The hotel is in a great location, right in the center of Chamonix, close to shops, restaurants, and everything you need. The staff were helpful and friendly. I was happy with the large room and comfortable bed. One nice perk was the free coffee, tea, water, and hot chocolate available at the entrance anytime you want. I arrived early in the morning and had to wait until 3 PM for check-in, but it wasn't a problem since they provided a room to store bags. Breakfast didn't have a lot of variety, but it was good enough to start the day, the waiter was polite and helpful.

The room door was a bit concerning. The hotel still uses vintage-style doors, and in Room 35, the lock seemed fragile, almost as if it could break from the wooden door. This made me a bit worried about the security of myself at night and my stuff when I wasn't in the room, though nothing went missing. Also, the toilet and bathroom were separate, which might be inconvenient for some.

I loved the cozy feeling this hotel gave. While being cozy, it was also clean tidy and not run-down. The single room I booked had a decent bathroom (toilet separate from shower), a comfortable bed, and a balcony with views of Mont Blanc. Downstairs there was a nice lounge and the lobby with direct access to the restaurant/pub next door, however there are many other better options for food in Chamonix.

Perhaps some better ventilation for the bathroom would've been nice, I don't think the ventilation fans in my bathroom worked. But it didn't really bother me.

We had the triple room with mountain view and from all the rooms we could see the amazing landscape that surrounds the village. The rooms were warm and clean. The receptionist that checked us in, Claire, she was really nice and helpful with any concerns we had. The 0.5 L glass bottles they give as a souvenir are a really nice detail, and you can refill them at the water station they have it at the reception lobby. If you look for a cosy and warm stay, the hotel is perfect for it. Its perfectly located in the centre of the village and you can access the main attraction points by walking.

Not sure you can get a better location. they were accommodating of a late check in (1245am). Bedrooms were sizeable and has beautiful views.

The lock required some serious fiddling to get into the room. I was a Little disappointed that they had recently updated their policy that baggage storage no costs €5 per day. I was just leaving a small bag while going hiking for four days and in my experience staying in mountain hotels this is usually something they don’t mind doing. Additionally at that price I’d usually expect a legit locker instead of a room at the back of the hotel.

Everything!! Location, staff were lovely and helpful. Had as many hot drinks as I wanted from the machine. Right in the centre of the beautiful Chamonix. Supermarket right next to it. Beautiful square and shops and art galleries. Lovely place to visit.

Perhaps have hot drink making facilities in the room like we have in England. There wasn't any kettle to make a hot drink, I had to go out of my room and downstairs to get a dink. The place was so beautiful though I was happy drinking water in my room.

Right in the centre, dog friendly, discount on food in the attached restaurant. Parking and free coffee in foyer (none in rooms). Very basic facilities but clean and all you need for a couple of nights

Parking instructions were a little confusing.. looks like you are going to a dead end, but when you reach the barrier you call them from the barrier not the phone to ask them to put the barrier down and it is towards the left and straight down.

great little hotel. nice atmosphere . old hotel an maybe they need to rest up the rooms. not fancy but clean and nice beds. the breakfast was ordinary. its probably not for a honeymoon but its a little bit like the old good 80ts and i feel great in there. the staff was great.

The location is great, the view from the window is nice. The breakfast has large variety. We’ve been given glass bottles of water upon arrival.

The rooms are very plain, the beds aren’t comfortable. When we asked about breakfast, we’ve been told it’s 15€, but when we went to pay the next day before breakfast they raised it to 18€ because we didn’t pay the day before!( and no one told me this, I would’ve paid the day before.) The parking is hard to find and expensive.

We are couple from Hungary and Philippines, it's our first time to visit in Chamonix and it's nice experience specially for the good stay in your hotel. Friendly staff, they are very helpful for all the queries we have, we would like to thanks the receptions people specially George he is so nice and professional on his job, and give suggestions as well for places to visit and activites to do to enjoy our vacation while we are there. 👍👍👍,. The most important thing is the staff, responsive, everyone always smiles, they try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is very convenient, absolutely everything is within walking distance including ski lifts to the mountain, shops, restaurants. I really liked everything, I was traveling alone, but it felt like home
