literally everything I liked at this place! Staff (mostly I've dealt with the owner), are very friendly and despite the lack of english- will help you with everything you need. The room is clean and cozy, beautiful view of the Mont Blanc area. Bathroom is big enough, great shower. Usual Italian style- there's a bidet beside the toilet, very convenient :-) All clean and cleaned everyday, I even had to ask not to clean the room because didn't use any facilities at some days :-) Breakfast served from 8am till 9:30am, just inform the staff in advance. And be ready for small, continental breakfast, nothing fancy but coffee!... Any conversations can be made through Google translate, the lack of English language will be very well compensated by genuine wish to help the guests! I personally highly recommend to stay at this hotel, just one bus stop from Courmayeur (approximately 7 minutes ride down the road), it's way cheaper than in the town itself, very quiet area (actually, it's worth to discover the village itself, you literally find yourself in the real 18th century Italian village- outstanding feeling!)

The only one negative thing about this hotel: No lunch or dinner provided at this place. There is a canteen and dining area right beside the main building, but no possibility to have a dinner/ supper. Keep this in mind and bring your own, ready to eat or dehydrated food. You can ask the owner or staff to supply you with boiled water and consume in the small dining room (as we did), but no hot food can be ordered at the hotel. That's really sad because a lot of climbers/ mountaineers could come and stay there. I really wish that this issue will be solved soon coz would love to visit and stay at this hotel again soon...

Is New Zealand’s we are used to a small kitchenette with jug and small fridge but this does not appear common in Europe. The folk at Marmotte allowed us to use the fridge to keep some food cold which overcame this.

The hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like visiting family. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking.

The view from the room was perfect, the mountains and snow. Room was cozy and warm, staff are agreeable and helping.

The wall was a little bit thin, so you could hear your neighbors flushing the toilet. A little bit far away from restaurants and shops, need to have a car to reach them.

The hotel is in a quaint village at 10 driving minutes from Courmayeur with a wide car parking. All rooms have a balcony, mountain view and comfortable beds. Super clean and full-equipment bathrooms. The staff is friendly, helpful and the croissants, at the breakfast, are warm.

No nearby shops / restaurant

The room has the right spaces and it has a balcony with an amazing view on the mountains. Waking up with that view was the best thing. We enjoyed the breakfast with few but very good quality products.

The only thing I would suggest is to put in new beds because the ones that were in our room were time-worn in shape

There was no wide wide selection - just croissants, some bread and sweet marmelades. We've asked for natural yogurt - so the waitress brought it. By the way - croissant were just wonderfull :)

There is no fridge in the room, no cups or glasses.

The location, the room, really worth the price, very good breakfast, and our own large parking lot for our jeep!

Amazing staff, very friendly, very helpful! Felt like home! Great spot by the river, amazing views and little town. Perfect location for reaching other destinations as well. Well connected with busses. Highly recommend!
