Very nice view (mountains view) I think it is the most beautiful view in Chamonix. Excellent location, but difficult for people who have difficulty walking because it is on a hill. Good facilities, clean suite, and a quiet neighborhood. I have stayed in this property more than 5 times because it is very nice.

There is no AC or fan, which makes it difficult to stay in this property if the weather is not cold. The pillows are terrible, and they should provide us with tissues and clean towels on a daily basis. They also need to renew or maintain some of the furniture because it is getting old.

Large, comfortable and well equipped apartment, close to Chamonix centre, peaceful and with great views of the mountains. Games room and pool (although cold) were hits with my family.

Receptionists certainly give the impression that guests are there to annoy them! Shower over bath with no height to stand.

2nd time at this hotel. It’s such an amazing location with a great view and spacious, well equipped self contained apartments. There is ample cupboard and hanging space for even people like us who have crazy amounts of luggage. having the amenities such as pool and games room, washing machines is fab as well as your own little kitchen to just boil up some pasta if you don’t want to sit in a restaurant for a change. It’s really good value for money and an excellent choice for families, just don’t expect perfection in everything as it has not been modernized for some time. Personally, we don’t care and I’ve had more fun here than I have in many other 5* modern ski hotels where you can’t swing a cat and pay substantially more. Gym equipment was broken and not really usable. A few things in our apartment were also broken eg the bath tap didn’t work so to have a bath you had to run the shower head.

The appartements are in a great location! Everything is just in a few mintues walking distance. I love that there‘s a pool for the clients, but if you are travelling with a baby keep in mind that the heated pool may still be too cold for you little one. We had an appartement with a lovely balcony and overall the appartement was nice. I have to say that everything was a bit on the „old“ side but I guess in a few years there will be a need to renovate or buy new mattresses/sofas. The beds unfortunately were very uncomfortable and you could hear the metal springs when moving. All in all it was a good stay and I would recommend les balcons du savoy.

We really enjoyed our stay. We absolutely loved the location of this property right on the ski fields. The views were amazing, it was the first time my children have seen snow and it was so easy for them to step outside and have snow fights, build snowmen, borrow the hotel sleds and go snowboarding on the beginner slopes right at our door. The apartment was a great size. Loved that we had two showers. The ga unities were great and we took advantage of the breakfast twice. The staff were really helpful and we appreciated how well they spoke English as our French is very basic. We would love to stay again and really recommend this place.

I think the room selection is key here as we had an apartment looking straight to Mont Blanc and this is what made it so special. Despite the fact that we are seasoned travellers it reminded us that spending your budget on accomodation more than eating out is sensible. With the amazing views and the fact that we had cooking facilities, we didnt want to eat out much.

Bizarre that they didnt leave us spare bin liners for the kitchen so was constantly scrambling for plastic bags! Didnt like the pool either - it was a big splash around pool and you couldnt really swim in it.

Very well-equipped and comfortable apartment. Easy walk into town. Nice breakfast.

The hotel was in a perfect location, just a short walk from town, which made it a peaceful stay away from any noisy bars. The view of the mountains from the room was amazing. The swimming pool & sauna and games room were most welcome for when we could not ski. The breakfast was great. Having a bus stop right outside the hotel and only being 1 stop to (and back from) the Brevent cable cars certainly helped. Having the ski hire place drop and pick up our equipment to our own ski locker in the basement was also really helpful and came with a discount too!

Lack of snow outside the apartment for the Savoy nursery ski area (one of the main reasons we booked this hotel, but not the hotels fault!). Our trip was Easter so I would hope that this would be snowy in Jan/Feb?

Small dining room, feeling of crampedness in case of a larger number of guests, but otherwise a sufficient selection of dishes, including both sweet and savory options. No room cleaning is provided if you have a one-bedroom suite reservation for less than 3 nights - this is strange for me, because this facility calls itself 4 stars hotel. and I would expect room service everyday.

Lovely hotel, very clean. Apartment bedroom nice and spacious with a comfortable bed. Bed settee in living room was two singles not a double which was disappointing. Breakfast was amazing. Hotel concierge sorted out ski passes which were waiting for us at the hotel and the transfer to and from the airport which was very helpful.

There was no snow in Chamonix town so unfortunately not ski to door (would be if there was snow). Snow on the slopes was perfect. The ski bus stopped outside the hotel which was great. However the bus to the nearest gondola was always full as it was the last stop, even at lunchtime on our first day, so we couldn’t get on the bus. So we walked in ski boots and carried our skis which was hard work!! We worked out for the other days that if we got the bus to the other gondola we were the first stop so plenty of room and this worked very well. We would have really appreciated it if the hotel could have advised us of this.
