Excellent location in the middle between city center and all the skiing activities, short walk from trails as well. Lovely views of the mountain from hotel. Very friendly staff and attentive, clean spacious room with most amenities and nice decor kind of chalet style. Felt cozy and good value for a 3 star. Magical.

There are no double beds for some reason. They asked us if we wanted it, so we asked a double bed and they put two single beds together. It's not a big deal but the crease in the middle is not comfortable. But we are young and slept well anyway so did not need to complain. Small detail the Bar is nice downstairs, but missed potential as there isn't staff much staff that can do cocktails or aperitifs in the evening.

We loved everything! All the staff members were very helpful and always smiling. The location is minutes from the city center, easy to reach the bus station, the Montenvers train, Aiguille du midi cable car or Brevent cable car. We also loved the breakfast in a nice setting, overlooking the mountains. Our room exceeded our expectations, had a very lovely and cosy chalet decor and the view was breathtaking. It was also very clean. Our only regret is that we didn't get to use the outdoor jacuzzi, we only stayed for 2 nights and had to squeeze a lot of sightseeing. But we would definitely return! Thank you for the great stay!

Front desk staff was more than perfect and supportive. Very quick response from the front desk staff related to any of our requests View from the balconies Main salon and unique decoration

Housekeeping has to be changed or controlled with firms' follow-up as they are not good at all For 3 nights we kept asking to make up our room or change our towels Every day we had to complain to the front desk lady to push the house keeper to do her work as well

Very cute and cozy hotel, probably the best value in Chamonix. Fabulous location, you can walk everywhere in town, private paid parking. We had a superior room with balcony that had a gorgeous view of the mountains. Staff is super friendly and very enthusiastic. Beds are comfy, breakfast is very nice and in a lovely breakfast room. Very nice and comfy lounge. Super Alpine nostalgic decor.

This is great value, but don't expect luxury. No toiletries, just gel soap in a dispenser by the tub. We never knew when we would get housekeeping. We were there five nights and only once got housekeeping. The lounge is very nice but only open until 8 pm. Parking is really expensive: 20 euros a night for outside, 35 for a garage. Wi-fi is very iffy and slow.

Breakfast spread was excellent. They even had a capuccino machine so you can make yourself any kind of coffee. I made a couple of coffees to take in my flask as we went on a long hike that day. Eggs, pancakes, french toast, deli sliced meat and variety of bread were on the menu.

Check in time was 4pm and I arrived just after 4 from Geneva, but I still hadn't gotten the gate code to bring my car in to check into my room. I had to find a parking far away and walk to just get the code to go back and get the car. Timely check in info would be nice :-(

We as a family stayed at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights and must say we loved this cozy and beautiful property and our Cozy room. The view is amazing, near to the city Centre (around 5 mins walk). The complete staff was so welcoming, smiling and helpful. Property was neat and clean with lovely views. Also very close to the Mer Glace train station. If we are going to Chamonix then we are definitely going to stay again in this property. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect for us.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Great to have a king size bed and the room was a good size. Breakfast was simple & adequate provided you don’t have any allergies. There is plenty of parking, although you do have to pay. however they were kind enough to let us leave the car for a few hours after checkout as we had a tour the morning of our last day. The view from our room was stunning! Everything was easy walking distance & there are a lot of dinner & lunch options at a good range of price points. It is a simple property, but this is reflected in the price in the context of other properties in Chamonix which is a French tourist town in the alpine region, you have to compare apples with apples when talking accommodation prices.

Probably the only issue for me, was that there wasn’t a lot I could eat at breakfast.

After two days in a budget hostel, I wanted a more comfortable place to rest and was fortunate to find a room at this auberge during peak season. Despite limited options, I was glad I booked here. The room was spacious, with two small balconies, thanks to its corner location. From the balconies, you get stunning mountain views and can watch the lively street below. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great during my stay, or I would have spent the entire day enjoying the views.

All the TV programs are in French, even Netflix XD

Excellent location a short walk to Chamonix center. Warm mountain chalet ambiance with lovely view of the Mont Blanc Massif. Price reasonable for Chamonix. Good wifi. Friendly staff service.

Property is dated and in need of renovation but the room was comfortable and clean. Hotel parking cost €20/day. Seems high but parking space is limited near the center. The breakfast is adequate but the quality is disappointing.

Lovely, friendly desk staff and amazing views from our room. No mini fridge which was a pity, and definitely no lift which is a challenge with heavy cases. We had a corner room with amazing views of mt blanc and all the parachute jumpers. Not on the main strip of shops so it was quiet at night but still close to walk to all the restaurants. A yummy bakery is very close by.

Mini fridge in room would be helpful given all the cheese and dried meats you can buy and especially as there is space for one in the room.
