad weather and were unable to ski on some of the days and there was nothing to do. They could do with some pool tables or games as they have the space. The huge cafe area could accommodate this. They wouldn’t extend our 10.00 am checkout which was a shame as our transfer wasn’t until 2.00 pm and it would have been really helpful to even have had an extra hour in the room.

It is literally next door to the gondola so the painful walk in ski boots was minimal. The staff and food were brilliant. They managed to keep everyone in the family happy, including 2 picky vegetarians, one health food fan and a pizza loving child. The food standard was incredibly high for buffet, we kept the same table for every meal. Staff at the bar were super helpful and managed everything quickly and efficiently. spa was modern and really nice.

The bathroom smell!!! Clearly the rooms are newly redecorated, great size and tons of storage, but the plumbing wasn’t tackled and the rooms smelled even when I covered the shower drain, closed the door and opened window. Lifts were also not refurbished, felt ancient and tiny bit unsafe. No radiators in ski room, seems odd in this day and age.

Overall good feeling. Room clean and comfy. Bar good. Entertainment / house band excellent. Location for slopes superb. Pool and spas brilliant. Staff friendly and helpful. HB option food good selection and plentiful.

Lift to and from ski lockers. Main lifts take a long time to come, any time of day.

Location is amazing, 30m to the ski lift. Food is good, apres ski bar is very good at reasonable prices.

Hotel lifts ia from 80' century... they are VERY slow, a lot of people simply using stairs. Loud music is playing untill the midnight, so you can start to rest peacefull only after the midnight.

Rooms have been recently nicely refurbished . Food is excellent and the buffet formula is fantastic

The bar area is a bit rundown. Could use more and newer sofas. Strangely missing hangers for towel in the bathroom

It is a classy, well run, hotel with nice sized rooms and an extremely excellent restaurant and bar areas.

The only negative I found was the entry and exit of the boot room. It involves climbing stairs or waiting for a rather inefficient and compact elevator.

Rooms were comfortable, though I would have liked a chair to sit on. Restaurant was excellent though a little busy at meal times.

The lifts seemed very busy. The ski locker room wasn’t heated so boots never dried out properly overnight.

the atmosphere of buffet is like being in china town.. Dining table policy are strange! but the manager is very kind.. I cant blame him with the number of customers.. Babyclub is great!
