Sandra the owner must be one of the most wonderful hosts we have ever met, and we have met lots. Due to flight times, we arrived late in the evening, and she welcomed us from the car. She was considerate of the fact that we were travelling with an infant and she allocated us an outside room for our privacy and convenience. To top it off, the room had a separate entrance altogether, which meant that we did not necessarily have to go through the main house in order to access our room. Sandra serves you Breakfast personally, which I must add was lovely. The guesthouse is big, beautiful and spacious and Bra Zolis is on site to ensure that all is well kept. We will definitely return for future stays as this guesthouse exceeded our expectations thus highly recommend to all.

Our host communicated with us via WhatsApp before arrival and made some good recommendations for restaurants. Our host also made us breakfast despite an early start of 6pm and shared some of their experience of living with South Africa which was appreciated. The internet also worked during load shedding. The room was huge!

Very friendly owner, she welcomed us with open arms. Breakfast was also very good! Would for sure recommend this if you want a vacation in PE. Everything is also close by, beach, city, park,...

We had a connecting room with the guest in the other room. The door was locked but if you have loud guest next to you, you can hear the whole conversation 😅

Everything was very well organized and managed. It is a good opportunity to feel you like an owner of such a nice property. Once you are their guest you will experience yourself in the 20th century. The Manor is a wonderful building situated in calm location. Manager Charlotte was so nice to get in touch in advance in order to provide smooth check in and pleasant stay in general and her kind advices were just in handy. Delicious homemade breakfast. Lovely rustic place with loads of charm. Don't expect anything fancy or shiny, It's a manor after all.. But the rooms are huge and well equipped, the breakfast is great. the garden is massive (there's even a pool) and Sandra, the host, is the most wonderfull person you'll ever meet!

The roof windows in the room we stayed in make it a lovely room full of natural light, but for a lightsensitive sleeper like me that also makes it a bit challenging to sleep further once the sun is out

Our stay at Hallack Manor in Port Elizabeth was good The classical-style house evoked a sense of South African history, creating a unique atmosphere. The breakfast was not only delicious but also accompanied by attentive staff. You definitely need a car to move around the city because it's large and the interest spots are far away from each other.

One area for improvement would be sound isolation in some rooms. We had neighboring guests who were quite loud at times, which could be a bit distracting.

Sandra is such a great host. Her friendlyness is pure. Felt more like I was chatting to an old friend or family member. I was even gifted with a few decor pieces. Suits my home perfectly btw. Enjoyed my walk around the garden aswell. Well done on the service. The staff are just so welcoming. Will definitely be back hopefully before the big move. But otherwise goodluck on your adventure if I don't return before then.

Arrived as guests and left as friends. Sandra and Arnold were so accommodating, nothing was an issue and we had a great laugh. We had a couple of braais (bbq) and swam in the pool. Would definitely go back to stay. We had a separate apartment which was clean and well equipped. Housekeeping everyday

Sandra the host was wonderful, very helpful and friendly. The room was large. Not sure about the location as only used to stay the night as we arrived late and needed to pick up a car the next morning. A great stay and it had everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely, very fresh aan plentiful

I was looking for a safe, comfortable place to stay near the airport at the end of my road trip, and this checked all the boxes! It’s a charming bed and breakfast, and very comfortable. The breakfast that the host serves in the morning is good, and she’s so nice to chat with! I felt very safe and well cared for here for my one night stay.

The wifi was a little weak in the room I was in, but I wasn’t too troubled by it.
